- Zachary (7/5): Great location, beautiful views, helpful staff... but there are many options in Playa Hermosa. - The location was great! We had amazing views of the ocean and the Playa Hermosa bay from our living room and veranda. The shuttle was very convenient and got us around the property quickly. The beach is absolutely beautiful and we were able to watch the sunset from our beach chairs! The staff was very helpful and responsive. We had a couple issues and they had people correcting those issues within 10 minutes. The villa itself was pretty nice. It was spacious and bright. The amenities in the villa were helpful (full kitchen, beach towels, etc.). We were within a 10 minute drive to anywhere in Playa Hermosa and about 15-20 minutes to anywhere in Coco. Overall, the property appears to be in need of a large-scale refresh - many roof tiles are broken or missing or discolored, and there were a number of smaller maintenance items that need to be addressed. None of these items negatively impacted our stay much - it was just a general observation. The checkout process was different. We had to call when we were ready to checkout and someone from Housekeeping had to walk through the villa, counting silverware, dishes, towels, etc. to make sure we didn't steal anything - that was a little awkward.
