• Ron (10/5): Fabulous stay - could not have been better. - This is a fabulous property right on the Grand Canal with its own pontoon and private patio on the canal. Marta the owner and host met us at the property - we were able to take a water taxi from the train station and be dropped at the pontoon - which made handling the luggage through Venice so much easier. Marta is a wonderful host and gave us a thorough briefing about the apartment and the appliances etc. The apartment has been beautifully renovated and is spacious with air-conditioning and beautiful bathrooms. It is better than the photos. The location is perfect - it is on the other side of the canal from St Mark's Square but right next to Academia Bridge - so it is not as busy - but the bridge is only 50 meters away so easy to join all the tourists and walk to St Mark's. There is a restaurant/cafe/bar next door to the apartment and supermarket only few minutes away. Nothing negative to report

Very quiet at night. When leaving the house you step right into the heart of academia. Location and quality of the home is amazing.

Walking through the beautiful street with bridges, canals, quaint shops and delicious restaurants. A wonderful experience and it all started with my first contact with the owner who answered all my questions quickly. Thank you it was a pleasure staying at your property. Leaving. We stayed 4 nights and felt we needed much more time.

To be so close to Accademia Bridge was handy. Bright interiors, comfy furniture and beds ( no tired old furniture) . Loved having our own private dock. The host is a professional. She and her team meet you when you arrive and respond quickly when you have a question. After traveling through Italy for 3 weeks, we loved having a washer/dryer for our clothes and a workable dishwasher. Nice appliances, dishes and wine glasses. Best of all not packed with “stuff”. Having to leave.

• Sophia (10/5): Great location. Clean, comfortable stay with a well-equipped kitchen. Will come again! - Marta and her assistant took very nice care of us. The apartment is very comfortable, spacious, and clean. The kitchen is perfect for cooking, and equipped with a dishwasher as well. The two bathrooms make it ideal for couples or families traveling together, and the location cannot be beaten. Beds are very comfortable, but one bedroom has a double bed made up of two twins, so there is a small gap to be aware of if you're a couple traveling together. All in all it's a fantastic apartment in an incredible location. Totally worth it, and we'll definitely come again! There are several fees in the case of late check in which are not listed on the booking.com website, and I would suggest adding these to prepare the guests so they can organize their travel arrangements accordingly.
