(shame on you bookings dot com) - Nothing We booked this place for 11th - 14th May 2026, and we had such a bad experience during the stay. 1. No Elevator, difficult to carry luggage to the 2nd floor. 15 - 20 steps in a very narrow staircase 2. Room is Small 3. Not clean and Bugs everywhere 4. TV Not working 5. Heater Not working 6. Shared Toilet was Not Clean 7. Discounted rate shown BUT, charged in FULL at the payment check out Even though we booked this room for three Nights, we left the place after just two nights, very very very disappointed. So, the bookings dot com website has done the error here by showing discounted rate (GBP 135) and collected full charge (GBP 155). I have attached relevant screenshots, before and after pay money. This Discounted incentive made me end up with such a Bad Loss of GBP 155. NOT WORTH AT ALL. As a reputed booking website, you also need to be responsible about such Hotel owners who do the business like this. Shame on you bookings dot com. I would have used AGODA instead.

Lo único positivo fue la señora de limpieza que nos atendió que no sabía que ibamos. No hay Internet, la tv no funciona, hay cortinas rotas, la pared toda sucias, el colchón vencido. El barrio no es agradable hay un borracho con una mujer en los pasillos. Una muy mala experiencia y es muy caro a lo que es el alojamiento. No lo recomendamos

Ich musste sofort stornieren. ​Die Reaktion des Vermieters war eine Frechheit: Keine Entschuldigung, kein Einsehen. Er behält jetzt mein Geld ein und weigert sich, den vollen Betrag zurückzuerstatten, obwohl das Zimmer unbewohnbar war. ​Bucht hier auf keinen Fall! Das ist Scam! When I arrived, the room was covered in mold, which is a serious health hazard. I had to cancel immediately. ​Not only was the room disgusting, but the host's behavior was incredibly unprofessional. He didn't even apologize for the situation. To make matters worse, he is refusing to give me a full refund and is withholding my money for a room that was literally unlivable. ​Avoid this place at all costs!
• joel (5/5): Chambre pratique pour une courte étape entre deux trains, sans plus. - La proximité de la gare de King"s cross, raison essentielle de notre séjour d'une nuit. La possibilité de se préparer le déjeuner avec la cuisine mise à disposition. The proximity to King's Cross station was the main reason for our one-night stay. The option to prepare lunch in the available kitchen was also a plus. La salle de bain doit être rénovée, la pomme de douche bon marché fuit. La propreté est assez moyenne dans les toilettes et la papier manquait. L'ensemble semble assez mal entretenu. Devoir sonner pour pouvoir entrer dans l'immeuble, c'est assez inquiétant, on ne sait jamais si on rentre un peu tard si quelqu'un va nous ouvrir. Par ailleurs l'environnement de King's cross est assez mal fréquenté c'est un point à savoir. The bathroom needs renovating; the cheap shower head leaks. The toilets are only so-so, and there was no toilet paper. The whole place seems rather poorly maintained. Having to ring the bell to get into the building is quite unsettling; you never know if someone will answer if you arrive a little late. Also, the area around King's Cross has a rather rough reputation, which is something to be aware of.

• Kin Seng (7/5): - Location was near where I wanted to go to, was sent detailed instructions on how to check in beforehand. Place was overall relatively clean and well-heated. Check in instructions may be slightly outdated. The main entrance to the Ritson House accommodation block no longer has a functional electronic lock, so you don't press any call bell to be let in, but instead the door is open and you just push in. You then go up the flight(s) of stairs and find your flat and room respectively - the electronic locks for the flat and the room are working. Next to street so can hear passing ambulances but this is not frequent. The shower - there is a shower head but it doesn't seem to work (I couldn't find a way to activate it). Instead there are two taps for the bath (hot and cold water, respectively) - these do work.

• Stephanie (10/5): Easily accessible with clean facilities - easy to access, clean bathroom and bedroom. Had a fridge outside in the hallway if any food needed to be stored temporarily. Transport wasn’t too bad when getting to an from central as well, since there was a bus stop that was nearby and another that wasn’t too far of a walk The front door to the actual flat and the door to the entrance of the main building didn’t actually lock so that was concerning, but the door for our room did lock so at least that was reassuring. Still cause for concern but other than that everything seemed fine

• Remi Andrieux (8/5): Très bon rapport qualité prix ! - La proximité de la Gare de King Cross - St Pancras et donc du métro (10mn à pied), l'excellente communication avec Matt, surtout lors d'une situation exceptionnelle compliquée (inondation du quartier suite à rupture de canalisation et coupure d'électricité consécutives), l'autonomie d'accès à l'appartement et à notre chambre. Commerces à proximité immédiate.me rapport qualité prix imbattable (280€ les 5 nuits à 3 en centre de Londres) Appartement vieillissant méritant un entretien plus poussé et une petite rénovation (traces d'infiltration dans la chambre et dans la salle de bain, portes de cuisine dégondées). Malheureusement, la propreté des parties communes est tributaire des autres hôtes, nous n'avons pas les mêmes attentes, pourtant tout est mis à disposition pour nettoyer derrière soi !

Communicative host, clean, safe, no issues. A bit small and a shared bathroom but this wasn't a problem for us and worth it for the value.

• Muhammad (9/5): Very good customer service with value for money room - Definitely value for money. Staff is amazing, helped with parking situation around the area. Easy process in and out. Small minor things to work on in the room we was staying in, however for the money we paid definitely was worth it. Heating was constantly on, couldn't adjust the temperature due to the knob broken, and a singular piece of the spine on the upper bunk bed was broken but didn't cause an issue at all.

La reparación se realizó con tornillos en madera agrietada, lo que nos hizo sentir incómodos. Además, dejaron un tornillo suelto en el suelo, lo que supuso un riesgo para la seguridad. En general, la situación no se resolvió .

• Paula (6/5): Buena ubicacion - La ubicacion era muy buena. Para empezar el sistema de entrada a la habitacion. Era una cerradura digital con un codigo de seguridad, la cual no tenia bateria la primer noche que llegamos y no podiamos entrar con mis dos hijos pequeños. La chica de limpieza nos consigio una bateria y pudimos entrar. La segunda noche ya no era la bateria nada mas, sino que no funcionaban todos los numeros y no se podia poner el codigo para entrar. Estuvimos 1 hora y media afuera esperando y la unica respuesta que tenia del anfitrion era que siga probando el codigo. Un desastre. Faltaban abrigos de cama, habia humedad en los espacios comunes y mucho olor a podrido en toda la cocina que daba al lado de nuestra habitacion (numero 1). Es recomendable para una o dos noches ya que tampoco hay espacio para colgar ropa en ningun lado ni armario ni sillas comodas, solo banquetas.

• Imanol (10/5): - Está muy céntrico y bien comunicado, con la estación de King' Cross Sant Pancras, desde la cual puedes moverte a cualquier punto de Londres tanto en metro como en tren, y tiene varias líneas, la zona de Islington tiene de todo, restaurantes, tiendas, todo muy cerca y accesible. Un acierto! Todo fué genial.
• Mei (7/5): 7/10 - Room was clean, although not en-suite but toilets were clean too. Facilities were great including kitchen with hob and pots for those who like to cook. To my surprise, this place also have washing machines and dryer. A little expensive for the room, it ain't en-suite but still cost us almost £100 a night, location was okay but still pretty long walk from King's Cross Station (20 minutes walk). I was not given instructions until I arrived at the apartment and had to phone the staff. However, the staff answered the phone in just a few tries, and sent me the detailed instructions real quick. Overall, I am satisfied with their service.

• KARINE (6/5): - L'hôtel est proche de la station king cross et de St Pancréas. Il y a des arrêts de bus a proximité. Le quartier est multi communautaires avec des petits restaurants sympa. La literie était confortable. La salle de bain est partagée, elle est pleine de.moisissures sur les joints. Elle ne fait pas clean. C’est le gros point noir de l'hôtel.

• Miłosz (1/5): Koszmar! - To był najgorszy nocleg, jaki kiedykolwiek mieliśmy. Nie spaliśmy prawie całą noc. My i nasze dzieci bały się tam zostać i musieliśmy uciec już po pierwsze nocy (planowaliśmy 3). To był koszmar! Na samym początku na klatce schodowej "przywitali nas" narkomani. Później było już tylko gorzej. Przez całą noc słychać było wrzaski, trzaskanie drzwiami i rzucanie przedmiotami. Wszędzie było brudno i niebezpiecznie. Na korytarzu unosił się dym od narkotyków. Nikomu tego nie polecam.

Hea hinna ja kvaliteedi suhe kui otsid taskukohast peatumiskohta. Olemas ka köök kui soov süüa teha. Peatun kindlasti järgmisel korral ka samas kohas kui see on vaba. Ühel korrusel on 3 tuba, mis annab võimaluse ühel seltskonnal koos reisida. Puhtuse osas ehk annab veidi soovida, samas midagi otseselt ei häirinud ka. Voodi nari oli veidi ebakindel ja jäi mulje, et üleval magaja ei tohi väga rapsida, sest muidu läheb voodi katki.

• Jessica (4/5): Cheap, but you get what you pay for - Very affordable price, and digital locks made an otherwise sketchy building feel a little bit more secure. Shared bathroom and kitchen facilities were quite disgusting, containing a lot of broken appliances and mould throughout the building. Balcony door in the bedroom did not lock and we were unable to turn the heater off the whole time, so the room was very warm.

Probablement du aux autres personnes dans le logement qui ne sont pas habituées a partager des lieux communs. Les joints du carrelage de la baignoire ne sont pas propre. Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas de table dans la cuisine. Le lit double n'était pas confortable et la couette beaucoup trop petite pour deux.

• Laura (2/5): Awful - At first I thought it was a good location, but this is in a council block estate. It is so not what is advertised on the website, this ‘hotel’ is actually located in a council estate in a block and you are essentially staying in someone’s house which doesn’t not feel safe at all. There are so many flights of stairs to get up and a really narrow hallway. As soon as I arrived I had to wait 20 minutes to get in as the code wasn’t working. Then to go into this awful ‘hotel’. I knew I could not stay here and would not feel safe. Then to top it all off a cockroach came out from underneath the bed, so I left immediately and had to find last minute expensive accommodation late at night.

• Inma (1/5): Espantoso - La ubicación para llegar al centro de Londres en bus inmejorable Todo, el edificio daba asco, la habitación las camas pésimas, la litera las laminas rotas, parecía que iba a caer de arriba, la ventanas no cierran bien y entraba aire frío, los enchufes con cinta, se puede mejorar para el espacio reducido que es. El WC arriba de las escaleras estrechas sin barandilla, siempre ocupado y al lado de la habitación zona común de cocina con lavadora ruidosa. La verdad me lo esperaba mejor. Muy cutre todo aunque no esperaba mucho por el precio no es lugar para familias

• Sean (8/5): Great value and would use again - The room was spot on great value for money. Only 15 mins walk from kings Cross train station along the canal. The cleaning wasn't done before we arrived. Cleaners turned up five mins after check in time but they were on the other hand very helpful and worked around us. Had to contact london rooms to chase info on how to obtain access as I wasn't informed.

• Emily (8/5): Great value for money, I would stay again. - It was great value for money. It was clean, had everything that I needed for a short stay and the host was excellent. His messages were responsive and detailed. The only thing I can say is that the other guests were quite noisy but that’s nothing to do with the host, and there are signs in the property requesting people to be quiet past a certain time.

• ESİN ZELAL (9/5): Londra’da konaklama için güzel bir yer - Çalışanlar çok ilgiliydi. Neye ihtiyacımız olduysa iletişime geçtiğimizde hemen karşıladılar. Tam fiyat performans yeriydi. Tavsiye ederim. Tesisle ilgili olumsuz bir şey yaşamadık. Yalnızca ortak banyo wc olduğundan dolayı diğer konaklayanların temiz tutmaması durumu oldu.

• Clémence (7/5): Matt est réactif, les informations concernant le logement sont explicites. Des améliorations sont à revoir pour optimise - Matt est facilement joignable, répond très rapidement. Les informations d’accès aux logements sont très explicites. Il y a des améliorations à faire dans la chambre : - les rideaux laissent passer le jour, il est préférable de mettre des rideaux occultants pour un meilleur confort - il y a une vitre au dessus de la porte, donnant sur le couloir. Les lumières n’étant pas systématiquement éteintes cela est gênant durant la nuit. Il est préférable de rajouter un rideau occultant au dessus de cette porte - chambre bruyante, on entend énormément la route et les passants
