• Paula (9/5): Really good, Olga is very kind, very recomend! - Spacious room with a separate kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils. Comfortable bed, and the sheets and towels smell wonderful. The apartment is extremely clean and has a lovely balcony with a small table — perfect for relaxing. The shower is great, with nice hot water. Located 3 minutes from the metro and within a 10-minute walk of the main tourist attractions. The apartment is located in the city center, with a somewhat noisy neighborhood.

De kamer ligt in een hele ongezellige buurt die niet veilig aanvoelt. Het gebouw is verouderd en vuil. De voordeur ging ook niet meer goed op slot omdat er al zo veel ingebroken was.

• Carmen (8/5): - Check in mit der Schlüsselbox wurde vorab sehr gut erklärt und hat problemlos funktioniert. Das Gebäude selbst ist etwas heruntergekommen und wirkte gruselig. Zimmer selbst schön und sauber auch der kleine Innenhof. Bett quietscht leider, was etwas mühsam war. Heißes Wasser und geräumige Dusche. Gute Lage.

• Balthasar (6/5): Pleasant - The place came with an amazing backyard. Host was very friendly and responsive. Great value for money! Location is close to all great sites. I've been warned by locals that the area is very unsafe and I did not feel safe. The apartment is door to door with another apartment, which is very loud when people walk in and out. The coffee machine was very mouldy but the host gave me a new coffee machine within no time (she is very good). Bed was a bit hard.
• Vanden Broeck (10/5): Hidden gem in the centre - This place was for us a hidden gem in the centre of Athens. We stayed at 4 different places and this place was by far the best. It's a little outside of the tourist centre which made it very quiet to sleep. It was very hygienic and clean. It looked like a brand new appartment. It had all the facilities we needed with the small kitchen: fridge, water kettle,... We'll definitly book this again when we come back to Athens.

• Konstantinos (10/5): - An extremely clean and modern apartment in the heart of the action of downtown Athens. Very quiet although it is located in a busy area (in the back of the building). A big back balcony to relax after a busy day. Olga, the hostess is a very nice person and polite. She responds immediately when asking questions. An overall excellent experience. • Yvonne (8/5): - Excellent location. Well apointed and super clean We were also thankful to be able to check in a couple hours early. The commumal entry is quite grubby and lowers the tone of and othereise excellenr facility. Stairs are a bit tough for anyine with heavy luggage.

• Laura (8/5): Sorpresa positiva dietro una facciata poco invitante - Pulizia impeccabile e grande disponibilità da parte della proprietaria. L'interno della stanza è curato e accogliente, in netto contrasto con l'aspetto trascurato dell'edificio in cui si trova. Posizione ottima a pochi passi da metro e stazione dei pullman per muoversi di giorno, ma la sera non è la zona più tranquilla di Atene.
• Michele Ciro (10/5): Oasis in Omonia - Furniture and airco are new. Bed is comfortable. Everything inside the apartment was just perfect. Outside the apartment the city is not at its best. Keep it in mind, especially if you're alone in the night.

• Yasmine (6/5): Unsafe but had the basics. - I would not recommend this for solo travellers or women. The area it is located in is known for trafficking, drug issues, and can be very dangerous at night. I would suggest spending a little more to be in the safer areas. The biggest con would be the location. In addition, property was smaller than the picture, but had all the basics. There was only a thin sheet used on the bed which was not ideal for sleep.

Pozitionarea este de asemenea un punct important fiind practic la baza Acropolelor la 10-15 min de mers pe jos... Recomand cu caldura, daca o sa revin in Atena cu siguranta va fi prima optiune! La locatie nimic, totul a fost impecabil
• Saskia (6/5): - Neat, clean, and basic—good for a simple stay. The neighborhood was a big downside. It felt really rough, and I didn’t feel safe walking around. Its close to the main attractions, but I ended up taking Ubers because I was scared, which meant the money I saved on the cheaper accommodation just went straight to the ride costs. Drivers would wait to make sure I got inside safely before leaving. Wouldn’t recommend staying here if safety is a priority.
• Lisanne (7/5): Schönes Apartment in schlimmer Lage! - Das Apartment an sich war schöner als auf den Fotos, auch sauber. Die Lage allerdings war wahrscheinlich der Grund , warum es selbst im August günstig war; Saugruselig, wir kamen nachts an (2 Mädels) und wussten sofort, dass wir im falschen Stadtteil unterwegs waren. Die Hausfassade und der Gang gehören auch zum gruseligen Teil. Auch tagsüber ist es keine schöne Gegend, man wird von Männern ekelhaftest angestarrt (mehr als gewöhnlich von Männern erwartbar). Hätten wir uns vorher besser informiert, hätten wir gewusst, dass man omonia square und diese Gegend v.a. nachts meiden soll. Stay safe! DIE LAGE
• Marina (8/5): Buena opción económica cerca del centro, aunque con algunos detalles a mejorar - El apartamento tiene una muy buena relación calidad-precio. Está cerca del centro de Atenas, lo cual es práctico para moverse andando. El aire acondicionado funcionaba perfectamente, algo muy importante con el calor que hacía. El alojamiento en general estaba bien, limpio y cómodo. Destacamos especialmente la atención de Olga, la propietaria, que fue muy amable: nos ayudó a encontrar el apartamento y estuvo pendiente en todo momento del check-in. También tiene una terraza, aunque por el calor no la aprovechamos mucho. Como aspectos negativos, al llegar faltaba papel higiénico, y echamos en falta algunos utensilios básicos de cocina. Además, aunque la zona está relativamente cerca del centro, el barrio nos pareció bastante degradado y al llegar de noche nos sentimos un poco inseguros. En general, si buscas algo económico y funcional, es una buena opción, pero sería ideal que mejoraran algunos pequeños detalles.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for convenience and cleanliness! Could have been more kitchen appliances, such as a bake oven.

• Zoltán (10/5): Very nice apartment close to the centre - The room was very clean and had a lot of room, the facilities were very modern, the host always responded quickly. During our two-night stay, the place was quiet because it faced a courtyard rather than the busier street. There were some interruptions with the hot water, but it could be solved with the fuse box (did not know about it, figured out a bit later). The neighbourhood seemed like a bit dodgy (did not experience anything but it did not feel so safe), but for luck the place was close to a bigger road and to the metro as well.
• Don (10/5): An absolute gem - This is such a delightful place to return to at the end of a busy day. Our flat was at the rear of the property and included a courtyard garden. This was our outdoor haven away from traffic noise, where we could enjoy breakfast and coffee in the morning and a glass of wine or light dinner in the evening. The patio has a cafe table and chairs. Potted plants and the neighbourhood birds complete the relaxing feeling. The studio apartment has good air conditioning, a contemporary bathroom and a comfortable bed. The small but functional kitchenette is equipped with an induction hot plate, frying pan and pot, a coffee maker, crockery, cutlery and glassware. We spent 8 wonderful nights here and would return in a flash. Olga, who manages the property, is a good communicator and responds to queries really quickly. The process for accessing the keys is simple, with key lockers and access codes provided just before arrival. No complaints.

• Ishtiaq (8/5): Very good - Good: In apartment we spent 3 days and everything was ok. In kitchen we had enough equipment, Olive oil was nice :), bathroom was also good and comfortable. Room was clean. Localisation was ok, near to center. There was not much day light in flat.

• Sara (6/5): Good place to stay near the center and subway - The place is central and the subway is nearby, which is very helpful, especially if you are planning to visist the Acropole or get the ferry to the islands. The room was clean and had an AC, which in August is very necessary in Athens, since it's extremely hot, day and night. Kitchen was also ok, enough kitchen suppliances to cook some basic meals. We only stay there for 2 nights, since we left to Crete. Although the place has a back terrace, there is no view, and the appartment is very dark. Of course this is not the host fault, since there is nothing he can do, but than again, this was the only thing that we didn't like. Otherwise, all good.

• Amy (7/5): Budget friendly if you want to be 15 minutes from the centre by foot, but be aware of the area. - Clean and well kept. The location wasn’t the safest. Two taxi drivers informed us that the area wasn’t safe. We didn’t encounter any incidents though. Also we could feel the springs of the mattress when sleeping.

• Tamas (9/5): Superb - Spacious apartment with a large patio within walking distance of Athens main tourist spots. The apartment equipped with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. Main metro lines accessible by a few minutes of walking. The apartment is located in a bit dodgy but central location. Personally, I had no problems with that and enjoyed both being close to public transport and sights as well as the small shops that were open during the night right on the street.

But worth to consider this district Too many locks to close manually (3 doors to open and close every time you leave. Quite noisy terrace surrended by flats closely
• Andreas (10/5): Great apartment - Clean apartment, everything in the room working fine. Central location, walking distance from Monastiraki and the trains. Easy Check in using door code to get keys, the instructions are clear. There is 3 locked doors until reaching the room, so it is very safe. Internet worked well, the correct wifi password is in the room (different password sent via automatic email was wrong). Recommended only for men or couples. If you are a single woman, don't book this property as the street is filled with dodgy homeless drug addicts and illegal immigrants, so it would be dangerous.
• Radka (9/5): Superb - The apartment was super clean, looked exactly like in the photos. Short walking distance from all the touristy stuff in the city center as well as a metro station. Check-in and check-out went super smoothly with clean instructions. The owner is great, super responsive and helpful. Unfortunately the neighborhood this apartment is located in is in very rough shape. Very dirty, full of homeless drug addicts on the streets. Also the wifi sometimes had its moments and just couldn't connect to the internet.
• Georgios (8/5): Very nice and clean apartment in a weird location - In the apartment everything was perfect and clean, as described in the page. The owner answers the messages quickly. The location. The wi-fi didn't work the second day but the owner fixed the problem the next day.
• Chama (7/5): Good stay and value for money despite some inconveniences - I liked the terrasse and the flat was clean and new It was VERY cold in the flat and there was no indication on how to turn on the heater. The wifi wasn't working, the owner knew it but omitted to tell us.

• Matt (4/5): Great hosts, underwhelming property. - The people that own/manage it are genuinely amazing people, they were very responsive on booking.com chat, they called me when necessary and even came round to the property to help me out on one occasion. The room itself was exactly as advertised in the pictures, and it was exceptionally clean. The building itself was quite disgusting, I accidentally made it to the top floor on my first visiting as I couldn’t find the flat and there was dirty mattresses in the stairwell and an abandoned room at the top. The area was also pretty grim, on my final day, in the morning before going for my flight, there was a man 7ft away from the door with a needle hanging out of his arm. The middle door was extremely hard to open and there seemed to be no prior instructions on how to open it. On three or four occasions I spent 5-10 minutes trying to open it and one time I was there for 15+.
• Custodio (6/5): Basic flat. There are hotels with the same price and same area. - Close to Omonia square. Issues with the Wi-Fi. No micro wave, no toaster, no elevator... Unhappy since the beginning till last day (3)...noise in the morning, no late checkout possible...
