Guest Reviews
- Guest (10/5): A really lovely location with the studio tucked away! A lovely find! - The location was beautiful and the apartment was lovely for our wedding night Everything was perfect!
- Flittle (10/5): -
- Fran (9/5): Great little studio apartment in the middle of the historic town centre. - Super clean, well provisioned and great location. Nothing. I was a great little studio apartment that ticked all the boxes.
- Toni (8/5): Great location for exploring the town, but has some shortcomings. - Central location, cozy, has all the facilities. It is hard to fully darken the room - bring an eye mask if sensitive to light. Somewhat noisy due to proximity to the restaurant and the parking lot.
- Katie (8/5): Comfortable and clean apartment, well presented and in the centre of Arundel. Great for a short stay -
- Sebastian (10/5): -
- KATRINA (10/5): - So clean, perfect location, good price. Had an excellent stay. Would return.
- Giovanni (10/5): -
- Danai (7/5): - Location Heating not working properly, very little coffee , no milk or water in fridge no socket near mirror
- Dominic (8/5): Great location to mooch about town š - Great location
- Matthew (10/5): Would come again, and have recommended to family and friends - Immaculately clean , tidy, quiet , very comfortable accommodation, the kitchen provides everything you could possibly need for cooking purposes, good shower room , the electric oven and hobs work amazingly well (provided you put the pan on the hob to turn it on) Brought my own coffee maker but that a little pedantic of me
- Martin (2/5): -
- Jess (10/5): Perfect stay in a great central location -
- Dan (10/5): Arundel is a great place to visit, lots of cafe, restaurants, shops and beautiful walks. If you want a short break away - Great location! Perfect accommodation for a short break away. Nothing, it was perfect
- Sue (10/5): Perfect stay. - Well equipped, central location, parking, comfortable. It was a little noisy when bin men came but it was to be expected given the location.
- Judy (9/5): Perfect location for visit to Arundel - Very well equipped apartment and the location is perfect for the town and facilities. We know Arundel very well but I think someone who isn't familiar with the area would benefit from a few leaflets or information of local attractions (eg the lido)

- Sue (10/5): Perfect little home from home. - Location, style, comfortable. I liked the fact that I could have a light meal there into of always going out to eat. There was nothing I didnāt like but the security light didnāt come on and also the threshold is a bit hazardous. May need attention.
- Iain (9/5): Beautiful little place to lay your head in a lovely old town. - Warm, comfortable and well laid out. Nothing, it was great!
- Davepm (10/5): - Beautiful place to stay, very clean and comfortable. Really central yet quiet. The shower was excellent and the room warm and inviting. Had a lovely stay for just one night, wish could have been longer.
- Paul (9/5): - The location is fantastic for looking around Arundel. We also cooked one night and the kitchen was very well stocked with utensils etc. Highly recommended.
- Dominique (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Arundel! - Perfect little place to stay in Arundel, right off the high street by a car park. Super comfy bed, great bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, sofa and smart TV, a table and chairs for two. I can't recommend it enough!

- Harry (10/5): Exceptional. - Perfect.
Often places arenāt always 100% as described or have misleading photos however this was exactly the opposite.
Beautiful apartment, great access with private entrance.
Great location.
Stylish, well furnished, ideal kitchenette with all the utensils and cooking equipment you could ask for.
The bed is almost too comfortable that you may never leave.
And at there price point it doesnt make sense to stay anywhere else.
Would recommend this stay 100% Nothing
- Ank (10/5): Absolutely perfect! - Super comfortable bed, spacious apartment and loved the eye for detail in the design. Very centrally located, so we could do everything by food. Loved the village. Hollie was even so nice to let somebody come by within minutes when we lost the key. So sorry for that š. Nothing
- Richard (9/5): - Central
- Celia (10/5): The Studio - Tastefully decorated, centrally situated, clean and comfortable. Restaurant also excellent and very close.
- Kim (10/5): What a little gem!!! - What a little gem!! Stayed for 1 night but wished we could have stayed longer. Studio apartment was beautiful everything you needed, spotlessly clean , perfect location just a short walk to Castle, shops etc. Had a lovely meal on the evening at their restaurant which was delicious š, would love to return. Nothing everything was perfect š
- Ellen (9/5): - Beautiful clean and cosy studio apartment, with lots of nice touches. There is some background noise from the pub garden next door until about midnight on the weekend.
- Lee (9/5): Fabulous apartment with great facilities! - It has so many things you needed for a fabulous stay. Bed was super comfy - shower was great and kitchen was well stocked. Nothing not to like - however a microwave would have been useful, and for people who have difficulty with stairs, it would not have been accessible for them.
Beautiful apartment perfect for me on my business trip - made it feel like a little break!
- Hannah (9/5): -
- Patrick (10/5): - attractive apartment
- David (10/5): -
- Sherley (10/5): Beautiful memories -
- Buster (9/5): Amazing place to stay in a very gorgeous village with - Host was amazing, great communication. The studio its self was beautiful and absolutely perfect for a couple. Really nice, sweet and modern place to stay. Bed was a little hard for us, but still had a good night
- Michael (5/5): Really nice place to stay if you are used to a lot of noise through the night and donāt need a poo! - The property is very clean and comfortable and location perfect. Just a shame about the noise, but may not be a problem to most, we live in a quiet location. Very noisy, Red lion pub next door has a lot of noise and some noise can be heard from the Steakiest below. At some points it seemed as there was people in the room with us as coughing and banging could be heard right behind the bed head. The restaurants freezer is just outside the door and makes noise, beeping when door is opened which is regular when the restaurant is open. People leaving the pub were loud and then proceeded to hang out in the car park at the location, and then spinning wheels when leaving. We were awoke again at 1.30 with more load noise in the car park. Once again awoken at around 6.15 with recycling lorry collecting bottles from the pubsā¦
Also weāre left with only 6 sheets of loo paper, so needed to pop out and buy some. No drama but a basic thing that is supplied in any hotel.
- Philip (9/5): A lovely and comfortable studio in a great location - A microwave would have been useful
- Clare (8/5): Nice time away from home. - Central location could walk wherever we wanted to go during our stay. Clean, tidy, well equipped. Comfortable bed.
- George (8/5): -
- Katie (9/5): -
- Ian (1/5): Shocked and disappointed - Most things until we checked out Check out question
- Kevin (9/5): Lovely comfy, stylish flat in a good location for sightseeing - It was stylish, clean and in a good location for the high street. The host provided fluffy towels, nice bedding and coffee/tea/milk/ biscuits which was thoughtful, and ice cold water! Great for a bit day. If we were pushed to say anything it would only be that we could hear conversations through the wall! It wasnāt a problem for us. Be aware that the car park attendant was prowling at 8.15 am so definitely get a ticket from the machine.
- Thomas (9/5): Great location, would recommend - Great central location.
Nice, clean, modern fit out. Little bit of noise from adjacent restaurant. Wasnāt bad or late though.
Pub garden nearby, but again silent just after closing time, and thatās the deal with being so central!
- Ian (10/5): Amazing! - Spotlessly clean, amazing size and great location! Nothing
- Tracey (9/5): Stunning apartment - Great location. Lovely bed and apartment.
- Melanie (10/5): Beautiful apartment and restaurant in Arundel - Beautiful apartment in the centre of Arundel. A short walk to Arundel Castle. Also, close to The Steakist restaurant which I highly recommend. The steaks were delicious! Nothing
- Mark (10/5): Excellent Accommodation in Arundel - Excellent studio accommodation (spacious Studio!) right in the heart of Arundel. We were just staying for one night and the property was perfect for easy access and comfort. The hosts (at The Steakist restaurant just downstairs) are very friendly and helpful. N/A
- Kevinhaan (9/5): Superb - A very nice and spacious apartment at a great location. The owners were really nice and provided everything we needed.
- Eileen (9/5): Beautiful area . Studio was perfect - Comfortable and very clean
Location was excellent Nothing
- Philip (8/5): Would defo stay again - Location was perfect as in town centre, property had everything i needed for my stay The noise from the pub garden next door until late
- Ali (9/5): Beautiful studio in a fantastic location - Location, comfort, beautifully decorated The step up and down our of the door is awkward (itās a big drop)
The shower toiletries holder fell off the shower wall when we were out (it had 4 tiny travel size on it). Itās not necessary to have this
- Sansel (9/5): Superb - The Studio is bigger than expected, with lovely high ceilings. The fixtures & fittings are to a high standard & the little extras on arrival were very welcome: toiletries, nice teas, coffees & biscuits. Good WiFi & a large TV. There is a fan and heater provided, it may get hot above the kitchen & with lotsa glass, in the hotter months.
The stairs to access the Studio at the back of the restaurant & high street may be a bit slippery for some in the wetter, darker months.
- Bradley (6/5): Pleasant - Quick and easy access..
But no cutlery brought food to cook but no utensils Nothing just lack of cutlery
- Jenny (10/5): Perfect base to explore Arundel - Beautifully decorated and easy self check-in. Super comfy bed and pillows!
- Kayne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (10/5): warm, comfortable and very clean - Location is great, really comfortable and clean
- Dimitra (8/5): Very good -
- Kellie (9/5): Superb -
- Simeon (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (9/5): Had a lovely time in Arundel and had a great place to come home to. - Perfect location Heating went off in the bathroom; couldnāt work out how to put it back on.
- Gold (8/5): Happy in Arundel - Lots of space, well designed and equipped. Sofa functional rather than squishy, bed medium comfort. Ideal for short breaks in the centre of Arundel. Some bin bags would have been useful with instructions on waste disposal, otherwise all boxes ticked!
- Kimberley (10/5): Exceptional - The decor is gorgeous and the location is fab!
- Paulina (10/5): Amazing place, extremely clean with great location - Lovely studio apartment with a great location. Has all the facilities you could possibly need and everything was extremely clean. You do have to pay for parking but itās Ā£8.80 for a whole day which is a very good price and parking is right next to the accommodation
- Desmond (8/5): Very good -
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Corey (6/5): Charming but noise is too much. - Very charming and well decorated flat. Really nice bathroom with great shower. Comfortable bed. Nice and clean upon arrival. Finishing within the suite are high standard. Nice to have stove and fridge to use if wanted. Lovely little market town with lots of shops and great food options. If this property was located somewhere else it'd be gem to return to. This is tricky as without doubt the property itself is superb but the location and surrounding businesses make this somewhere I couldn't suggest staying at.
For starters if you arrive at night you'll struggle to find the property. There is no functional light above the properties door and sign so seeing the lockbox for the key once I did finally get directions from the restaurant was very challenging in the dark. Again without a light above the door you'd never know if that was a flat or part of one of the businesses. Equally about 3 meters from the bottom of the studios staircase on a wall is another cottages sign which throws you off the scent when searching for The Studio.
The property is accessed / located in the back of a commercial business and accessed via a public car park that services multiple commercial business's. Pubs, restaurants and shops. Parking is free between 6pm and 8am otherwise you need to pay.
The directions received via booking.com don't actually help you find the property when dark. Without lighting you'll never see the sign near the door and there are multiple other properties within the car park to add to your confusion. The address of the Studio is actually a Steak restaurant located on the High Street. But, as you drive into the car park, the property you're looking for is basically directly in front of you where your headlights would shine onto up a black metal staircase. Oddly the directions received when booked, insinuate that you'd notice a directional arrow on the ground as you drive into the car park which also points towards the property... Seems super unlikely anyone who's new to the area would be looking at the ground as they drive in... Especially in the dark.
Again this is a very charming property but wow it's noisy. I stayed mid week (Tues and Weds) and I can say there are lots of commercial delivery's and processes in the early hours.
- Keith (9/5): Superb - Really comfortable accommodation. Warm and very well equipped. Great location. It didn't bother us but being next to a pubs beer garden was a bit noisy in the evening.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Stylish, clean and comfortable, very near the restaurants
- Lisa (9/5): Superb -
- Mahoney (9/5): Superb -
- Natasha (6/5): Beautiful great location but noisy and very cold - Beautiful studio and parking really convenient.
Location to high street excellent
Good facilities Very cold!! Even with all the heating on. Air vent open in top velux too high to be closed and extremely noisy at night. Guess this is for ventilation purposes.
No shower gel or any shampoo etc.
property difficult to find and had to call host for lock box code as not in booking.com info anywhere.
Very noisy through the wall I guess itās adjacent to someoneās office. Could hear a manās voice when going to sleep.
- Frances (8/5): Very good -
- Rich (10/5): Arundel's best place to stay! - superb location, lovely host and the apartment is beautifully finished. nothing. It was great.
- Beverley (10/5): Highly recommend the Studio in Arundel. Lovely place to stay and Arundel well worth a visit. - The studio was spotlessly clean, lovely decor, comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was lovely with a large rain-style shower. The location was ideal for exploring the whole of the town, just a 10 minute walk from the station and shorter walks to the castle, cathedral and shops / eateries - of which there are plenty!! Hollie was very helpful with our queries. We didn't use the Steakist restaurant downstairs, being veggie, but it did look very nice. A washing machine would have been the cherry on top of an already iced cake! It overlooks a car park so no views of the sights but it was very quiet at night, which was great.
If you're looking for the cutlery & utensils, it's in a grey drawer inside the main drawer :) Not a complaint - just took us a while to find them!!!
- Ian (9/5): Superb -
- Muhammad (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (9/5): Lovely property & fantastic location for exploring the town & surrounding area -
- Gaynor (9/5): Superb - Lovely place so central
- Glen (10/5): Great location hidden in plain site. Would be even better as a couple exploring Arundel. - Amazing location in an amazing town. Key pick up easy and no issues whatsoever, stayed here a few times for work trips. That good!! Nothingā¦great place to stay.
- Fiona (9/5): Move over....I will be back to stay again! - It was a joy with a lovely clean large airy room/studio with absolutly every thing you could possibly need for a stay. Comfy bed. The kitchen area was excellent should you want to cook a sunday lunch! Lack of regular tea bags!
- Cassie (8/5): Very good - Lovely apartment and great location to get to the high street Very noisy till about 2am with the pubs putting glass bottles in bin and clearing up.
- Lauren (7/5): A convenient well kept little place, but just a few things to note. - The studio is very well looked after, a really lovely little space right in the centre of town. It has most things you could need. Unfortunately it was incredibly noisy to the point where we were unable to sleep much. It was a bank holiday weekend and the noise of the Red Lion pub garden continued until 1am or so. Then by sunrise the sounds of seagulls woke us up - who knew they could be so loud! Also due to check in/check out times we were unable to do any of the walks we planned due to us having our luggage with us. We asked at the Steakist if they could keep our things in the staff room or behind the bar but they said no. Something to bear in mind if only going for one night.
- Graham (10/5): was a pleasant surprise lovely location and very comfortable, very clean and tidy - modern clean feel, well equipped, great location access
- Amanda (10/5): Excellent location. The studio was extremely clean, well appointed and was perfect for our stay in A -
- Mackertich (9/5): Perfect location for a stay in Arundel. The studio is spotless. Looks brand new. - Spotless. In the middle of town. Next to car park (but you need to pay for parking). Easy access. Well stocked with kitchen items, bedding, towels etc.
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Great location and beautifully laid out and designed space with all modern facilities and touches
- Edward (9/5): Fantastic stay, highly recommend and the restaurant is also brilliant - Great finish and location Nothing to report
- Mark (10/5): Wonderful but too short. - Restored and furnished with style and loving care. The manager Hollie was most helpful and kind as was her mother Lisa. Lovely people, lovely place š Nothing negative
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
