- Talgat (9/5): Excellent modern place, clean, no smell, comfortable - Excellent room (I had a studio apartment) with excellent air conditioning and dehumidifier. The room was very big with high ceilings and a great view. No any kind of smells in the room or the hotel (which is great). Having washer and drier in the room was excellent as I needed to wash and dry my clothes. The hotel even provided the laundry soap. Bed was comfortable. Facilities are good and clean. No strange smells anywhere at the hotel whatsoever. The location is great, very quiet and peaceful, close to a waterfront park and many restaurants and cafes. I came here after a busy trip to Guangzhou and this place was just perfect for relaxing and resting! The hotel staff were super helpful and tried their best to help. This hotel is a great value for what it offers. It could easily be a base for a long trip, because the room is so comfortable and it feels like home. It is not in the center and I don’t know where the public transport was as I used Didi/Taxi. The distance from the city center is what makes this place so relaxing and quiet. If needed the city center can be reached by taxi in 10-15 minutes. Nothing really. Some minor tear and wear, which is completely fine.

- Xin (9/5): Exceptional stay, changed my perception of Marriott - I love the room. There wasn’t much of a sea view but the room was huge and super comfortable. Very value for money. The facilities especially the gym was great. The front desk service was good as well. It would have been even better if room service refreshed the bowl of fruits everytime as well.

- Ka (3/5): Unpleasant and disappointing - Breakfast was decent and the staff were very helpful and polite We had stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past. Loved its location and the staff were always friendly. However, on our second night during this stay, the shower broke down and no hot water was available. We had to find out while my son was naked and already in the shower. Called the front desk for help and requested an emergency change of rooms. The request was denied, and they instead insisted to send maintenance staff to have it checked. I made clear that that was not acceptable as we were already halfway in the shower. We ended up having to move the family to take a shower in the public washroom. Terrible experience and we likely won't be returning to this hotel again.
