The receptionist, seeing my distress, somehow managed to find the taxi, and I was able to get my phone back. We wanted to thank her by giving her some money, but she refused. This woman was truly wonderful.

Stephen (9/5): Comfortable hotel in an ok location - Room was a good size with a large bed. Air con was quiet and efficient. Breakfast was geared towards the domestic Chinese market but I didn't go hungry. None of the reception staff spoke more than a few words of English but we got by with translation apps

Martina (8/5): Great place for a few days trip - Friendly and polite staff, some of the members also speak a bit of English 😁 Decent sized and clean room, comfortable bed Very clean bathroom The Chinese breakfast was good and quite tasty. As far as I can tell, there were different dishes everyday. There was a light smoke smell but it seems it was in the corridor as well so probably coming from elsewhere. Anyway, opening the window was enough to get rid of it. The place is located at around 10-15 mins drive from the places of interest. Not the most convenient location but it is easy to find and there is public transportation.

Joyce (10/5): Overall, I'd still give Tuke China Hotel- 9.7 - I liked everything: the location is strategic, their meals , the environment and the room as well was very clean. I was unable to watch TV cause I was asked to scan and pay for sth to enable me watch . Also, the button going to floor 7 needs to be worked on ; I almost got scared of my life as I couldn't get to the 7th floor from the 1st floor directly on the first day and it went dark before another lady helped me to the 8th floor.

Kubilay (9/5): Superb - Staff was very friendly. My room was clean and river view was nice. I liked the decoration of the room as well. This hotel is in center of Wenzhou, close to old train station. Once you arrived to south train station (hi-speed trains arrive to this station), you can get metro, get off in Longxia Road station (after 3 stops, takes around 10 mins), it is 20 mins walking distance to Longxia Road metro station. Alternatively, you can get B1 bus from south train station, it will take you to old train station but this bus travels entire Wenzhou, takes around 1 hour. Hotel is well located, few mins away there is a KFC and across KFC there is Bank of China, you can exchange currency in this bank, there is no exchange office in China, only possible in Bank of China. There are also many Chinese restaurants around the hotel as well as convenient stores. There are not many reviews about this hotel, but i can say that i made the right decision to stay. They give breakfast and it is adequate but generally Chinese breakfast. Location in booking.com is correct. I have enjoyed my stay, especially river view was very nice.
