Guest Reviews
- Curtiss (8/5): - Close to beaches, lots of room , heard Tassie devils one night, close to Scamander.thanks for the stay No coffee machine, dirty bbq but was all good. Loved the place
- Stephanie (7/5): A comfortable and peaceful stay. - The property was spacious and the beds were comfortable.
The area was quiet and it was easy to walk to the beach.
There are plenty of outdoor sitting areas.
It was a comfortable property.
The area is beautiful, the beach is stunning and the coastal walk is worthwhile. It was difficult to get into the property because the wrong code for the key box had been supplied. We had to make several phone calls and after waiting for 20 minutes we were sent the correct code. We had been travelling for 4 hours so it was frustrating.
The furniture in the sitting area hadn't been vacuumed, and they were covered in dead insects.
A house number would have helped locate the property.
We were not given the Wi-Fi password and had to find it in the property for ourselves.
A written explanation for the three remote controls was not supplied.
The kitchen lacked a teapot.
- Vanessa (8/5): Relaxing and easy living. - The lounge area was very comfortable and all was so clean. The outlook was lovely and it was very private.
There were many spots indoors and outdoors to have a cup of tea, read a book and relax.
- Marguerite (9/5): We had a very relaxing, enjoyable stay at the Retreat with all our needs catered for and more. -
- David (10/5): Super maison - Maison moderne, propre et bien équipée. Superbes terrasses. Wifi impeccable. Emplacement top, tout près de la mer, au calme Rien
- amanda (10/5): - very well stocked, really great space and place needed more teatowels and kitchen washer apart from that brilliant
- Jarred (7/5): Good - We liked the location, space and privacy We didn’t like the cleanliness of the place inside the bathroom floors and window seals were all filthy, the garden is too over grown and scratches the cars just to get up and down the driveway. No air conditioning or adequate cooling, the place was a sauna on first arrival and was impossible to cool with two little fans. There was a lack of toilet paper which was inconvenience. Hardly any soap in the ensuite shower, water had been added to the soap so it was runny and useless. Overall for the price we paid we expected a lot more value for the money and these items made the stay less enjoyable. It is a lovely property. But for over $500 a night we’d expect the place to be neat and tidy on arrival and have basic amenities like toilet paper and soap easily accessible and an abundance of.
- Curran (6/5): stressful. - The area that the property was in is extremely beautiful. There is always something to do or see Multiple times tried to contact owners about changing booking for emergent surgery heard no reply. then day of booking the group showed up and the property was still unclean. the owner advised that because of an accident the cleaners would be there as soon as they could get out but they did not show up until late morning saturday when the roads had reopened around4-5pm.
- Stuart (8/5): Spacious and clean - Space and cleanliness Loved it all.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Thanks for your email. My wife and I had a great stay and really enjoyed the Retreat.
We would definitely be looking at staying again down the track.
My wife's suggestions were maybe a broom for inside - unless we missed where it was stored and aesthetically some light shades in the bedroom and lounge rooms, but as I said earlier it was even better than we expected so really to say that means we were happy with everything and will let our friends know if they are looking for a nice getaway for the East Coast.
Cheers
Michael
- Chris (10/5): The location is great close to everything and great hosts - Great location Nothing
- Singline (10/5): Exceptional -
