Guest Reviews
- Robyn (9/5): Beautiful cottage in pretty neighbourhood. - Quiet location, very attractive locality, beautiful house, generous size. Although mini-bar was useful for tea and coffee, the fridge was in the other room, and there was no microwave.
Only other useful addition would be a couple of luggage racks, as there was plenty of room, and would save scrabbling through our belongings on the floor.
Couch might benefit from a couple more cushions, as it slopes back.

- Robert (7/5): Great location great staff. A few upgrades required but would definitely stay again. - Location space The fan had a banging noise on high. The mini fridge was loud every time a motor kicked in and it was extremely small. There was no microwave nor was there a sink to wash ur dishes. But very minor and we worked around these issues. Also the spare blankets need to be updated. They are rough and itchy.
- Nicola (10/5): - Very comfortable and clean, great location in quiet street but still close to beach and restaurants. Nothing to not like
- Matt (10/5): - From the moment we stepped inside we knew we'd found a little gem. The cottage is beautifully furnished and well appointed for a longer stay. There's space for luggage etc without cluttering the overall aesthetic. Lissanure is a perfect distance from the white sanded beaches of Grange & Henley, with good connections to the city from the nearby train & bus stops.

- Tracey (9/5): Enjoyable! - It was easy to locate and access. It had everything we needed. Loved the extra towels.... although we did not need them this trip.... so lovely to have them available. The toilet needs attention as it continues to run water....
The little fridges door needs tightening... it has dropped and doesn't close/seal properly. Which it continues to run.
The TV is difficult to operate the controls.
Otherwise, well done you.
Just because I have an injury... I should have checked the images better before I booked... but the steps were a bit of an issue for me. May I suggest a hand rail, just to feel secure when entering and exiting the property. I know not everyone would need it but just a safety aspect.
However, thank you Louise, we enjoyed our stay xxxx

- Mandy (10/5): - Louise was the perfect host. The accommodation was lovely and clean and so close to the beach. Coffee shops. Restaurants etc.
- Vicki (5/5): Unfortunately wasn’t the best place for us but Louise is lovely - Short walk to beach, easy to find, Louise seems to be a great hostess No air conditioner, no TV in bedroom, no instant coffee, and something in the cleaning or air freshener set my partners asthma off so we had to leave at 2:30 in the morning

- Tanya (9/5): A cozy home-away-from-home. - Just a short walk to the Grange jetty, beach and beachfront cafes, and short drive into the Adelaide CBD, this quaint little cottage embraces you as a welcome guest in a loving family home. The neighbourhood is friendly, safe and full of the laughter of children. Such a contrast to cold, stale hotels. I left feeling grounded and refreshed, and will definitely be back!

- Rowan (1/5): - The location was good. I booked with the owner and explained that it would be my son and I staying so we would need two beds. That was fine. Then my wife also came to stay at the last minute. No extra beds were used of course. But because the owner could spy on us with her camera on the front door, she has demanded we pay an additional $200 for the third person.

- Mandeep (10/5): Exceptional -
- Douglas (9/5): Louise is a great host and responded promptly to any queries. - Great location, close to beach, and short walk to the train station with direct link to the city. Clean and comfortable. We weren’t sure about recycling - maybe a bit of guidance on what is expected?
- Egenia (9/5): Superb -
- Bill (9/5): Superb - Self-contained and close to the beach and cafes. Perfect for a couple. Make sure you ask about the unique front rock wall...😁
- Dojcsak (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberly (9/5): Stunning cottage in a perfect location - Cosy and comfortable cottage with excellent attention to detail. Clearly a lot of care is put into managing this accommodation. In a nice quiet street but still very close to cafes and beach at Grange.
- Tess (9/5): Perfect location, close to the beach, around the corner from family, all very easy and comfortable. - Locations was perfect for our needs. Beach and close to family It would have been great to have some optional pillows. The pillows provided were too high for me.
- Sally (8/5): We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The property owner was very friendly and helpful. - Location suited us perfectly - close to the ocean and railway station (both walking distance) for easy train trip to Adelaide.
Comfortable cottage rooms. The accommodation was well-priced. Grange does not have any grocery stores for milk and basic essentials and as we like to self cater this made it more difficult. There are plenty of cafes though and a bakery.
- Gayle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Debra (10/5): Fabulous stay - highly recommend. - Location was fabulous. Was really nice area to stay. Nil
- Louise (10/5): Relaxing, accomodating, great location - Simplistic yet everything you need for a little getaway. Staff were so accomodating and attentive to any request Nil
- Andrea (9/5): We really enjoyed staying at this cottage and Louise’s breakfast was divine! She is a very helpful host too. - The cottage is very close to the beach, with great cafes and shops nearby.
The cottage is tastefully decorated and comfortable.
The breakfast was amazing and Louise is very helpful!
It’s in a lovely quiet area and we would stay here again. A little table for outside with the chairs, would enhance the comfort of the cottage.
- Suzanne (9/5): Highly recommended- we would definitely rebook. - The location was fabulous and everything was beautiful and well maintained. The owner went above expectations in making everything comfortable and supplying everything needed. It’s a wonderful cottage but as there is no kitchen perhaps just a toaster and small microwave wld make an extended stay more flexible.
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (10/5): Excellent short stay - Amazing host ,fabulous communication, everything you need , will definitely stay again
- Elizabeth (10/5): A beautiful little cottage close to the beach and cafes and 10 mins walk to the train. Louise the host messaged me a few - Location for the beach and train to Adelaide.
Cleanliness and facilities.
Communication from the host.
The little extras that were provided. Nothing. It was perfect for me. If staying for longer a microwave would be useful, but for 2 days I had everything I needed.
- Watt (10/5): An idealic cottage in convenient location. Home away from home. - Loved the location and layout of cottage. Had everything you could need for a stay and lovely quality products and inclusions. Bed was super comfortable and linen beautiful. A beautiful breakfast and green smoothie made a lovely start to my last morning. Nothing!
- Joanne (9/5): Superb -
- Phelan (9/5): Superb - Location was excellent easy walk to cafes and bars.
- John (10/5): Simply, perfect!! - Great location. Very comfortable space. Host was beyond amazing!! Would love to return one day. Limited kitchen space and amenities, however, we managed to make that work.
- Ann (8/5): Pleasant property, clean and very well presented! - The property was lovely, close to shops, walking distance to the beach front & quiet...
Beautiful toiletries and plentiful.
Tea and coffee etc supplies were lovely!
Very secure & safe.
Plenty of hanging and cupboard space. The tea & coffee etc facilities would be better if it was moved to the sitting room out of the bedroom, would be very simple to do.
The couch is terribly uncomfortable (feel like you are constantly sliding off it) we tried re 'making' it :(
Fans were sufficient for us but in summer I think it'd be much too hot with no air conditioning.
Definitely stay again but not in summer.
Car parking was only on the street.
Shower had a pretty nasty leak :(
- Sean (9/5): Excellent host and property. Very comfortable and would stay again. -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely, comfortable accommodation in a great spot. The owner, Louise, was lovely to deal with and very thoughtful. A very kind soul. Home from Home
- Lisa (8/5): Peaceful stay - Quaint, close to where we needed to be Car parking on street non-preferred but was a quiet street & neighbourhood
- Noeleen (10/5): I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and will recommend to family and friends. - I liked everything about my stay. The cottage is beautiful and cosy. Louise is a wonderful host and provided very well plus just that little bit more. I can’t think of anything I disliked. There is absolutely nothing to complain about.
- Janet (10/5): Lovely accommodation close to family - Accommodation was great for 1 person. Nothing. All was great.
- Gwyneth (5/5): Passable - Nice cottage Electric broke down, no heating or hot drinks, shower went cold after couple of minutes.
- Michael (10/5): Fantastic - What a great place! Terrific location, excellent facilities, and a super-friendly host. I will definitely stay again the next time I visit Adelaide!
- Linda (10/5): would highly recommend this beautiful quaint cottage. - The cottage was perfect for a short stay, great location, has a warm energy, easy walk to catch the sunsets and a bite to eat. The pickup from the airport was an unexpected bonus and the breakfast omelet was very much appreciated. Louise is a pleasure to deal with.
- Ray (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ingram (10/5): Delightful, clean, very comfortable place, easy walk to cafes, Grange beach & Jetty - The host is delightful. Unobtrusive but available if we had needed her. The cottage is gorgeous outside and inside, and welcoming, with a good ''feel", tasteful furniture, furnishings etc. The bed is soooo comfortable!. The cottage just feels loved by its owner and you can add me to the 'LOVE IT' list now too. Can't wait to return to Adelaide and stay here. My son and his partner, both in their early 30's said " WOW, this is gorgeous" when they visited. I'm mid-60's and obviously adore it too - it appeals to a range of ages. Thank you so much Louise.
BTW, I've never met Louise before, I'm just a very happy first-time guest. Pam No 'didn't likes' (except leaving)!
- Ute (10/5): A little gem in Grange - Loved everything. Cosy and comfortable. Well appointed. The sofa was the only thing.
- Debbie (10/5): Fabulous place, perfect location! - Great location. Cute property with 2 rooms and big shower room. Louise provided coffee, teas, water, milk and sugar. There was a coffee machine and kettle and little fridge. Great toiletries too! Nothing was too much trouble. Nothing
- Steph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tricia (7/5): Good - Location was very handy to shops, beach and direct through to the CBD without any hassles. I though the property was bigger not a half house but it was clean and comfortable. A microwave would have been handy.
- Rod (10/5): Exceptional - All was as described above. Louise, the proprietor couldn't have been more helpful. She is just great. I can't think of anything. It's close to the beach and food outlets, everything you need. A train station is close by which also makes for convenience.
- Scott (9/5): Step back in time and breath - We loved our stay. Walking through the front door into your own cottage oasis. The rooms were large and airy. Everything was clean and fresh. Large walk-in wardrobe so no living out of suitcases. Bathroom large with overhead heating. Lounge nice and comfy great for relaxing at end of day. Fridge well stocked with fresh milk and water, plenty of pod coffee (yummy) variety of teas and scrumptious muesli. Although minor the bed was nice and firm but could benefit from the addition of a topper - personal choice
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natasha (8/5): Very good - Exceptional service and felt very welcomed.
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad -
- David (10/5): Sublime - The owner, was extremely accommodating, property is lovely, clean and perfectly positioned The Location
