• Juanjuan (9/5): The house was clean and comfortable, in a very nice location. - It was close to the main area of Orange, and was quite large. The beds were very soft, the house was clean, and had plenty of brochures about Orange’s attractions. The complimentary gelato was nice too. We didn’t have any main issues with the facility, and it was an exceptionally nice stay.

• Miriam (7/5): Had a pleasant stay for a few days whilst visiting family. It is well equipped and comfortable - Simple, uncluttered and very easy to get into. Great communication from the hosts, great facilities. The house is in a good part of town but is on the corner of two very busy roads so it was rather noisy. • ANN (10/5): Lovely private, clean, comfy cottage. - Perfect for our 4day stay. Lovely to come back to a cosy cottage after being out & about all day. The beds were exceptionally great. So comfy, with wonderful linen. I would just suggest a better kettle be installed as I had to use the microwave to boil water for tea or coffee. Absolutely minor I know but a tiny idea.

• Claire (1/5): An apology would be a good start..... - Nothing - we couldn't even get into the property as the lockbox wouldn't open. I don't like leaving bad reviews and even gave the hosts 10 days grace to address the email I sent. We arrived at 3.30pm on a Friday & were unable to access the key from the lockbox. The code we were given didn't work. I tried to contact the hosts numerous times. We had 2 mobile numbers which went straight to voicemail & I texted & sent a message through booking.com. We have video trying to attempt to get in using the lockbox. Later Friday night we accosted the lovely couple staying in the next door apartment - the gentleman very kindly offered to try the lockbox as well & he couldn't get it open either. At 10.30pm we were traipsing through town with our baggage & eventually booked into a central hotel in two single rooms at about 11.30pm. A very different weekend experience to the one we were looking forward to, not helped by the fact that I didn't get to sleep until 2.30am due to the thumping music right opposite my room. Providing a contactable telephone number to your guests is the minimum requirement of a holiday rental. If a host is on holiday or uncontactable, then having an alternative contact is an absolute necessity. All in all, it ruined our weekend. Rather than the relaxing Friday night we had anticipated, much of it was spent trying to find alternative accommodation & dealing with booking.com, worrying that we may end up sleeping in the car, whilst trying to eat the meal we had booked 3 months prior. We had booked the apartment to enable us to prepare some meals ourselves, something we were unable to do in a single hotel room. We were looking forward to relaxing there before venturing out to explore the local area but instead we spent the weekend in a noisy hotel, the second night on opposite ends of the hotel to each other. The fact that no-one has contacted me to offer an apology is disgusting, despite a lengthy message through booking.com.

• Jeffrey (9/5): A lovely place with plenty of rom and a 5 minute walk to great coffee! - Off street parking, roomy, very clean. 2 TV’s for separate viewing. Great communication with owner. Shower is located in the laundry near back door, and toilet is separate near the front of the house. A little strange but not really a problem.

• Ken (9/5): We loved our stay there as it was light, fresh, modern and comfortable. Would - The location was great and easy distance to shops and cafes etc. The unit was very spacious and the bed was so comfortable. So good to have 2 televisions, especially the large one in the lounge area. Can’t think of anything negative apart from the fact that it would have been nice to have milk in the fridge ready for a cuppa.

Highly recommend! - It was super clean and in a lovely safe quiet location whilst still being an easy walk to summer street and all the attractions The layout was a little funny in that one of the bedrooms opened to the laundry/shower (and the toilet was next to the living room)

• Claudia (8/5): A pleasant place to stay. Convenient and clean. - It was very clean. The photos and information on the site regarding the bathroom was deceiving. There is a separate toilet in the middle of the house but the shower and hand basin is actually in the laundry which is directly at the back door, off the kitchen and the bedroom. As there was two separate adults staying it was a bit awkward. The bathroom is a bathroom/laundry/entrance all in one. It might work for a family who are familiar with each other but not for peeps sharing. A few more welcoming items around would be a nice touch.

• Yvonne (9/5): Great house, The Clinton - The owners contacted me on the arrival day to ask if I wouldn't mind staying in their property around the corner from this one, 'The Clinton'. As it had suitable facilities and the reason they asked was that their guest at A Prince on Clinton was to depart but was unable to get home ( maybe due to Cyclone Alfred?) The Clinton was spacious, well-furnished and had a big backyard. If you had a big group travelling it would be superb. Everything was just fine

Good parking for two vehicles outside at the front an lot of spider webs on the chair and around the fence and gate. White tail spider on rear fly screen door when we opened it to access house first time, may need a insect treatment on externals

Toilet at other end of house with two steps up invisible at night. No space for suitcases. No mat at entry - was raining on arrival. Cost high >$190. Few electric outlets. No breakfast as mentioned in pamphlets.

• Maiolini (4/5): dissatisfied - I liked the location of the property - There appeared to be urine in one corner of the toilet. - The TV in the bedroom kept turning on around 6:30am and waking us up so we had to disconnect it in the end which was really inconvenient - the houses structure looked like it was about to collapse - the beds were so uncomfortable, to many blankets, a doona should be in a cover not covered with a sheet i could only imagine the amount of people who have taken the other blankets/sheets off because they were such an inconvenience and used the doona on its own and its very unlikely that is cleaned properly after every guest. it would be so much more hygienic and more comfortable. - there was really no where to put things in the shower. - Theres no reason to have 2 sinks in one space, just makes it really hard for families to have there stuff on the bench - There was no coat hangers
