• Kylie (9/5): We enjoyed our stay at The Waratah House to celebrate my parents 80th Birthday. Communication was fantastic. House easy - Lots of space for everyone. Minimal steps and one shower space with no lip meant it was fairly accessible for a family member in a wheelchair. Dog friendly. The glass side doors didn’t lock only the screen with a hook and eye latch. The front door could be open from the inside. Could do with a simple hook latch to prevent young children from opening the door which led directly to the road. Also no ability to lock the bathrooms while using it.
• Jennifer (9/5): A group of bush walking friends who enjoyed so many aspects of area and Blue Mountains - The location of this property is ideal for both access to Katoomba as well as for easy walking to the Blue Mountains and all the delightful aspects it has to enjoy. We travelled by train during the week as this is very accessible in relation to the location of the house. (Just be prepared for the walk back up the hill to catch the train.) We even enjoyed our walk from the house over to Leura for the lovely Open Gardens. There is so much we loved about the house. It is very spacious, with plenty of lovely bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas. It presents well and is very suitable for a group. There are laundry facilities and a sauna, we just would have liked a couple of spare towels and a basket of pegs.

• Herbert (10/5): Waratah House is beautifully renovated, spacious, in a quiet location and a short stroll to Katoomba - Waratah house is in a quite street and yet a short stroll to the main shopping area in Katoomba. The house is beautifully renovated, retaining the charm of the original dwelling. We had 13 guests and a pooch for a 60th birthday and there was ample space for everyone. The central heating kept us toasty warm. Highly recommended. The Wifi was slow.
