Important Information

The house is surrounded by mountains and trees, there is a river right outside the property, please note that in dry season the water level is very low so people cross the river walking since it is 5 minutes away from the main road. In raining season ( October & November at its pic ) the water raises so it is impossible to cross it walking so it is a must to walk 15 to 20 minutes depending on your pace through the forest to use the suspended bridge; it is a trail so if you have disabilities I would not recommend it this time of the year, it gets muddy and slippery and you can get wet. Please take into consideration that this is a natural reserve and even though the house has all the commodities of a city the surroundings are somehow wild. Be ready for the adventure!This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. Managed by a private host

Dmitri (10/5): Amazing Jungle Hut - I really liked how secluded and private the property is. It’s surrounded by beautiful jungle with lots of trees and plants, and you can constantly hear birds chirping, which creates a very peaceful atmosphere. The air is fresh, and the water is excellent—clean and refreshing. Taking a shower there feels especially nice after spending time in the heat. The gazebo area with several hammocks is wonderful for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Even crossing the river to reach the property adds a bit of adventure, which made the experience even more memorable and unique. I didn't like that our stay was too short

Arnaud (10/5): Fantastic location on the outskirts of Tayrona NP, in a quiet & beautiful surrounding - Fantastic location on the outskirts of Tayrona NP (10 min walk), in a very quiet and beautiful surrounding. The house is stunning, with 3 double rooms each with its bathroom, a large open patio, in a private garden and with the possibility of swimming in the river just below. You are far away from the road and do not to hear it at all. Rafael and Luz are very attentive (helping to carry luggages, cooking breakfast and dinners on demand, etc.) to make your stay memorable. Massages - much needed after 6h trek in Tayrona - could be arranged as well and were divine. We stayed 3 nights with the idea of going everyday to the beach in Tayrona, and ended up staying the second days relaxing at the house. It was too short a stay...
Margot (10/5): Exceptional - The house is located a reasonable walking distance from the road where the buses run and about ten minutes from the entrance to Tayrona Park. The house is located in a very quiet area, ideal for resting with a beautiful garden and hammocks available. The room and the house in general were very clean. The bedding was very comfortable (mattress much less firm than what you can usually find in Colombia). We did not meet the host but Rafael who welcomed us was very pleasant and available
