• Rene (6/5): nicht zu empfehlen! - Die Wohnung wirkte anfangs vielversprechend, die Bilder überzeugten und die Aufteilung über mehrere Etagen ist wirklich angenehm, um auch mal Rückzug zu haben. Für mich mich die Möglichkeit zur Selbstversorgung ausschlaggebend, deshalb bin ich mit meiner 12-jährigen Tochter hierher. Der frühe Check-In war positiv, die Übergabe unkompliziert. Sauberkeit war okay, aber eher oberflächlich, Sofadecken und Kissen bräuchten dringend eine Wäsche. Die Lage ist top: Der Ausblick auf den Piazza Vincenzo Bellini ist wunderschön, Cafés und Restaurants direkt vor der Tür. Dank guter Fenster hört man den Platz kaum. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert zwar, rumpelt aber ordentlich und braucht ewig, bis es kühl wird, da sie nur mit Schlüssel läuft. In den anderen Räumen gibt es gar keine Kühlung. Der Ventilator am Bett ist praktisch, aber nachts viel zu laut. Internet war I.O, der TV ist etwas träge. Richtig enttäuschend waren die Mängel: Im Bad wurde Holzlaminat verlegt, völlig unpraktisch. Es ist aufgequollen, zieht Feuchtigkeit und hat uns leider Silberfische und mehrfach Kakerlaken beschert. Dazu war die Duschbrause defekt. Am schlimmsten: Der Kühlschrank, für uns entscheidend, funktionierte nicht. Trotz schneller Rückmeldung vom Service blieb er während unseres 9-tägigen Aufenthalts kaputt. Damit war Selbstversorgung unmöglich. Eine Lösung oder Entschädigung gab es bislang nicht. Schade, denn Catania war wunderschön, die Unterkunft jedoch enttäuschend. Zum Schlafen reichts, für mehr nicht.
• Katsiaryna (1/5): Я прошу частичный возврат средств так как объект проживания не соответствует описанию - Понравилось только расположение Не понравилось то что газовый баллон на кухне не исправен. Газ идет не в плиту а в комнату , даже завтрак я не могла приготовить. Я написала в агенство но моя просьба была проигнорирована . Вообще это существенно повлияло на отдых , ведь я отдыхала с детьми а к итальянскому завтраку мы не привыкли .
• Verified traveler (2/5): Disruptive Stay - Very disruptive stay. Toilet not working, hosts had no sense of urgency. How disappointing the communication and service has been from management company/host offers its guests when it comes to concerns or issues. But when it came to the multiple fees charged separately before check in, the communication was great. I’ll start with the positives 1) easy to find, 2) Vincenzo, the welcome agent who greeted me at the apartment. He was lovely, welcoming and spent time reviewing the apartment and attractions in the area. 3) found the bed firm but comfortable. Cons 1) toilet did not work after one flush. (No I did not clog it despite what they are trying to accuse me of) a little toilet paper is fine, right!? No toilet access the following day. I messaged the management company in the morning. Went to my tour and still no response. I messaged the welcome agent who immediately told the company to reach me. Finally a response. I described the issue a few times and they said they wanted a video. They would not accept my multiple descriptions of it not flushing. I left my tour early to take a video as they would not send someone. Finally a video was sent, I had to check back once again, as they do not give you updates, and was told they contacted the owner and didn’t realize they had to book a maintenance person. Perhaps they’ll come tomorrow, who knows. 2. The apartment is not meant for anyone with disabilities or have trouble with very steep stairs. The bed is on a mezzanine a
• Julija (3/5): Disappointed - The location is great. Only a few minutes from the centre. You can find a nice restaurant around The stairs are awful. With every step, you think that your foot will fall into the step. The carpet looks disgusting. The fridge is so small and smells terrible. Is so hot in the kitchen. There is no air conditioner, and you can't open the window. Locker(if you can call that hook "looker") in the bathroom is broken,so you can't even lock the door. The property wasn't cleaned properly.
• Szabadszállásiová (8/5): Very good - The apartment is cozy, spacious and located in the center of Catania. The balcony has a nice view of Piazza Vincenzo Bellini. There was a wardrobe missing. The cable from microwave oven didn t reach a plug. The fridge was small and smelled of fish.
• George (8/5): La douce vita. - Nearly everything, from the quirky wee lift to the marble and wooden stairs. There is a hover a washing machine, which was great as we got our flights cancelled and could freshen up our clothes. A tele, wifi,kitchen appliances. I could go on, and I will. The location is like something from an Audrey Hepburn film. Balcony looks out to a Lovely Blocked square( you should ditch the old air con unit it spoils the look ) The view in this fairly quiet during the day, but lively at night is a working fountain and stone slab seating some great little ( very grown up ) cafes/restaurants the locals use them a fair bit. And of course there is the theatre of Ballini, it is drop dead gorgeous and lit up at night. If you want a place that's an easy walk to the centre of town but far enough away you can have a quiet relaxing lunch, coffee or some wine this is where you want. Oh I almost forgot its blocked of to traffic, but there is off road parking round the corner. There is the odd scooter zipping through, but hey it is Sicily. The air con struggled a bit to cool the mezz bed area. But there is a fan upstairs you can use to help the cool air up. The stairs are a little steep and narrow to the bed and bathroom. Im am XL and past my youth. And I really can't think of anything else.
