The rooms are gorgeous, beds comfortable, the room coffee is the best you'll ever have. The bonus? The shower is a multi-headed spa-style wonder! nothing.

Sudhir (3/5): - Very good location Room keys did not work even after multiple attempts. AC compressor made a lot of noise. Room had to be changed. New room was rather cramped with 2 queen beds. Bed or mattress creaked a lot. Only espresso service in the room. Poor house keeping - did not turn up till 3PM and had to be called. Left the used towels lying on the floor, did not make the beds and kept just one bottle of water for 3 of us. Very poor response time. Not a single time was service provided without multiple calls to reception sometimes taking hours. I will not stay here again.

Gabriela (9/5): Right in the heart of olf Montréal - Excellent location in old Montréal. It's right next to the Basilica. The room was small but clean and cute. The staff was helpful. There are a couple of restaurants in the hotel; we tried the sushi one and it was good. I recommend this place if you want to stay in old Montréal and want to avoid driving around. They charge parking separately and it's not cheap (45 CAD per day). Parking seems to be a complex issue in Montreal so this may be part of that. Either way, it's something to bear in mind when booking.

Lisa (10/5): This is an exceptional hotel in beautiful Old Montreal. I have been coming here since it opened and look forward to my n - The rooms are spacious and elegantly decked out (I stayed in the original section of the hotel). The view of the city makes you feel like part of it whether looking towards it or at the cathedral. The location is across the street from the subway - and walking distance to museums, theatres and great restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful. Wifi is great and you can stream your devices easily to the TV. HPA is my favourite hotel in Montreal.

Room (Superior King) was really large and spacious. Nicely furnished and decor throughout was stylish and charming. I would have loved a room with a bath - especially for a Superior room. Also the rain head shower was very disappointing - the water didn’t flow through the holes properly and just dripped from the rim. We were only staying for one night, so didn’t inform the desk to see if the could rectify.

Monica (7/5): Hotel is in a convenient location with exceptional amenities, but unlikely to stay there again. - The hotel is in a great location for exploring the shops, restaurants, and attractions in Old Montreal. The valet parking, two hotel restaurants, and the on-site spa were very convenient! The room was also very spacious for all of us, and the housekeeping crew did an amazing job of keeping the room feeling fresh and clean, even after we trekked in snow, salt, and slush on our boots after a day of walking! Our room on the 5th floor shared a wall with the hotel gym. All hours of the day and night, we could hear the thudding of people running on the treadmill or dropping weights on the floor. For the cost of this hotel room, I expected more peace. I specifically requested a quiet room when making the reservation, and I can't imagine being placed in a louder room. We were out and about much of the day, but the early morning treadmill users made it tough to relax and sleep in!

LIANNE (7/5): Women's Weekend in Old Montreal - Room was nice. One bed was good. Housekeeping person was very nice and helpful. Fridge was stocked well, but we didn't use it. The main part of the hotel was very nice and the restaurant seemed very high end, though we didn't get to visit. We would return. We were clearly in the older part of the hotel. Needs some clean up in general in this section. There were construction tool in the hallway. The area from the elevator to the room was very worn. One bed was sinking down at the end and not great, but clean.

William (10/5): Wonderful hotel; best in Montreal - This is my favorite hotel in Montreal. I stay there frequently and enjoy it every time. Perfect combination of cool and classy, comfort and style. Great restaurants, staff, common areas, and beautiful rooms. Kyo Bar on bottom level is the best Japanese restaurant in Quebec. Walkable to many key destinations and a block from the metro. The roads, traffic, and mind boggling eternal road construction in Montreal are a nightmare. Not a fault of this property, but a collective disaster in this city that adds considerable stress to a car journey into the Old Port.
