Dr. (10/5): A very successful family retreat was enjoyed by all in this lovely setting. - The view from the house up above the lake in the trees is fabulous and the Oak trees ancient and stately especially with the breeze off of the lake are exceptional. The place was perfect for an inter generational family holiday - pets included. At first I was nervous about the stairs to the third floor but that ended up being a perfect quiet zone for Gram and the cat. The other cottagers were pleasant - No loud partying that we heard but the lake house is a quiet place, especially with the A/C running and windows closed..Thank you Barry for helping us find the “lost cat” who hid for hours early on. Turned out he was cosy in the back of a closet just getting his bearings. Jane G and family. The outdoor furniture and decking are old and not initially attractive but once we discovered how shaded the back porch area was we lived out there, playing yard games and cards and of course enjoying the BBQ….A family birthday party was much enjoyed well into the night with very few mosquitos thanks to the breeze. The house is pretty close to a road but again that didn’t turn out to be a problem - pretty quiet place generally.

Jelena (9/5): Superb - The space was as described, clean, bright and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked as well as the bathrooms. We would love to come back!
