Car park access very good. Walking distance to great coffee and restaurants. Utilities in the apartment quite sparse - 1.5 toilet rolls for 4 people over 4 nights, minimum milk, no bathroom supplies. Reception closed most of the time. A supply of beach towels would also be appreciated. Please replace the fridge crisper.

La piscina y jacuzzi maravillosos!! Con acceso directo a la playa. Si buscas una zona tranquila es perfecta y cerca de todo!! Tanto si vas a la zona norte o sur de Gold Coast. El apartamento es correcto. Volveríamos de nuevo!! Todo bien pero quiza los baños necesitarían una reforma. Aunque no es un comentario negativo.

The furniture was a bit old, especially the bunk bed was squeaking in the quiet of the night. Also the kitchen utensils were not that clean. Overall, I think it was ok. We hardly stayed in so didn't feel it so much.

• Catherine (10/5): Absolutely perfect for what we needed and would have liked to stay there longer. - The location was perfect - Nobbys beach is a lovely (low rise) part of the long Gold Coast beach. We enjoyed walks along the beach in the morning and the hot tub in the evening. Nothing really. I couldn’t get the dryer to work but didn’t get around to asking what I needed to do so we dried in the sunshine.

The property shows signs of wear in places but the overall condition is still great. Very very comfortable room with beautiful views from the balcony. Everything you need to have a great stay with a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry. I would definitely stay here again!
• Melissa (9/5): Perfect - Spindrift has the best beach access and views are just amazing , location is perfect. The only downside is the they don’t supply you with enough essentials. One toilet roll one bin bag one dishwasher and laundry sachet the tea and coffee had not been replaced and no small hit milk when we arrived so if you are to stay here chuck some supplies in suitcase as there is no supermarket walking distance . Otherwise that’s is a small price to pay for the spectacular veiw and stay .

We had two apartments level 5 and ground level ( perfect with a toddler😅) big kids loved the upstairs one. Steps away from beach, right next to surf club and a great cafe. Short drive/walk from Burleigh and its great shops and beach. Not the cleanest but it was fine.

• Katrina (3/5): Poor - We as a family love the pool and the location. The apartment was disgustingly dusty and showers mouldy. It's just not at the level it should be for the price that's charged. My husband went to ask for a 2nd dishwashing tablet as we were staying 2 nights and only received one, well they charge you $1 for that which just seems absurd and greedy. The staff was rude about the whole scenario when my husband appeared shocked that there was a price on something like that that they would buy in bulk for not anywhere near that price. I did privately inform the accommodation about the lack of cleanliness but was then personally attacked about the fact that our eldest ended up coming with us last minute due to family matters and I was unaware I needed to inform them of that, would have been nice to have simply been informed while we were there.
• Glenn (7/5): Good value for money holiday in fabulous location. - We had stayed at Beachdrift for a special occassion 25 years ago, and returned here to celebrate the anniversary. So we knew that the location is fantastic - right on the beach, and with a great strip of restaurants just a few blocks away. Nobby Beach (Mermaid Beach) is so chill and peaceful compared to being in the bustle of Surfers Paradise! We knew that the building was older, but could see from photos that apartments have been renovated to keep up with the times. Cleaning service between guests could be better. The apartment was superficially clean - but many places showed that deeper cleaning is needed on a more regular basis (dust build-up on sliding door tracks, under furniture, etc.) We had some issues with wifi and sink drain in our apartment - but management was quick to take action and rectify these.

No toiletries other than a small bar of soap is supplied one small bag of washing powder for one wash. Would be nice to have a few extras so as not to need to buy everything the first day.

A view of the car - No breakfast The windows on kitchen extremely hard to open and close The mattress in spare room bunk bed very uncomfortable lump in middle and gave gave me a bad back. Cramped room no bedside table to put things on. Wardrobe full of flooring vinyl vacuumed cleaner fan nowhere to put clothes until moved it all out Not enough blankets Manager extremely aggressive arrogant and rude when asked for help. Accusingly asked me where the cleaning trolley was from lift when I was trying to take my luggage to car on departure and did not offer to help! Very very rude man!

• Penny (2/5): Not happy - The view Very noisy inconsiderate people directly above us. Dragging furniture around and thumping around from 6pm until nearly midnight. My partner went up at 8pm to ask what they were doing and the man shut the door in his face and didn't respond. I specifically requested a quiet apartment. We were VERY stressed from the noise and constant banging and thimping for 6 hours. Also the bed was extremely uncomfortable and my body ached all night and we both had trouble sleeping on the bed. One if the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept on. We only stayed 1 night, even though we'd booked for 3 nights. I've emailed booking.com but am still waiting for a reply in spite of them saying someone would get back to me within 24 hrs. I make a lot of bookings with bookings.com and I'm disappointed with the lack of response.

• Nicola (9/5): Fantastic apartment. Would definitely book here again if/when we come back. - Proximity to the beach, lovely apartment with views of amazing sunrise and sunsets. Sitting on the balcony watching these was fabulous. The bed was the most comfortable one we’ve slept in during our 3 weeks travelling around the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. Well maintained and clean, and excellent communication with property managers.

• Nancy (7/5): Great location, however, apartment was a bit tired and could do with an update. - Location! Direct beach access is terrific. Reception Hours were quite restricted, possibly due to public holiday. The TV in main bedroom did not work. We were surprised that a few items such as rubbish bin liners and dishwasher tablet was not provided as part of the starter pack. Some areas of the apartment seem to have been overlooked during the previous clean.
