Very large apartment Apartment was very dark, the two heaters struggled to warm the large apartment - we used the washing machine and it took 3 days for clothes to dry - we had to end up using the nearby laundromat dryer

Además era muy espacioso y estaba bien iluminado a pesar de ser interior. Muy buena atención por parte del encargado, respondiendo enseguida. Mucho sitio para guardar la ropa. Faltaban ciertos utensilios de cocina pero no importó mucho porque no llegamos a necesitarlos. También la ducha tenía muy poca presión y a veces resultaba incómodo y las camas podrían haber sido un poco más cómodas pero es una observación personal.

La posizione è eccezionale (zona Plaka - la migliore di Atene) tutto si trova a due passi a piedi, non abbiamo mai preso la macchina, anche perchè parcheggiare è difficile e dipende dagli orari. Una menzione speciale per i proprietari che in tempi brevissimi hanno risolto un problema, veramente gentilissimi e disponibilissimi.

• Ráfli Attila (10/5): Hidden gem - Perfect location, really in Place, still quiet and calm. The apartment is very spacious, well kept, gives and eclectic vibe of retro and modern. The beds are far larger than average. If you need, parking is available within short walking distance (2 mins). The owner is very agreeable and reachable. Nothing to mention.
• Antonia (2/5): Finger weg – dreckig, kaputt, unverschämt teuer und unfreundlicher Gastgeber!!! - Das einzig Positive an der Unterkunft war ihre zentrale und dennoch ruhige Lage. Wo soll ich anfangen? Die Unterkunft war in einem miserablen Zustand. Das Bett war defekt – ein Mangel, den bereits mehrere Gäste zuvor bemängelt hatten – und wurde weder repariert noch ausgetauscht. Im Sofa fanden sich sogar alte Socken und ein Basecap, dazu Essensreste und Müll. Das geht gar nicht. Unter dem Sofa war es so dreckig, dass wir es nicht mal mehr zur Seite geschoben haben, aus Angst, dass uns da noch Kakerlaken begegnen. Die Ablagemöglichkeiten im Schlafzimmer waren kaputt, überall lag Staub und Schmutz. Haare von Vorgängern und dicke Staubballen zogen sich durch die gesamte Wohnung. Bei einem Preis von knapp 100 € pro Nacht darf man deutlich mehr erwarten. Der Balkon war unbenutzbar, da er voller Tauben und Taubenkot war. Die Wohnung ist zudem extrem dunkel – eine Woche Aufenthalt würde hier eher depressiv machen als erholen. Das Bad: Die Dusche ist verschimmelt und undicht, nach jedem Duschen läuft Wasser ins ganze Bad. Die Küche: veraltet, lieblos und quasi ohne Ausstattung – nicht einmal ein Küchenmesser war vorhanden. Trotz mehrfacher Hinweise von mir und Booking.com auf die gravierenden Mängel lehnte der Gastgeber jede Lösung ab. Ich wollte die Unterkunft stornieren, nur eine Nacht bezahlen und ausziehen – er verweigerte alles. Stattdessen schrieb er mir über WhatsApp (außerhalb der Booking-Kommunikation), was absolut unprofessionell ist. Fazit: Unverschämter Preis, miserable Ausstattung, dreckig, kaputt und ein unkooperativer Gastgeber. Wer sein Geld nicht zum Fenster hinauswerfen will, sollte dringend die Finger davon lassen. • Tessa (7/5): Spaciousl apartment on edge of the Plaka. - Very spacious apartment on the edge of the Plaka area of Athens. Good facilities for a longer stay, lounge area, TV, dining area, washing machine and kitchenette. Lots of storage. Host was very responsive to all our questions and to a maintenance issue that arose during our stay. We agree with other comments about the bed. Our host has assured us that he will replace the mattress so I hope that will ensure a comfortable stay for future guests.

• Darina (7/5): Super location but bad bed - Superb location - easy walk to the quieter entrance of the Acropolis, near Syntagma, national gardens, great restaurants - everything you could want. The main bed is very uncomfortable. Everything else was great but unfortunately we didn't get a good night's sleep because of the bed. We sank into the middle and it's extremely noisy when you move - we kept waking each other up. If the bed was replaced the place would be great.

We had a problem working the stove top and the host sent help right away. The apartment was very quiet and in a very good location. The shower stall was not very clean. There was a leak in the ceiling in the bathroom that dripped onto the washing machine which could have been dangerous. When we used the washing mashing water came back up the drain onto the bathroom floor.

• Leila (9/5): We had a great stay! - The apartment is right in the center of Plaka, with lots of restaurants nearby, walking distance to the Acropolis, etc. It was clean, comfortable and the host was easily reached by phone/text. Very easy to checkin/out.

Amazing bakery and coffee nearby. Close to everything by foot that you want to see and do in Athens. Has elevator. Very comfortable bed. Host responds straight away. We loved our stay there. Two air conditioners that worked very well. Very very large apartment. Will be staying there again next year. Lots of parking stations a few mins away if you hire a car. Can bring the car infront of apartment to unload as its 2nd building from a corner even though its a pedestrian street if its in the morning. It is super super quiet there. It suited all our needs. We were very happy with our choice..The washing machine was a bonus. No negatives really. Only no block out curtains however suprisingly it wasnt an issue as you don't get morning sun coming through and I'm someone that needs a very dark room to get decent sleep. So as I said I would stay there again regardless of this.

• Marina (8/5): Very central, clean and fancy - The apartment was clean, and very well equipped. It is also pretty spacious, especially compared to the average room/apartment in Athens. Location is very central. Wifi signal was strong, however the internet connection didn't work at all. I don't know if the apt is in a blind spot as the connection wouldn't work even without wi-fi. It wasn't a big issue as we only stayed one night. There is a leak in the bathroom, like another reviewer stated. Again, not a big issue as we put a towel under the dripping water until it stopped but they should probably fix it as it drips all over the washing machine.

The apartment was very clean and new ,giving a " like home feeling" with its great and practical decoration. In general the accommodation and the hospitality was exceptional . The neighborhood was fantastic and the pedestrian street minimises the possible loud sounds a capital city can have . Really nothing to mention in that caption

• Bowling (10/5): Stay at a great little gem in the center of everything! - There were several things that we loved about this property. The pictures looked exactly like the apartment! Next: location, location, location. It’s perfectly situated on a pedestrian street in the heart of Athens Center. You walk out the front door and you are literally surrounded by great restaurants and shopping. We were able to walk everywhere. Let me be clear I’m not a hiker or anything like that. It’s really easy walking to everything. We walked to Acropolis, the museum, Webster University’s Cultural Center, the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Everything! The place was super clean and looks exactly like the pictures. There is also a travel agency called Lunnar Travel. The owner just gave us so many great recommendations and just was super nice. The neighborhood is superb! It really was great! There’s not much I didn’t like. Two small little Things that are really not that significant but could matter to some people. You just get one set of towels for your entire stay. In all fairness I never reached out to ask the host for more so it’s possible they would have provided more. Since the apartment had a washing machine we just washed our towels. Also the bathroom shower is small. Like really small. Again not a deal breaker for us but worth mentioning.

• Ching (6/5): Pleasant - The location The bathroom too small, very hard to shower and hard to control. The host was very unhelpful total unresponsive and not contactable at all. It was really dark so hard to find the unit, check in instructions not too clear.
• Ivan (9/5): Good value for money, a lot of space and central location - The location is perfect to get around the city center on foot. The apartment is spacious. It was nice to have a dining table and a separate living room with comfortable sofa and second TV. The host was very responsive and resolved all minor issues we had in the beginning. We really enjoyed our stay. The house seems to have a limited reserve of hot water. When we had a shower very late in the evening, we ran out of hot water couple times. While the bathroom has everything what is needed, it feels a bit small, but we were ready for that based on the photos.
