Guest Reviews
- Tarja (6/5): - Location, terrace - Bathroom: Not nice, needs maintenance, broken shower rod, shower head should be replaced, very poor water pressure! Untidy bathroom in general.
- Bedroom: Hard bed. The bedding was not comfortable, instead of a duvet you got a cloth-like fabric with a sheet on it. The duvet that was in the wardrobe lacks a duvet cover. The extra pillow as well.
- The apartment needs maintenance.
- That the host, despite previous reviews, has not done anything about the customers' comments.
- The location and the terrace alone are not worth the cost of the accommodation.

- Ingelise (10/5): - Rent og pænt. Der var det vi skulle bruge og beliggenheden var perfekt.

- Anonymous (6/5): Pleasant - The location was convenient The kitchen sink upstairs was not usable due to leak in plumbing.
No shampoo.
- Claire (9/5): A good apartment in a lovely old part of Rome with plenty to do and see nearby. - The location is fantastic - dozens of nearby cafes, bars and restaurants so very easy to eat out breakfast, lunch or dinner. The property comes with a fridge and a small kitchen area, and there is a supermarket opposite so you can easily buy essentials, and beer / wine / fresh fruit to enjoy on the roof terrace!
The roof terrace is incredible - you are up above the roof tiles in a world of your own and whilst there are no iconic views, just being above the hustle and bustle of the street below is amazing - beware it gets full sun exposure all day though - hot hot hot!
The rooms get a lot of sun, but the air con in the lounge area worked well.
The sofa bed in the lounge was larger than we expected, so it was fine for our children to share. These are minor maintenance / upkeep points rather than real complaints, but the fridge was leaky, the toilet seat was wobbly and some of the lights didn't work, but overall the facilities were ok.
It wasn't an issue for us, but the stairs up to the kitchen means it is not appropriate for small kids, or people with mobility or balance issues.
It would also be difficult to cook your own family dinner here - we used it for breakfast only and snacks, and that was fine. But with all the restaurants nearby - you shouldn't want to cook!
- Natalie (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (7/5): Large one bedroom apartment with a rooftop balcony in a fantastic location - Supreme location. Very big apartment with a balcony that had great views of the rooftops. The elevator was very small and old, but charming at the same time. The host was great at communication and we had no problems picking up the key. The apartment was clean. The hot water for the shower did not work on the second day. I could not figure out how to turn it on or if it was broken. Note that you had to pay the VAT in cash. We were not prepared and had to hunt down a way to get cash quickly (we were otherwise cashless).
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Savannah (10/5): Perfect for two people with living room, upper kitchen area, and rooftop patio with unbelievable views. - The upstairs kitchen and rooftop patio was amazing. The location was also perfect.
- Lukas (10/5): Exceptional - beautiful and romantic apartment in the center of Rome. Sunny breakfast on the terrace. Grocery store and great pizzeria around the street
- Gerhard (10/5): Exceptional - Very central and nice restaurants Staircase to loft has no handrail - dangerous if you have small kids
- Kimberly (8/5): Fabulous 4 nights in Rome! - Our family of three including a teenager stayed four nights at the beginning of October and we had a very positive experience. Communication with the owner was very quick during the booking process and answering our questions. We had no problems with meeting at the apartment to receive our key and be shown around.
The location is awesome; right outside your doorstep is a pizza place with many more restaurants close by, A grocery store, wine shop, Irish pub and a gelato place too.
The apartment itself is as Advertised in the photos with a comfortable firm king size bed, and a sofa bed, which was made up already on our arrival.
The kitchen consisted of a kettle, microwave, small fridge, stove, utensils, wine opener, and all the basic necessities for cooking. There was also dish soap.
There is a washing machine in the bathroom, which we used and just hung our clothes to dry. We did have to use Google for “ instructions “ on the use but that was no problem.
As stated and other reviews, the stairway is steep going up in a circular fashion, however, if you use the support pole/beam going up and down it helps with balance. We had no problems.
In the kitchen, there is a long bar counter (overlooking the terrace) with a couple of stools. Take note that under the bar counter is open to the living room below, so keep that in mind if you have small kids.
A/C worked good.
Our favorite part of the apartment was the terrace, which we sat every evening and morning and loved listening to the church bells ring. The apartment is located on the fifth floor, however there is a small elevator, which was very handy.
We had no issues with noise and enjoyed having the shutters open for fresh air.
.All in all we would totally recommend this apartment. We had a fabulous time in Rome! As other reviewers have stated, the toilet seat is still broken and the extra duvets did not have covers over them.
- Stephen (8/5): Recommend this apartment. - Good central location with lovely views from the terrace. Tastefully furnished. Very comfortable. Cute lift. Best pizza restaurant across the road.
- Hatim (9/5): I liked it. - location is close to attraction, restaurants.
you have a shop opposite to appartement which you find all what u need.
the terrace at the top has a unique and enjoyable view and atmosphere. kitchen access does not suit children or senior people, kitchen is missing a kettle and coffee making machine.
- Doug (6/5): Great location, but needs work on the details. - Location in Centro Storico.
Apartment makes good use of space with an interesting layout.
Very atmospheric old building
Roof terrace is great Attention to detail lacking. Lots of things were old, broken or didn't work. Missing lightbulbs, broken toilet seat, toaster melted and broken, no kettle in the kitchen, no tea towels, washing machine but no clothes dryer/airer.
Place was clean enough, but still dusty and looked like it had been a fairly quick clean on turnaround.
Overall felt like its trading on its location and not trying hard enough on the detail and finish.
- Gaelle (9/5): Enjoyed our stay, great location, good value for Rome ! - Great apartment, location was perfect, lived the terrace Beds were hard
- Jackie (8/5): Great location in a comfortable clean apartment. - The property is in an excellent location. Close to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Castel Del'angelo and St Peters Basilica. There are LOTS of bars and restaurants within 50 mtrs. Comfy king bed and plenty of space for us two and the air conditioning was excellent and appreciated in the summer heat. The terrace was large and gets the sun all day. We did not cook as such, but the kitchen was adequate with a decent fridge and the essential sharp knives. There is a small supermarket within 20 mtrs. The spiral staircase was lethal, bearing in mind we are pensioners, we would not recommend for children. We would have liked a parasol/umbrella on the terrace as it was too hot to sit out when we were there. There was some building work going on next door when we were there which was noisy by 8:30 am each morning.
- Vanessa (10/5): Superb Apartment In the Heart of Rome - Everything! Spectacular location. Beautiful little quirky apartment. The terrace was incredible. The old lift was so cool. So close to everywhere. We walked everywhere; to the Vatican, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navarro, Collusseum, and Trevi Fountain. Incredible city and so sad to have to leave! The stairs up to the kitchen might be better with a handrail on the outside as it was a little precarious going up and down them, especially after a few drinks!
- Sophio (10/5): Exceptional - Super Location, great host and very cosy apartment with stunning terrace
- Hong (10/5): Beautiful apt! - Roomy and great terrace. Lively area and near landmarks. Well stocked. Beds were comfortable.
- Antoine (10/5): Superb flat, Extra terrace, ideal location. Charming and accommodating owner Everything was perfect! - terrace,
ideal location.
accommodating owner
- Kerri (2/5): Very poor - I left. It was ridiculously dusty and I couldn't sleep there.
- Simone (7/5): Good - The location nera piazza Navona is just ideal to reach many places simply by feet. The apartment was not the best for a family with two kids. Kitchen is too small to accomodate 4 persons. Some defect on facilities: lights not working, broken toilet seat cover (that I had to repair myself).
- Johana (10/5): Exceptional - It's a cozy apartment right in the heart of the city, just a few steps away from Piazza Navona. Beautiful spacious terrace with a stunning view of the rooftops, palaces, and churches around. Many thanks to Mario, our host. Highly recommended, when we're in Rome again, we'll gladly come back.
- Petri (10/5): Fantastic apartment near everything - Mario excellent host. Aparment was good. Roof breakfast fantastic. 2 keys would be nice..
- Gerrit (8/5): Very good - Location is perfect for exploring the city without the need of a car and opposite of the house is a small supermarket with everything one needs, which for me is not much for breakfast
The roof terrace is really great for breakfast and a late glass of wine in the evening
- Jessica (7/5): Good - Location is amazing and there is a beautiful terrace! The host was very accommodating of our earlier check-in and later departure. The toilet couldn’t be flushed consecutively so you had to wait quite a bit in between flushes. It would be great if toiletries like shampoo and body wash were available. There wasn’t any coffee either.
- Robert (10/5): Very friendly and accomodating. Will be returning again in the near future. -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stbabachev (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. The area has everything guests need. Restaurants, bars, shops, everything is just a step away. Opposite the apartment there is a supermarket where you can buy all kinds of food and drinks. The apartment has a private terrace on the roof of the building with direct access to it. The terrace is connected to the kitchen, making it possible to have breakfast or dinner outdoors in the heart of ROME. There is no.
