Guest Reviews
- Granger (2/5): Unclean, facilities broken and owners not helpful or understanding. Would not stay again, truly disappointed. - Great location Upon arrival, the place was dirty, cobwebs round the toilets, unclean floors and furniture, previous dog hair over the cushions and throws.. Boiler wouldn’t work, we had to get a plumber in to come look at it to get it to work, we tried to communicate with the host about this issue however was met with little to no help and for us to sort it out by getting someone in to fix it causing our holiday to be interrupted and changing gas bottles as well.. The place was not looked after before we arrived and we were disappointed with the amenities seen as we paid £240 for 3 nights. Would not recommended.
- Lydia (10/5): - The accommodation is slightly dated but very clean and comfortable. It has everything you need and more to make for an enjoyable stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would book again 😊

- Sam (7/5): - we enjoyed our stay the weather was lovely it was in a great position right next to the pub The caravan was a bit tired looking needs a bit of tlc there was a big stain on the carpet where the toilet had been leaking for a while and the plumber had to fix it while we were there the pub menu in the caravan was out of date I understand its dog friendly but I feel it does need some updating
- Debbi (5/5): Lovely location, short walk to the beach, near two lovely and very friendly pubs. - Location. We went a day and a half without hot water because we didn’t know the boiler needed to be lit using a naked flame, we thought the gas had gone as it wouldn’t light using the dials. The host said there were instructions but we didn’t find them. She did organise a new gas bottle and gave us some money back…begrudgingly!
- Teresa (10/5): Great stay value for money - Close to the pubs
- Sheppard (5/5): Basic but adequate, we had fun but won’t book again - Only 5 mins from the beach in Anderby creek which we like The caravan was too close to the site pub which had loud music and people drinking too late.
The advert online said bedding was provided but the day before we left I saw a message from host saying we needed to take bed linen

- Jane (7/5): - Location where the van is, is lovely, people very friendly. The pub opposite is very good, food is amazing. Thought the van needs a bit more updating,I know it's had a new floor put down which is lovely, better than carpet when you can have dogs in it. Needs a few repairs some sides panels were coming off, front door sticking and you have to pull the handle right down to get the latch undone. Also some of the blinds are broken. Mattress not comfy at all, did mention this last year when I went and could have done with a good hoover round, didn't look like it had been done when we got there. 2nd time been, but don't think I'll use it again. 😏
- L.c (5/5): Passable - Close proximity to the beach. Veranda is a lovely sun trap. The caravan was in need of a deep clean, blinds and windows were dirty and dusty, cobwebs all over the veranda. There were no clothes horse to hang out wet towels beach wear etc
- Rob (6/5): Nice area, no internet, no hustle bustle a real off the grid experience well worth a few days visit. - Location good, privacy good, warm caravan Not the cleanest caravan, I suspect it’s been empty for a while. The caravan is starting to show its age and in need of some maintenance, broken fittings costing pennies to fix. I was quite concerned about the condition of the boiler, it certainly looked like it had seen better days and I’m wondering how on earth it made it through its CP12 as the soot on the front shows it’s been running badly in the past.
- Jonathan (8/5): Brilliant short stay with a perfect location. - The location is perfect. It was clean and tidy. And had a brilliant sun trap. The only issue was the bed. It wasn’t comfy. Everything else was spot on.
- Josh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lorraine (7/5): Excellent location for the beach - Lovely warm caravan with a lovely veranda and outdoor seating. Very easy walk to a beautiful beach. The caravan is situated next to a bar/restaurant which has very loud karaoke on a Friday evening and a live singer on a Saturday. Very loud till very late which kept us awake.
- Hogan (4/5): Disappointing -
- Alice (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): Lovely property next to a beautiful beach - Perfect property great finish little gem well cared for property
- Jane (8/5): Lovely ☺️ - Location was great
Cosy
Comfy bed The decking and fencing was quite cobwebby so had to sweep it down when we arrived.
Suggestion - The info the owner gave us when we met her was great so it might be good to have some tips written down in a welcome/info sheet. The beach and cafe recommended were brilliant so would be good for everyone to know about if they stay otherwise they might miss out on some excellent food and beach 👍
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional - The caravan is in a great location if you don't want to be in a busy place, beach was a 5 min walk and the pub was a 30 second walk, which was perfect for us, 😄Would definitely stay again, the owner was brilliant, had messaged and rang her a few times and was very helpful. The mattress in the double bed was a little uncomfortable, but wouldn't stop me going back. 😍
- Stella (8/5): Suited me for an over night stay - Close to the beach
