• Samuel (10/5): We were happy happy guests in the happy happy bungalow. - Fantastic, spacious bungalow, in the middle of nature, you will be surrounded by really nice views of the rice fields. The host family, who live in the big house next door, are very attentive, kind, and warm people who will make you feel at home 100%. If you like a more isolated retreat in nature, good food and a big room, you'd love the happy happy bungalow of happiness! (PS: book the taxi to get there with them, their drivers are very skilled). We felt immersed in vietnamese culture. We went on a fantastic trek with May through the rice fields and waterfalls where she taught us some local plants and other things. Food was great 😁 we had all of our meals with the family throughout our 3 days stay. Nothing it exceeded our expectations if you're looking for a more remote, immersive experience.

Cao e la sua famiglia sono stati gentilissimi e accoglienti, ci hanno accompagnato in un’escursione spettacolare attorno alle celebri risaie di Sapa tra corsi d’acqua, vasta vegetazione e animali tra cui mucche e bufali e abbiamo dato una mano a raccogliere le piante per cibare i maiali della fattoria in cui abbiamo dormito. Le capanne con i letti sono molto graziose e il rapporto qualità prezzo è incredibile. Costudiremo quest’esperienza nel cuore e ricorderemo sempre la cordialità e la gentilezza di chi ci ha ospitato. • Guest (10/5): Highly recommend - The homestay was truly wonderful. Everything was simple and clean. The hosts were very friendly, attentive, and took care of guests like family. The space blends into the mountains and forests, allowing you to fully enjoy the beauty of Vietnam’s highlands. You can also learn a lot about the Red Dao culture from the hosts. Highly recommended, and I will definitely come back

Gleichzeitig konnten wir uns im sehr stilvollen Bungalow jederzeit zurückziehen oder geführte Ausflüge zu Fuß oder mit dem Motorroller machen. Das gemeinsame Essen und die Reisernte waren echte Highlights. Vielen Dank für die unvergesslichen Tage!

• Krishnakumar (10/5): Must stay for authentic Vietnamese experience | Veg food options also available - It felt like a very authentic Vietnamese experience to stay at Happy Happy bungalow. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We were served vegetarian lunch and dinner as requested and everything was delicious. We also did the motorbike tour with them and it was one of the best experiences in Vietnam. We got to explore rice fields, local farms and neighbouring mountains. I’ll definitely recommend doing the tour with them if you’re staying here. They also have a puppy and a cat and they just enhance the entire experience ten-fold. It really was a happy happy stay for us.
• Mgbechi (10/5): Perfect homestay ❤️ - May and her family were the perfect hosts. Cao’s and his wife’s cooking was amazing, very tasty, clean and fresh food, plus it was such a lovely experience eating together with the family. The bungalow was so cozy and very clean and in a perfect location away from the madness of Sapa. Trekking with May was a lot of fun, walking to the waterfalls and the bamboo forest, the views along the way were breathtaking. The herbal baths were much welcomed and a slice of luxury on a rainy day. Overall we loved the three nights we spent here and would love to come back..
• Kirushthiga (10/5): To have been hosted like a queen! - I don't think I could do justice to May and her family in my review but it was life changing! From the minute I booked to my departure, May and her family were incredibly welcoming. The three nights I spent here are sacred because I came as a guest and left as friends! May is a superwoman, she is an excellent tour guide, safe motorcyclist, fabulous chef and the best host I have ever had. The bungalow is in the most magical setting and to have delicious breakfast every morning immersed in a green oasis is special indeed. Cao (May's son) provided excellent communication and was always on hand to help. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe my entire trip. I thoroughly enjoyed the trek, the herbal bath and motorbike tour! I also loved all the dinners I had and May's culinary expertise meant she was able to adapt the meals to my taste- i.e. extra spicy! I will make it a point to revisit Vietnam, just to stay with May and her family!
