• Sophie (6/5): - The property is in a perfect location on a beautiful street. It is close to train stations, shops, pubs/cafes etc. and an easy tube ride to central London and big attractions which is perfect for tourists. Overall the room is cosy and good value for money considering the great location. We had an issue during our stay and the staff were able to help us get it sorted. The room was not very clean; there are stains and marks all over the walls and the bed sheets had a stain and a hole in it when we arrived. The room is very small (to be expected) but be aware both my partner and I could not stand up straight without our head hitting the roof. The bed is very small, too small for two people, and the towels are also VERY small. The shower does not drain properly and the bathroom tap sprays all over you when you turn it on. The worst part was probably that that hallway outside the room has an extremely strong foul smell of cigarettes/weed/mould. So strong that we had to hold our breath as we walked to the room and you have to quickly shut the door to ensure the small doesn’t waft into the apartment. We also experienced some hostility from other residents in the building who told us that all the residents are angry this is a residential building and is not meant to have tourists staying in it. This was a bit disappointing to hear.

• Ella (1/5): Avoid! - N/a I arrived at the property around 10.20pm after travelling down from Manchester to find there’s no key in the lock box. I attempted multiple times to call or message the host however each call was unsuccessful and went to voicemail and no one replied to my messages. I then thankfully got through to someone at booking.com who advised they will look into it and contact us in 45 mins. I then get a message from the host who says they’re going to be 25 mins, which was more 35. Baring in mind me and my friend are 2 women in our early 20s in an area in London we are not familiar with, left outside in the cold. The host then arrived and we go upstairs to our apartment to find we have been given the wrong key. The host then puts us next door to ‘chill’. We’re left there for 30mins as he the disappears to speak to another host to get the right key. During this time we get an email from booking.com to advise they have contacted the host and our stay has been cancelled as they can no longer accommodate our check in!?!? We are now left at 12:00am with no where to stay. Absolute nightmare.

• murgiu9 (8/5): Ottimo soggiorno a Londra - Posizione ottima per raggiungere la stazione di paddington e bayswater. Area servita da molti ristoranti, market e negozi. Struttura e appartamento accoglienti. Camera molto pulita e dotata di molti comfort: phon, pentole, stoviglie, stufetta, ecc. Staff davvero gentile e pronto a risolvere eventuali inconvenienti. Mancanza di strumenti e prodotti per mantenere pulito l'appartamento durante la permanenza, principalmente: spugna, scopa e paletta. Pareti non insonorizzate.
• Ruth (7/5): It was okay. - It was very clean and well stocked. We had workmen working immediately outside our bedroom window! We realize that the scaffolding was supposed to be gone by the time we arrived but having this as a first impression was less than ideal. A heads up might have helped. One of the locks on the door didn’t work properly. The hallways reeked of smoke (cigarette and pot) and it seeped into our accommodation. The bed is flimsy and swayed and squeaked whenever anyone moved. Although the unit itself is bright and cheery, the public areas are shabby … and not in chic way. Paint cans and parts of shower doors in the lobby and electrical outlets with exposed wires and no covers were very messy and gave a very rundown first impression.

Το σπίτι πολύ καθαρό και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο. Σημείωση ότι είναι στον πρώτο χωρίς ασανσέρ οπότε πρέπει να ανεβάσετε από τις σκάλες τις αποσκευές σας .
• Mis (10/5): - Отдельное спасибо персоналу. Прекрасное местоположение, недалеко от метро. Номер был чистым и оборудован всем необходимым. Свежие постельное белье и полотенце. По вечерам не было слышно шума и соседей. Тихий спокойный район Совместный балкон с соседним номером и ремонт этого же балкона с самого утра.

• Nikela (8/5): Good with some "BUTS" - The location is great. It's close to Paddicton station and close to small market places that are open till late. It felt safe walking from the station to the home which is really important for a solo traveler like me. I used the washing machine also which was a huge plus and one of the reasons I chose the place. The kitchen was fully equipped even with a good size fridge. I would stay again because it was quite clean, the area is great and it's comfy for one person with the wifi and all the amenities. Also the price for the area is quite good compared to other properties! P.s. I did not use the upper level with the tv so I can't have an opinion. Ok so there are a couple of things I want to point out, some of them have been pointed out by other guests as well in the reviews. First when I arrived the key was not working and the whole communication until someone came to open and give me another key was a bit passive aggressive and sounded sarcastic. The towels are small, and it's not a preference thing they are very small for shower towels. It is noisy, you can hear the other apartment around you but I have lived in the UK for many years in the past and I was not startled by this. It was expected in an old building. The shower is small. It is very ok for me but for a larger and/or taller person it won't be comfortable. Same for the bed. I do know double for the UK is small for most other countries but the bed was not the one in the pictures. It was a cheap bed and was moving if you changed sides in your sleep. For two people it won't be very comfortable. The window is old as it was expected and it did not close properly, however it was not very cold when I was there so that wasn't an issue. It was however an issue that the exterior of the building was under renovation and there was scaffolding outside the window which made me feel unsafe and uneasy as I would hear workers in the morning. I know it's not a permanent thing but it would be great if I knew in advance about this issue and how I would not have the light I was expecting in the room as I kept the roll down during almost my whole stay.
• LOUIS (8/5): - Situation au calme, dans une rue bordée d'arbres où courent des écureuils, tout en étant proche de la gare de Paddington. Le logement offrait tout ce dont nous avions besoin et il était très agréable à vivre.
• Marie (6/5): Okay, but the communication wasn’t great - Great location, short distance (about 8 min walk) from Paddington Station. Very clear and easy check-in. The apartment was clean. Flexible since they allowed us to check out at 12pm (instead of the usual 11am). The bed is somewhat uncomfortable since the matress felt a bit old and worn-out, but okay for a few nights. We stayed 3 nights. During our last night, the fire alarm went off in the building. We followed regular procedure and went outside, yet only a few other neighbours did. No one really knew what was going on. We tried go call the owner/manager of the apartment on the telephone number provided on Booking several times, but no one answered. Eventually, it was concluded that it was probably a false fire alarm so we all went back inside. When we couldn’t reach the manager through telephone, we also sent a message via the Booking app (which they had used for communication up until then) but we didn’t receive an answer until a few hours later. It would’ve been nice if we had been able to reach an emergency contact who actually knows the building and maybe could’ve helped us out if there was actually something going on. What felt even stranger was that, when I told them this wasn’t a great experience for us, they tried to say that I never tried to contact them when it happened (while I clearly sent messages in the middle of the night, which they even answered themselves in the morning). Very weird experience overall which kind of cast a strange vibe on our stay.

• Guillaume (8/5): Excellent séjour et un lieu parfait pour s'y reposer - L'appartement est très confortable, on y passe un bon moment et on a plaisir à y revenir après avoir visité Londres toute la journée. La petite cuisine est très agréable et permet de faire tout ce que l'on souhaiterai. Le balcon en photo n'est pas le bon, ce n'est qu'un petit balcon, sans possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner dessus. De même les photos de la salle de bain ne sont pas les mêmes, mais le tout reste très confortable. L'appartement sent un peu le vécu (des carreaux de la salle de bain bougent, les murs ont des traces noires). Mais l'appartement reste très confortable et agréable
• Artiom (10/5): - The apartment was so good, it was near to hide park and stations , so you can get to any part of London easily. It had any options as like kitchen , washing machine, coffee machine. It was really nice and clean, we loved it. The bed kept creaking every time I moved,it was annoying.
• Alison (7/5): Great location on quiet street - Great location, handy to Paddington Station, Hyde Park, restaurants, pubs and shops. Quiet street. Great communication, check in was easy (lock box with key). Having a little kitchen was handy. Didn't end up using the washer drier. Was true to photos but - Small bathroom, very small shower. Area to watch TV was upstairs in loft, with bean bags for seating (I found tricky to get out of lol).. No aircon, and was very warm even with balcony doors open sometimes. Bed comfy but a bit creaky. But all this still made it an okay place to stay, we were out and about most of the time anyway.

• Charlotte (9/5): Would absolutely stay again - Fantastic value especially for the location. The apartment is super clean, as if no one has used it before. The interior design Is excellent; it is all white/monochrome and the space is used superbly - there is a little upstairs chill out area with beanbags and low lighting which is very cozy. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a stove, a proper oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine as well as all the pots, pans, cutlery etc that you might need to cook and eat. There is even a washing machine and tablets to clean clothes! You can open the door and step outside onto the balcony for fresh air. The main room and the bathroom are heated. We stayed five nights including over the weekend and in general it was peaceful and we were able to sleep very well. Exceeded expectations! If I had to make one suggestion for improvement, it would be to provide bigger towels.

• Yln (9/5): Really great but could be better with slight adjustments.. - Location, use of space, ease of contact with host were all amazing, the layout and the ability to cook and store your own food helps defeat the costs of being in London. Really lovely hosts too, very responsive, and nice. Hoping to book to stay again next month. Flat would have benefitted from a deep clean, nothing too bad though but cleaning the carpet, balcony and glass would have made big improvements to the look of the place. The shower is also very small which cannot be helped but would be better set up as a wet room for comfort

• Deirdre (4/5): Probably the least pleasant of any of my stays, and agents not that helpful - Good location, had a washing machine/dryer We had a bad experience: on our arrival rubbish left out side the door, and a vile smell of sewage coming up the shower/ toilet pipes. On top of that, the fuses tripped and we were left without bathroom lighting or fan . The carpet beside the very small squashy bed was dirty . No teatowels supplied for drying dishes- a roll of paper towels - like you were flatting! The host /rental company paid lip service via many texts and said on their visit to the property they couldn’t smell anything. Perhaps they are used to the smell. It finally went the last day(4) of our visit. No solutions, just apologies. Said previous guests had blocked the drain. On top of that we were woken at night by the guests next door doing their laundry at 1-30am every night ! Not soundproof at all. Ugh! Stressful start to holiday and I wouldn’t recommend.

His professionalism made the check-in process seamless, allowing us to start enjoying our time in London right away. The apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed, making our stay truly comfortable and convenient. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone seeking a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and exceptional service in the heart of South Kensington.
