• Rutger (9/5): - Locatie was top, op loopafstand van het strand, restaurants en de bushalte naar Palermo. En heel prettig dat er een veranda en voortuin was waar je ook kon zitten. Ontbijt was uitgebreid en vers, heerlijk de geur van versgebakken cake. De auto konden we achter de poort naast het huis parkeren, we hadden een suv waardoor het iets passen en meten was bij het in- en uitrijden. Roberta was een hartelijke, enthousiaste, attente en geïnteresseerde gastvrouw maar ook haar collega's ontvingen ons heel gastvrij. We zijn niets tekort gekomen. Een puntje van aandacht; de douchecabine was wat gedateerd en het putje was niet afgedicht waardoor het er wat minder aantrekkelijk uitzag.

• Jamie (9/5): Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but were disappointed that vegan breakfast food was not provided. - Location was fantastic! Very comfortable, quiet and clean! Breakfast was insufficient for my family's vegan dietary requirements, despite that my special dietary request was recieved and confirmed by the staff several weeks in advance. We actually had to buy breakfast food elsewhere and thus, didn't receive the full value of our stay compared to guests who ate meat and dairy.

• Teresa (10/5): 100% recommended - We had a wonderful stay thanks to Roberta and Pamela, who treated us exceptionally well from start to finish. We were travelling with our baby and they were always there to help with everything, even offering us their kitchen whenever we needed to sterilise baby items. Every morning we woke up to the amazing smell of freshly baked cakes, which made the place feel incredibly warm and welcoming. Everything was spotless, the rooms were very spacious, and overall we would highly recommend staying here.

The location was so convenient for our stay and our host gave us lots of great recommendations for places to eat. The breakfast was exceptional. A decent hair dryer in the room, massive bed and shower there were even beach towels for our use. Beautiful garden and very secure. All other guests were friendly. Roberta organised a taxi back to the airport. Also tv with Netflix Thank you for a wonderful stay. N/a Not applicable
• Glynis (10/5): Exceptional B&B with exemplary service and facilities - Everything we expected and more from this comfortable and spacious B&B. At checkin we were greeted by Roberta a friendly, helpful and truly committed professional. Her enthusiasm for her business and desire to meet your every need shines through in everything delivered. She also offers free concierge service with bookings for trips, taxi and restaurants. It was so good to have her recommendations which we followed for the local restaurants which worked well for us. The wonderful breakfast which includes delicious home made cakes and a clean, large room with balcony (we had a standard room) was a real benefit for our week long stay. Things to note are a large bathroom, daily housekeeping service (this isn’t normal for UK B&Bs) a fridge which is stocked with cold drinks and enough room to add your own, extra tea and coffee available throughout the day in the dining area, lovely outdoor seating area in the garden. Roberta and her staff looked after us so well we will happily return and recommend this property to others. A special note - this delightful B&B is only steps away from the beautiful Mondello Beach and really good restaurants.

Das Frühstück ist liebevoll und sehr ansprechend angerichtet; besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass sie sogar selbstgebackenen Kuchen anbietet. Auch die Mitarbeiterin überzeugt durch ihre Freundlichkeit und Sorgfalt – die Zimmer sind stets in einem perfekten Zustand.

• Cheryl (10/5): A wonderful relaxing stay a a beautiful beach. The perfect way to end a busy vacation traveling all - Our room was very spacious and decorated in a modern beachy style. We really loved that it was such a convenient location with the short walk to the beach which we went to every day. The staff was always available to answer our questions and booked a taxi for us for our early flight out in the morning.

It was our first bed and breakfast and we couldnt have been happier. Roberta and her staff was great. Very attentive and quick to respond. She gave fantastic recommendations on places to eat and where to go. We would live to visit the again in the future.

There is a smart TV in our room with free Netflix which was a bonus. The rooms are conveniently located within walking distance to the beach and a bus ride into central Palermo. Roberta provided a lovely breakfast every morning Would definitely stay there again if I were to return. The mattress on the bed was very hard, however, I found most mattresses around Italy to be the same.

From the moment we arrived, Roberta made us feel truly welcome with her outstanding hospitality and care. She goes above and beyond to accommodate her guests in every possible way, making the experience feel very personal and special and she’s pure authenticity of Sicilian holidays. Breakfast on the beautiful garden terrace was a highlight each morning. Roberta bakes her own cakes daily – each one more delicious than the last – and everything was presented with so much love. Pamela, who helps run the B&B, deserves a special mention too. She makes the best coffee to start the day and ensures the rooms are spotless, inviting, and comfortable throughout the stay. The combination of warmth, attention to detail, and genuine passion for hosting makes Mondello Design B&B stand out. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mondello – you will feel like part of the family. We can’t wait to return! From check in to check out, entire stay was smooth, restful and with the amazing care of the host. The property is in a great location, beautiful residential area with serene front garden and only under 3 minutes walk from the sandy beach with turquoise sea and everything else you need during your holidays. This is a destination for people who love the beach, want a good breakfast, and the greatest host in all of Sicily. Let’s talk about Roberta! She is a star! We were greater with the most infectious energy and treated like kings. Roberta knows everything and everyone. A reservation? Car service? Restaurant recommendations? Fabulous boat tour? (do it) she knows who to call and everyone loves her! She could teach a class in running a Bed & Breakfast. The property itself. So much space, beautiful porch for breakfast, lounge areas, and STUNNING rooms with great showers, private balconies, air conditioning and a fridge. Everything you need. The entire place is white and immaculately clean with beach decor, but chic, not tacky. The Food! Everything you need and more, they provide great coffee, breakfast staples, and delicious pastries baked daily and presented beautifully. Pamela takes care of the cooking and cleaning. She is lovely and talented. I could not recommend this place enough. So close to the beach. We were on our honeymoon, but there were also two families with kid’s. Everything was perfect. Roberta. The room was modern, light and airey and had a nice balcony to relax on with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. The owner. Roberta, is really bubbly and nothing was too much trouble. She made us feel really welcome and dealt with all our requirements perfectly. There was nothing to dislike about the property. We had a wonderful time, the facilities were great and Roberta and her team made our stay really special.

The B&B owner, Roberta, and her staff, Pamela, were SO kind, welcoming, and helpful. Roberta helped us organize taxis with her connections, provided recommendations on what to do in Mondello, and was very communicative throughout our entire stay. The B&B was perfectly located, walking distance from the beach, and quite comfortable (even though it was hot, we had AC which was a great reprieve from the heat). Roberta bakes cakes every single morning and provided the most wonderful B&B breakfast that my partner and I have ever had! Pamela also helped us make the most amazing cappuccinos every morning! My partner and I looked forward to this every morning and it was one of our favorite parts of our stay :) Roberta even allowed us to store our luggage at the B&B after checkout since we had a late flight out of Palermo. This is not always a guarantee, so it was very much appreciated and helped take some of the strain off from travel. We had such a great time at Mondello B&B Design and can't wait to return!

Our highlight was the incredible Roberta who owns the bed and breakfast and also Pamela who always helped us when we needed something. The breakfast is amazing. Everyday freshly baked cakes and amazing food. You can feel that everything is made with love. It is super clean, our room was amazing. We just needed to walk 5 minutes to the beach. All in all we had a great stay and we will for sure come back.

The bed was comfy and we loved the huge bathroom and the big refreshing shower after a long Beachday. Roberta had many tips where to eat or what to see in Mondello or Palermo and also fulfilled our little „special needs“ here and there. She was such a great host and a very loving person! Her breakfast always contained fresh fruits and cakes that were still warm. Everything tasted so good and we saw that Roberta is really dedicated to make her guests happy! :) we will definitely come back! Thank you so much Roberta!

• Brad (10/5): Amazing host, Steps to the beach - Roberta is one of the most energetic and wonderful hosts you could have. The breakfast, which she makes daily, is a selling point in and of itself. The property is beautiful and the beach is a couple blocks away. Door entry wasn't the best - sliding door but the knob was coming off, so you had to use your fingertips to get it open. That's really the only thing I can think of for improvement.
• Keith (10/5): We had a lovely time at B & B Mondello Design - B & B Mondello Design is a bright, modern, clean, comfortable building with a nice outdoor area for guests to relax in. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away. Breakfast is generous and tasty and includes delicious cakes home made by host Roberta. Roberta could not have been friendlier, kinder or more helpful, suggesting restaurants for us to eat at and places to visit as well as helping us to plan excursions by public transport or arranging taxis, We found the bed hard, but that's a matter of taste.

• Jasmine (10/5): The best host, gorgeous luxury rooms and amazing breakfast - Oh, wow, Roberta is the most amazing host and such a beautiful human. She really made the stay so incredible and nothing was too much trouble. Needed a lend of towels for the beach - she had us covered (didn't have to pay to use the towels). Delicious gluten free breakfast - sorted. Roberta left out tea, coffee, cakes and snacks after breakfast. Netflix in the room too! Very comfortable beds with lovely white bedding and fluffy towels. The room was spacious, modern and beautiful with a stunning balcony by the pretty garden. I adored it. Very luxurious stay with the friendliest host. Would 100% stay there again if I ever visit Mondello. No complaints whatsoever.
• Jasmine (10/5): Everything you need in comfort and luxury with the most amazing host. - Wow, Roberta is a phenomenal host and she made the stay so wonderful. The property is beautiful, it's on a quiet stunning street with pretty villas just a few minutes from the beach. The b&b villa is gorgeous and in such a pretty garden. The room is luxurious and modern - we stayed in the Akkura room. We had a balcony, crisp white sheets changed daily, fresh fluffy towels daily, and a spacious huge shower. Netflix in the room was a touch I really loved as usually hotels only have Italian TV - we were exhausted from day trips and loved one particular evening spent relaxing in the super comfy bed watching Netflix. Nothing was too much trouble and we're very grateful. Roberta was flexible with our arrival time even though it was Easter and she made sure she was there for us - thank you so much. When we needed towels for the beach for the day, no problem whatsoever, she let us hire beach towels for free. Gluten free breakfast, no problem. Anything we needed, she sorted it. The breakfast was beautiful and delicious. She let us take our breakfast to the pretty balcony which I really appreciated. I really appreciated that Roberta left out water, tea, coffee and baked goods for guests to snack on throughout the day. Even 5 star hotels don't look after guests so well - and we stay in 4-5 star hotels often. Really amazing host. If we hopefully return to Mondello, we will 100% stay here again. Thank you lovely Roberta. Perfection cannot be improved. Perfect stay. No complaints whatsoever.

I have a bad neck and asked for extra pillows and the hosts were so kind and accommodating. I felt so welcome and taken care of. Absolutely incredible property and a great value. The property is so close to the beach and in a beautiful setting. Highly highly recommend. Stay here you will not regret it. 10/10. Nothing it was perfect.

Everything you could want and was made with care and dedication to pleasing the guests. Great location for walking everywhere. Super clean and comfortable. Modern and upgraded accommodations. The breakfast was superb - fresh cakes made by Roberta on a daily basis & available throughout the afternoon with tea or coffee service! Cannot say. We enjoyed our stay. For future clients visiting Mondello, please be aware the beaches get very crowded on the weekends.

• Nikki (10/5): A beautiful hidden gem in Sicily .. fantastic & enjoyable stay - The breakfast was amazing .. with a selection of freshly baked cakes everyday along with savory continental style options / cereal / coffee / tea & the option to have eggs anyway you like ... omelets, poached etc. A truly fab breakfast to set you up for the day with a very hospitable & friendly host. We will definitely return ... Our stay was too short :-(
