Guest Reviews
- Pavlos (10/5): Best Apartment Ever - It was a fantastic apartment, very clean, the host chris is very welcoming. 5 start AAA Once I am in Geelong in the future, I will definitely be staying there again.

- Timea (9/5): grateful to stay despite the circumstances - good atmosphere around the neighbourhood and great facilities :) my dog unfortunately passed during our stay and i appreciated that we were comfortable and safe during such a traumatic event

- Marnie (9/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): -
- Guadalupe (6/5): Good but could be better if they clean - It had a nice backyard area for the dog, it was spacious and nice Everything smelled like pee. I understand it’s pet friendly but it should be clean. I was never truly comfortable because it always felt like I was on top of dog pee. If they’re gonna charge so much at least pay for proper cleaners.
- Jennifer (8/5): -
- Joy (8/5): - Neat and well presented., with lovely personal touches that helped make our stay very comfortable
- Anderson (6/5): -

- Tammy (10/5): The accommodation was perfect for what I needed it for and it was pet friendly which meant I was able to bring my two do - How is was pet friendly Nothing it was perfect
- Russell (10/5): Exceptional - The relaxing vibe about this place There wasn't anything I disliked about this place
- Clifford (9/5): Superb - The location to the training centre The cold house, with one tiny heater.
- Cathy (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place, bigger than I thought it would be. Breakfast that was supplied was a nice touch. There are six steps up to the front porch, which made getting things in a bit difficult. We had one of us stand at the top, taking things from the other at the bottom after climbing 2 steps up. The car park seems a bit far and too open for my liking. The coffee that was supplied was with a pod machine, which is fine if I knew how to work one. Maybe instructions on how to use it would be helpful.
- Laity (8/5): Very good - Chris was super helpful and provided photos as well as written instructions which were very clear. Chris provided some breakfast supplies which helped us get on our way and go sight-seeing instead of finding places to eat. house was clean and well equipped.

- Aly (8/5): Very good - It was really nice to be able to bring the dog along for no extra charge. Self check-in was very easy and instructions were clear. We would definitely stay here again. I was expecting a little more in the breakfast department if I'm honest. What was there was nice, but maybe only enough for 1 person.
- Lee (10/5): Brooks at Norlane - Property was very clean. Basic food supplies were provided for breakfast, including milk, eggs, cereal, bread roll and preserves, which was so welcome after a long trip. It would have been better for us if we had a hire car, but didn't affect our stay at Brooks.
- Colleen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Craig (9/5): Superb -
- Trevor (8/5): Very good - Nice set up
- John (8/5): Very good -
- David (8/5): Loved the facility. Loved the location. Loved the concept. Thank you Chris. - Great place to stay for people travelling with pets.
Would recommend this "doggy lodge" to anyone heading to Geelong. Wasn't too keen on pets sleeping indoors - not something we do.
A lot of the night was spent concerned about pet "accidents" on carpets and flooring.
A patio or back verandah with yard access would have made the stay perfect.
- David (9/5): Seeing our Mum in Geelong and taking the ferry to Geelong. Really convenient location for us and a comfortable place to - Really functional and well appointed with what we need for a short stay. Great location for us too to see our mother in a nearby health care facility and close to great eats in West Geelong Property has necessary items and everything works well. No issues for us.
- Dhananjay (8/5): Very good -
- Damon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hutchinson (7/5): Good - An interesting layout but very comfortable. Good location The window in the bedroom made a hell of a racket with the strong winds we were experiencing, sleep was almost impossible. The storms were severe but I think the windows need replacing.
- Tracy (8/5): Very good -
- Louis (8/5): very good - well presented needed table spoons in the cutlery draw
- Dana (7/5): Comfortable and dog friendly - It was neat and comfortable, the host very welcoming and dog friendly
- Monika (10/5): Exceptional - It was very homely. We were very comfortable. Convenient to buses. My daughters house was 5 minutes away. Geelong cbd only 15 minutes approximately.

- Anne (9/5): I would recommend this place for a short stay, close to Geelong and dog friendly. - Everything supplied for breakfast. Fridge stocked with bread, butter, jam etc. all we needed was included. The hostess was lovely and helpful. The dogs were happy and had a nice yard to play in. It suited our purpose for staying in the area. Thank you Chris. I couldn’t get the air conditioners to work, so used a fan. It was probably user problem, but we got by. I am not very tech savvy!
- David (5/5): Passable - Stains on carpet in lounge & carpet damage
Shower rose falling down while having Shower
Noisy water pipes when other unit using water
Lounge furniture very uncomfortable & cheap
One lounge chair very loose
- Amanda (2/5): Not worth the money - Good fenced yard for the dogs. TV and netflix. Air con in lounge, pantry items, park down the road. Host was friendly Multiple large stains in carpet, holes in screen door, sagging innerspring mattress.
- Mohammod (8/5): Very good - It was very nice and quiet. It's showering head is not holp up properly. When kid were trying shower heads always get down.
- Francisco (10/5): Excellent for a quiet, affordable and fussle-free stay. - Clear instructions to get in. Host was responsive by sms. The place was ample and details like breakfast stuff were caringly taken care of.
- Vasilios (7/5): Good -
- Felicity (8/5): Clean, comfortable, easy access, everything we needed was on hand - Breakfast looked great but with the very long working hours and having to depart early the looking forward to Breakfast on Monay morning had to be missed. Maybe a hand rail on the right side of the stairs. It is a bit hard to grab the left hand one until you actually get up onto the stairs.
- Janine (8/5): Very good - all was well the couch - could be a little more comfortable
- Joanne (8/5): Had a great stay. Thanks - Like being at home Nothing
- Ada (9/5): Superb -
- Michele (10/5): The wind blew out our bedroom window; Chris was the most supportive possible and relocated us. Merci - Everything as good as you could wish for. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris; we shall be back when we have to go to Geelong again, as we do at least once a year. Nothing.
- Sheila (9/5): Just like home❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ - Cleanliness, proximity to Badminton Geelong where we were attending the weekend for social vets competition, comfortable place with everything laid out ready for our use Shower curtain kept billowing in. Looks like temp measure till door is fixed ???
- Bolton (10/5): Exceptional -
