Guest Reviews
- Yisim (10/5): I would stay there again, in a heartbeat. - It was a very convenient place to stay. It was very nice, clean and comfortable. Plus with the fencing, it was private. I liked everything about the property.
- Laura (9/5): Nice location and a please little oasis near the river in Tucson - Location was nice and the casita was bigger than expected with coffee and tea provided. WiFi wasn’t great, however cell signal was good so could make a hotspot.
- JanetN (5/5): Did not meet basic cleanliness and 'readiness' expectations; - The host was very responsive to the first 2 problems we discovered... unfortunately there were many more. Cleanliness being a huge one. After we left I emailed the host using the email from the unit to give this feedback, but I never hear back, Hence my comments are now public as I don't know they'll be fixed otherwise. I expect he have WOULD have been responsive, but as we needed to leave early each day and came back late we just gave up. Plus a guest should not have had to find these issues. We did like (and use) the washer/dryer. Needed clean dishes The gasses were filthy... food stuck inside! It is expected the prior guest is supposed to wash them. This is NOT sanitary, and one does not know what and where else they used the sponge.
There were no paper supplies. No paper towels, Kleenex, or paper napkins, and only the one, partially-used roll of TP. He did bring TP and Kleenex tho by then we already bought paper towels and Kleenex.
The place needs at least ONE dresser and some drawers. There is nothing. We bought a used luggage rack else luggage would be on the floor. It needed a 2nd chair for the kitchen table. Was only 1 chair at a computer table, in the whole place for 2 people. He brought another.
We discovered the bedroom window was unlocked the entire stay. We should not have to check for this.
We stripped the bed (as we always do) to find that the mattress cover was not very clean either.
There is no fan in the kitchen, so cooking sets off the smoke alarm which one much climb on something to silence. It was not safe. Hence we cooked with the doors open... but there are no screens, and ARE mosquitoes.
It would be a cute place if these (serious) issues were resolved.
Last... the comments about the barking dogs are valid. Not the host's fault... but expect to hear them during the day and night, or use earplugs. Dogs are dogs and will bark.
- Lise (9/5): -
- Keith (9/5): Great value in Tucson - Privacy and cleanliness Small bathroom but worked perfect
- Sires (7/5): The place was clean and good for a quick weekend vacation. The area was my concern. - The place was close to all the areas I was interested in visiting. I was concerned about the next neighbor dogs and how safe the alley was. My car was out in the open in the house parking lot.
- Elizabeth (10/5): A few minor drawbacks, that said we would stay again! - Conveniently located near The Loop. Private, no traffic noice, comfortable spacious bright studio room. Loved the patio. Great kitchen essentials. Great handbook. The kitchen didn’t have hot water for doing dishes. We just got hot water from the bathroom.
The neighborhood has lots of back yard dogs. We turned on the bathroom fan to create white noise.
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Larry (8/5): Great Stay. - I loved the space, the kitchen and laundry area. Parking space was tight and questionable because there was no view of the parking space. Also delivery for food was a bit confusing for drivers because of the alley delivery request.
- John (10/5): Exceptional - clean
private
- Downey (7/5): It was very comfortable. - Arriving was good. Finding the one detail in the text message that clearly states how to find the entrance is very important to read. We needed a place to cook our food instead of eating out and this had what we needed. Unfortunately we could not leave our trailer there, which is not the properties fault. We will definitely be stating there the next time we're in town. I will agree that the dogs barking can be annoying, but the area is very quiet otherwise, again not the property owners fault.
- Jill (10/5): Diamond in the rough! -
- William (8/5): Overall I enjoyed the room...suggest installing a small hook on the inside of the bathroom door - Location was convenient TV was difficult to use
- Shenan (9/5): Superb - Nice tiny home-fill quilt and private parking with entrance. The bed is very uncomfortable and the bathroom a little bit too small
- Gary (6/5): Pleasant - Clean Parking very tight and in a bad neighborhood backing an apt complex with homeless all around. Checked if my vehicle still had wheels every morning.
- Garrett (3/5): Nice little apartment. Not sure about the host. - The property was clean and nice. The host provided a can opener upon request. If you need a microwave in your kitchenette, this apartment isn't for you. After I pointed out that the bed squeaked a lot if you're lying down and shifting around, things got strange.
Not long after, I asked to extend our stay. Booking.com wouldn't let me extend online. The host said it is available for the extension, but then pushed me into making a new reservation, causing me to pay the one-time fees twice. When I said I'd rather not pay the one-time fees twice, he just said the apartment is no longer available.
- Nihar (10/5): Good and private location - Good location; very private; parking is a positive Occasional barking of dogs from neiighbors
