- Rozelle (4/5): Toilet horrors… never thought I’d be traumatised by a toilet 🚽 - The room was so good and really modern and the parking was super close so no need to worry about dragging bags around.
3 simple things and this place will be stunning!
1. Fresh pillows
2. Reduce the noise from the family next door.
3. Replace that death bowl of a toilet. 1. The dirty tossing pillows has to go to the bin it’s super gross.
2. It’s 2026 and there are so many nicer things to put up in a shower, why are we still putting shower curtains up which gets stuck to your body while showering… who knows who’s naked butt was last been attached to that curtain and the shower head drips all night… we closed the tap so tight but it still dripped all night.
3. The toilet… 🚽 dearie me… who does that to people… this toilets don’t take toilet paper that’s why it has options to spray the bum and nana… I swear you guys are laughing at us with that toilet! We had to resort to the nearest mall to do our business there as when you do it in this place’s toilet it’s a massive disaster watching your poo turn in circles like the seconds arm on your watch… then you have to plunge and god forbid if you plunge to slow you’ll get a beautiful salad 🥗 bowl staring right at you.
4. Kids screaming and shouting and running up and down all day long till 9pm at night, it’s not so nice to recover from jet lag with all that going on!
(I will share a photo of the closest mall for future people staying here or learn how to plunge!)
- Karen (7/5): Clean, compact studio apartment, suitable for a short stay in Perth. - It was small but had all the necessary requirements. The eco toilet. If its purpose is to save water then it is a waste of time because it needs to be flushed several times in order to get rid of toilet paper. The presence of the plunger was telling.
- Lucy (5/5): Studio A Breckler Park..... More like studio F!! - It was clean and the location was great for our purposes. The fancy Japanese toilet was shocking. Really awful. Didn't flush properly. Everything was so high. I'm 157cm and couldn't reach the kitchen cupboards. Couldn't reach the coat hangers in the wardrobe. Thankfully my husband was with me but, the 'apartment' wasn't really big enough for 2 people. The bed was against the wall and rock hard. Also, I never would have booked if I had realised it was a room next to someone's house! Also the whole area smelt like an open sewer.
- Brian (7/5): Served our short term stay. - Was clean and tidy with all necessary supplies and our needs met. Shower had some leaks ...maybe just needs new washers to be able to turn off taps. And the toilet was very low flow and poor flushing.
- kevin (8/5): The hosts were very accommodating -

- Annette (4/5): Clean, but poorly designed and missing some basics. Attention to detail needed. - The studio apartment was clean, and the mattress was comfortable once you got on it. When I arrived (in the middle of the night) the instructions for locating the key were inaccurate in every way except for the numerical code. I had to go hunting around the premises in the semi-dark to find the key-box.
I finally got inside and was met by a very strong sewerage smell - this turned out to be coming from a self-flushing toilet that must have never fully flushed. To flush it required at least 2 lots of sitting and rising. Obviously there had been problems in the past, as there was a large toilet plunger positioned beside the pedestal. The smell never fully abated during my stay. There was no toilet roll on the holder and I had to get off the toilet to track down the toilet paper.
I had checked about the coffee & tea facilities (particularly the coffee making) and been reassured that there was a French Press, which there was, along with a pack of ground coffee. Unfortunately, there was no milk available and the only tea I could find was 2 bags of Earl Grey.
The bathroom was not much wider than the actual toilet, and the distance between the shower and the vanity was such that I - a shortish person - had to be careful not to bang my head when I bent down to dry my feet. However, the toiletries ledge in the shower was so high that it was of no use to me. Instead I used the rusting metal soap holder on the wall. There was a rain shower head, but it was positioned off-centre and this caused problems with water splashing out of the shower recess.
In the main area everything was clean and there was ample crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils. There was also a 2 burner cook-top which worked well. There was a microwave which was positioned so high above my head that I could not use it. The only seating (other than the bed) came in the form of two high, swivel chairs positioned at the very high bench directly under the tv. The mattress was comfortable, however the pillows were very thin. The bed was also very high and had a wooden ledge around it.

- Leonie (8/5): Quiet studio - Quiet street, close to where I needed to be. very clean and well presented. Had all amenities needed. Pretty awesome toilet 😁 Bed was a little hard. But that is individual taste. Didn’t have any sort of lounge chair. Difficult as there was not really room. Tricky.
- Win (8/5): Very good -
- Zella (7/5): Quiet convenient area for us - Location. Very comfortable bed and a good shower We found the room very small. Lack of suitcase space. Lack of comfortable seating area either inside or out.
- Sarah (10/5): Great stay as always, will be using for my TAFE course blocks again next year. -
- Jane (8/5): Very good -
- Vicky (9/5): Was really nicely appointed and comfortable. - Excellent location for our needs. Clean fresh and cozy Just missing washer/dryer
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Waki (4/5): Disappointing - Good Strong odour smell coming from the toilet and bathroom area
- Camila (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (4/5): Disappointing - Clean unit. Quiet suburb & a nice park over the road to walk in. Expensive for what was provided. Very much an apartment for a single person. Bathroom was very compact. Bed could only be accessed from one long side. No lounge type chair to sit on.
The instructions to enter the unit were misleading. The text talked about a touch screen etc - but it was a locked box on the garage wall in an obscure location.
- Colin (10/5): It’s the perfect setup - Everything
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (10/5): Great location, everything to hand will definitely stay here again and have booked already! - Convenience of location to TAFE course, will be staying again for sure. Has everything I needed for my stay.
- Julian (10/5): Absolutely excellent! - Great little property with everything you need in it! Wish it had a washing machine but it was no major issue!
- Bjorn (5/5): Good for eat sleep repeat that’s about all - Easy check in Toilets stink the whole time.
Unfriendly signs in room

- Fabienne (9/5): Superb -
- Birtukan (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet and clean. You have everything that you need. Perfect for a short stay :))
- Ryan (10/5): Impressed. - I stay with these guys 6 weeks ago.
It is absolute gem! Read the instructions and it’s very easy. However one simple phone call and everything made sense for me “ this was my first time staying with a private stay”. The place is perfect, the kitchen has everything. I was able to cook up bacon and eggs every morning and steak and veggies for dinner whilst watching movies on the tv. Very clean and tidy, the hosts seem quite kind and generous. Honestly, I loved the short stay and I highly recommend to anyone and everyone. Also, it’s a hell of a lot cheaper then hotels in the city.
Thanks heaps to the hosts!
Regards, Ryan. Nothing to be honest.
- Ruby (10/5): Perfect in every way - Such a perfect place with everything you need. Such a comfy bed too I wish there was a big broom as the floor got very sandy (but we also didn’t ask the owners for one so that could have been our fault!)
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Muhamed (9/5): Superb -
- Hazel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (5/5): Passable -
