• Rashidova (10/5): - I was booking this place for my mom and little sister, abd they told that i did the best choice cause the location was amazing, everything was close and there’s well connected public transportation 🙏🏻 Landlord was always available and explaining everything when i texted him. • Ekaterina (6/5): - The apartment has basic amenities: a fridge, kettle, and a hairdryer (although weak). The bathroom and toilet were generally clean. Our room faced the inner yard, which helped reduce some of the street noise. The apartment is very small; mine was on the ground floor with bars on the windows. There is a “no shoes” rule, but it’s unclear how to follow it when the building is available easily from the street and you only have one pair — my mother was even stopped and asked to take them off. Very poor soundproofing: constant noise outside, including drunk shouting. People kept ringing our doorbell (first apartment) all the time, and at one point drunk neighbors were banging on the door at 4 AM. No clear instructions on how to find the place — arriving with suitcases and guessing the building from photos was stressful. The bathroom window doesn’t close properly, lets in cold air, and made the room very cold — we even got sick. The air conditioner doesn’t work in winter, and dust/sand blows out of it due to wind, making it hard to sleep. The bed is about 140 cm wide — smaller than it looks in photos.

I do NOT recommend it. It doesn’t wort it even if it is for free. The smell was also horrible. I don’t know from where this high rating comes.

• Katia (10/5): - The room is very comfortable and has everything you need. We stayed there for 2 nights, not for long, and for such a stay this apartment is perfect. There were no issues with check-in or the keys. The hosts are very friendly and sincere, they helped with everything right away and responded to all requests immediately.
• Iryna (6/5): Not a bad apartment because of the location, but it could be cleaner - Location was good, tram station located near apartment. Apartment located in first floor and you hear all that do you neighbours and people on street. Little bit dirty, The faut in the kitchen was spilling and the kettle was broken
• Binur (3/5): Bad experience - The apartment was nothing like described. The actual size was much smaller than stated, the sink was tiny and very uncomfortable to use, and the shower head was placed too low — it was especially inconvenient for our tall friend. The sofa didn’t look like it could be unfolded, and the host never mentioned such a function, so our friend couldn’t fit on it properly. There was almost no soundproofing: we could hear everything from the neighbors — footsteps, someone eating in the middle of the night, and flushing toilets. The area itself is noisy, but the sounds inside the building made it even worse. We only managed to stay one night and had to look for another place. The host refused to give us a refund, even partially, though we asked for at least half back. Later, I read other reviews and realized I was not the only one who experienced these issues.
• Victoria (10/5): Wir kommen wieder! - Die Wohnung war getreu den Bildern schön eingerichtet und erfüllte unsere Erwartungen. Besonders gut fanden wir, dass es zwei voneinander getrennte, abschließbare Zimmer gab. Wir mochten vor allem die Lage der Unterkunft, von welcher aus wir schnell zu Fuß oder mit der Straßenbahn alle Sehenswürdigkeiten oder Restaurants und Bars erreichen konnten. Wir haben uns als Frauen auch nachts sicher in der Gegend gefühlt. Leider hat es in der Wohnung nach Rauch gerochen, kann aber auch von den vorherigen Urlaubern gewesen sein.

• Jenny (7/5): In your instruction to go to your address you can add additional photo of the gate and number of building. - The room is nice, clean and close to the Galata Tower and Port. Besides that, it is also close to convenience stores and restaurants. We stayed there for 3 nights. We didn't sleep well because of the noise. You could hear footsteps on the 2nd floor. You could hear children playing in the middle of the night. Adults talking even though I couldn't understand them. In short, the room was not soundproof.
• Ilya (5/5): Tiny kitchen-less apartment, but in the historic center of Istanbul - Responsive, young host and the location of the apartment right by the Galata Tower. In the description it says that the apartment has an area of 45 meters, but in reality no more than 30. It was very cramped for three people. It was also announced a kitchen - for me it is fundamental as allergic child needs to cook home-cooked food. Kitchen - there is, but the dishes are dirty, with broken handles, and on the stove works only one burner. If you are looking for the center of Istanbul, if there are only two of you and you won't be cooking for yourself, this apartment is a good option. Otherwise, look for something else.

The apartment is located on the ground floor of the house, it has almost 30 square meters, half as much as advertised, the furniture is quite old, the kitchen is old and very small with dirty and old dishes, the bathroom has a small sink above which there is a mirror, so you can't talk or even wash your hands. For 9 days of stay, we received 3 towels and 1 toilet paper from the host.
• Gesthimani (10/5): The best value for money reservation on booking - Everything was exceptional, the room was clean, the bed and sofa comfortable, and the location was indeed perfect. The owner was very nice and hospitable, we felt very welcome. If we ever come back to Istanbul, we would definitely stay there again. Great value for money. There wasn't much toilet paper but when we asked for more, the owner brought us some immediately.
