• SARAH (9/5): Sensational apartment - The whole package. Cannot fault the place. Exceptional. Weirdly had the owners text us whilst staying at the property asking if we had guests over. This was at 4pm in the afternoon and we had stopped at the apartment before heading to dinner. Weirdly invasive, particularly when not against the terms and conditions. Be mindful the owners will be watching you as they live upstairs.

• Mal (9/5): Overall a pleasant comfy stay in a great location for exploring the Newcastle city coastline. - Well located near various transport options, and nice and clean. Also quite spacious, and the view was good. Reasonable value for money. The complimentary 2 bottles of wine from the hosts was a nice touch, and appreciated by us. The nearby recommendations for food and groceries in the compendium were useful. Only minor observations! Personally would reduce the superfluous ornaments and decorations on shelves and flat surfaces to allow more places to put your stuff. Bathroom lighting is not fantastic, and ideally could be brighter. Checkout was set for 11am, which we adhered to. A noon checkout would have been preferred, although we understand the owners need to ensure sufficient time to clean before the next occupant.

• Sandy (9/5): - Beautiful apartment in a great location. Great kitchen with all you could need and bed was very comfortable. Parking was easier than anticipated. More quiet than expected also. Lighting was too dark in bathrooms. Shaving mirror light didn’t work

• WendyMaso (10/5): - This apartment is amazing! Beautifully designed and furnished it has everything you need for a great stay. The location is perfect, across the road from the harbour and close to so many great restaurants and cafes. Can highly recommend Humbug for dinner and Bolton St Bakery for breakfast. Access is so easy with code entry and lift to your front door, literally and the welcome basket was a nice touch. The hosts have also thoughtfully ensured the pantry is stocked with all the essentials. There is nothing not to like about this property.

• Jan (10/5): Home away from home! Luxury all the away! - High end finishes in the apartment and no expense spared on the furnishings! Luxury all around! We were lucky it was available for the period we stayed in Newcastle! We were able to check out a bit later which meant we could go to the airport from the apartment direct. It's even dog friendly if your pooches are travelling with you! I could not find anything I didn't like, the hosts have decked out the apartment with everything you would need to stay one day or a week.

Everything felt luxurious from the bed linen and super comfy beds to the well appointed kitchen. Lots of space and a stunning view. We had such a lovely weekend and felt very spoiled, thank you.
