• Sarah (10/5): Really pleased with apartment, exactly what was needed as a base to go hiking. - The location was perfect for what I needed, provided with all utensils etc to make it feel like a home away from home
• Lina (7/5): Il faisais bien chaud à l’intérieur, idéal pour 1 nuit ou 2 pour 2-3 personnes max. La personne est littéralement injoig - L’emplacement au top , la vue est magnifique et à côté du lac Blausee et Oeschinensee Trop petit, les personnes grande de taille risque de se cogner la tête. L’emplacement de la deuxième chambre était cachée on a mis du temps à la trouver car aucune indication. La personne qui se charge de louer cet appart met une éternité à répondre point très négatif! J’ai du la relancer sur plusieurs jours pour qu’au final elle ne réponde même pas à mes questions. On a galerer à trouver l’appartement car aucune indication aucune photo et la personne ne répond pas.

• Ann (10/5): - The room is a bit low, but it’s super cozy and has everything you need. If you take a moment to look around, you’ll find all the essentials. The kitchen and living room get great sunlight, and honestly, I’d come back just for the view from the window. The location is great too—really close to a supermarket, and the bus to Lake Öschinen and Blausee is super convenient. I loved it here!

Wifi et équipement correct Dans l’annonce il y a écrit 2 chambres, c’est vrai mais la « petite » Chambre est vraiment pour un enfant quand il ne fait pas froid… un adulte ne peux pas y dormir correctement, très mansardé et la chambre est froide et pas de chauffage direct.

• Martina (6/5): Mancanza di attenzione - Posizione ottima per la visita al lago e a supermercati e ristoranti, appartamento dotato di tutto quello che serve Quando siamo arrivati stavano facendo dei lavori quindi per accedere dovevi passare tra le impalcature, secchi pieni di sassi e materiale edilizio (pericoloso sia per noi che per il nostro cane) e avevamo il balcone con tutte le sigarette per terra e le sedie sporche di vernice, non eravamo stati avvertiti di ciò e comunque si poteva mettere un po’ in ordine prima del nostro arrivo, quando abbiamo avvertito il proprietario di ciò non si è nemmeno scusato. Non c’è un parcheggio, abbiamo dovuto parcheggiare in uno più avanti a pagamento per tutto il soggiorno. I soffitti sono bassi e bisogna stare attenti alla testa (ma d’altronde è una mansarda) La scala per accedere è molto stretta e si fa fatica a portare su grandi valigie
• Brian (5/5): - Good location as advertised in the apartment but the photos are very misleading. The apartment is surrounded by scaffolding and being painted, so you can't park there anymore. It is a construction site with half bult roof, tools everywhere, and just really messy. The photos are very misleading, with the beautiful mountain views being shot out of the skylight in the toilet. And the rooms are much smaller than they appear. The apartment is generally in bad condition with lights zapng when switched on or off. Broken rail on the tiny balcony and parts of the steeps leading up to the apartment are also broken. The shower is also in the bedroom, very weird. Before arrival, we were told there was no longer parking and when we asked where was the best for us to park we never received an answer. We found paid parking 12 swiss Frank 24 hours about 10 minutes walk away. This wasn't the closet but was cheapest. The close parking was 30. For 24 hours.

Non c’è disponibilità del parcheggio, nonostante la richiesta all’host non mi è stato indicato alcun parcheggio. Ho parcheggiato in uno a pagamento a circa 5/10 minuti a piedi per 10 franchi al giorno
• Rock (1/5): Deceptive description and unhelpful host. - Prior to arrival at this property, I reached out to the host to verify the fact that it had air-conditioning as our stay was happening during an extreme heat wave. He responded that there was no actual air conditioning only fans in this attic apartment. I told him that because we had reserved the apartment based on the description of air conditioning. We would not be staying there and expected a refund due to the misleading listing. Neither the host/owner, nor Booking.com was helpful in this situation. Though we were initially assured that because the listing was incorrect, we would not be responsible for payment of this day. We never received a refund. We spent hours on the phone with booking and contacted the host multiple times. We are very disappointed in this service and hope that the listing will be changed to reflect the fact that there is no air conditioning so that future customers will not be misled the way that I was.

• Jose (7/5): Good - Great location. Oeschinensee trail close to apartment. Apartament had everything we need. No parking (public parking 800 m from apartament 30 francs per night . I am a tall person 1.95 , ceiling was too low for me.

View is stunning but a bit far from city - The host is very helpful The view is so stunning and calming We had a very good stay all basic toiletries and kitchen appliances are available and location wise it’s not too far from train station The ceiling is quite low kinda limited for anyone above 6ft
• Elizabeth (8/5): Clean, well located, great value - Exceptionally clean apartment and very comfortable beds! Great location close to the train station and shop. Cooking facilities and provided utensils/equipment all good. Left chocolate and some waters which was a lovely touch The ceiling height could be an issue for some, my 6ft 4 husband could just about stand up in the middle of the lounge and in the main bedroom. Also could do with a hook or space to hang things in the second bedroom. The curtains were very thin (net curtains) so there wasn’t the amount of privacy I’m used to, particularly when showering at night I felt I had to with the lights off.

• Filippo (8/5): Perfect location for a short stay in Kanderstag - The property is well-located, just ten minutes walking from the train station. There is also a bus station next to it. The apartment was clean and it is very good for a short stay. Definitely not a place for tall people.

• Lucy (9/5): Superb - A well-equipped flat with beautiful views. It's cleverly arranged, and a lot is packed into a small space - the kitchen is great for a holiday flat, with a proper cooker and oven, and quite a few cooking utensils. The location is basically perfect - a few minutes from the train station, the cross country skiing trails, the shops, and everything else. The owner reacted immediately when we messaged to ask if they could turn the heating up, and they sorted it out straight away. Some of the "non-stick" pans in the kitchen are scratched; it would be safer to replace them with ordinary metal pans (since non-stick pans get scratched so easily). A colander to drain pasta would be good too.

• Weigar (10/5): Great stay in a little town - Cute cosy little apartment with 360° views of the mountain ranges surrounding Kandersteg. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was handy. Because the apartment is pretty much the attic, the ceiling was quite low. I didn’t have too much of an issue because I’m a small human, but maybe an issue for others.
• Christian (1/5): Total BS, reality not what ad promises, stay away. - Worst stay ever. In the ad they stated that the apt: - features air conditioning - they didn't have one, it was a lie. I especially booked it because of the AC, because it can get hot and humid in the summer and I don't deal well with heat. Since it was under the roof, it was stuffy and hot. Opening the windows didn't help much, since there was no wind and the heat just accumulated under the roof and heated up the walls/ceiling. - probably not a problem in the winter. - is recently renovated - not true - its an attic build out with a low ceiling, in the kitchen the ceiling is at 195cm, in the second bedroom probably at 170cm and the doors are probably at 180cm, not even sure its legal what they are doing. Other comments: The (Master) bedroom has a king?! bed but no mattress, just two mattress toppers on top of each other, which made for uncomfortable sleeping. The shower is just in the bedroom on the side, very basic and old The fully equipped kitchen is built under a slanted roof, so you cant stay straight and it didn't have a dishwasher, so much for fully equipped. The towels provided were very small, more on a level of hand an face towel instead of bath and hand towel, hard to dry yourself after showering. Felt like 30 year old student housing in the attic under the roof.

The apartment was so cosy and spacious, well equipped and the many fur carpets made it feel so warm and comfy. We slept like babies. We had a dinner to the most beautiful view. Nothing. Everything was perfect.

• Amanda (9/5): Amazing View, Relaxing Vibe. 100% would go back again - + the view is amazing + 5 mins walk to oeschinensee + nearby mini market Volg, Coop + complete kitchen utilities (yes, we cook there) + amazing bed (master bedroom) I literally sleep so well at night + Fan in the room + 9 min walk from the Kandersteg Station / 3 mins by bus but we don’t take the bus during our trip :) + towel and shower gel + they gave us lots of freebies such as coffee capsule, chocolate, drink :) (yes they have coffee machine) - the shower is in the master bedroom make it difficult for the other guest to take a shower freely - the thin is so wall so u can hear people going inside outside their room - no parking spot. We almost rented a car but thankfully we are not :) - no hair dryer and no shampoo provided

• Andrew (8/5): Great location. Compact & bijou. Great for a night or two. - Bed was lovely and comfortable. Owner moved his car so we could park ours, which was nice. The apartment is nice, small, and clean. Watch you don’t bump your head if you’re taller than 5’8”!! Good little kitchen with everything needed. A little balcony to sit out on. TV with satellite channels. All in all we liked it! There IS hot water, unlike the first reviewer said, but the water pressure is so low it’s hard to get wet under it! Fine for summer, but expect it would be an issue when skiing.
