Guest Reviews
- Happytaff332 (10/5): - Location and it was luxury as stated
- Victoria (6/5): Average accommodation but good location. - Easy check in, great location and clean comfortable beds. The flat is looking tired with some damage to walls and sofa. Fairly clean but lots of dust and carpets needed a good hoover. Oven did not work and the baking tray was covered in rust and frankly only fit for the bin.
- Alison (8/5): - Well equipped kitchen, flat very roomy, pleasant views, windows that open, balcony nice for drying beach stuff. Flat lovely and clean.
Beach and harbour only 50m away, easy walk to Tesco and handy Pizza van selling GF and vegan pizzas! Being so close to a road that carries a lot of traffic. Hot weather meant that we had to have the windows open so it was noisy. Traffic died down between midnight and 7am though and its fine with windows closed.
Nowhere safe to stop to pick up or drop off keys.
Parking being 100 metres away, up steps and down a slope would be difficult for anyone with poor mobility.
- John (9/5): Good apartment, in an ideal marina Swansea location for getting around. - Good size apartment in a great location near the sea front and close to central Swansea and shops. Ideal for working and exploring. The parking was not in the apartment block, it was just down the road, and tight to drive in and out of.But on a good point, very secure.
We could have done with more cutlery and crockery in the property for three or four people.
- Jayne (7/5): IT WAS OKAY FOR A SHORT STAY - GOOD SIZE APARTMENT WITH ALL FACILITIES REQUIRED IT WAS A VERY NOISY LOCATION ESPECIALLY WITH TRAFFIC, IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP WELL WITH THE WINDOWS OPEN, BUT IT WAS THE VERY HOT MAY BANK HOLIDAY AND IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP THE WINDOWS SHUT AS EXTREMELY WARM. THE NOISE FROM TRAFFIC AND PEOPLE JUST SEEMED TO ECHO IN THE VICINITY OF THE ACCOMMODATION BLOCK. THE SETTEES WERE VERY LOW, THERE WERE QUITE A FEW SWEET WRAPPERS UNDER ONE OF THE SINGLE BEDS, THE BLINDS DID NOT WORK IN THE TWIN BEDROOM AND ALL IN ALL I JUST THINK IT COULD DO WITH A LITTLE BIT OF TLC.
- CLAIRE (8/5): -
- Deborah (7/5): Nice apartment in good location needing some TLC - Location and size Needed good clean and a few minor repairs
- Paul (9/5): Great location, clean and tidy and would definitely return - Simple instructions to check in and get key. Near, tidy and in great location Some wear and tear but to be expected in a holiday rental
- Gareth đ´ó §ó ˘ó ˇó Źó łó ż (5/5): Great location but dirty. - The location is superb, 5min walk to the centre, next to the beach, close to car parks. Great location. This is anything but Luxury. Maybe when it was first built. The accomodation was dirty, in desperate need of a coat of paint EVERYWHERE, All the walls were grubby, the glasses and cups in the kitchen were dirty. The hosts were really unresponsive. Had sent several messages and did not get a reply. I sent another message using the telephone number they provided early on the morning of check in day and got a response after check in time which was too late. Tried using the car park but could not get in. The shutter was down and the only instriction was how to open the 2nd shutter not the first. So we ended up parking in a pay and display opposite for only ÂŁ5 for 24hrs.
- John (7/5): -
- Neil (10/5): Great - âWe had a very good stay at the apartment. It was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was convenient, and everything we needed was provided. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to others.â
- Rochay (10/5): Comfortable - Easy access parking just a small walk away from the apartment, apartment was better than expected Liked everything will definitely go back
- Zhuowei (8/5): lovely place to stay, great location -
- Karen (3/5): Very disappointing. - Convenient location for beach and arena. Shower had good water pressure. Definitely NOT a luxury appt. Sofas were so low down they were really difficult to get out of. Cushions missing too.
Very poor state of repair. Very superficial cleaning. Decor shabby.
Car park impossible to find at night. Took us about 45 minutes! Host kept referring to alley "opposite Co-Op" This shop was hard to see in daylight as it is set back off the road and very discreet shop face. Needs much better directions.
- Alexis (5/5): Aerage - Location was good but we know Swansea well so we knew where we were going to be. The apartment is very tired and showing signs of wear and tear. Sofas very uncomfortable. There was lumps of fluff under the dining table and overall the property did not feel as clean as we would expect.
CAR PARK
We ended up not using the car park as the area is very small, turning is tight and the allocated space very tight, There were signs throughout the garage area of where cars had scraped or marked the walls so we decided not to risk any damage to our vehicle. We ended up using a car park up the road which was very reasonable at ÂŁ5 for 24 hours.
- Krzysztof Kuca (8/5): -
- Paul (7/5): - The location was excellent and the size of the apartment was good. The apartment had a lot of faults. There are several decorating issues which should be repaired. There are numerous iron burns on the carpet in the two bed rooms.
- Helen (10/5): Excellent location - Good location. Spacious. Comfortable beds. Could do with a bit of freshening up with paint. Few holes in walls.
Minor things to be honest.
- Morgan (10/5): -
- Jonathan (10/5): - Location was excellent and everything I needed was in the apartment There was damage to the settee and a iron burn mark on carpet, also could have been cleaner as there were hairs on the floor and needs si.e painting
- Lesley (8/5): - Reasonably comfortable and clean. Decor is tired, and general refurbishment needed.
- Dan (8/5): - The location was key for us. It was brilliant. The flat was warm and homely. Beds were great. Kitchen equipment was basic.
- Mendis (10/5): We needed a place for the night and eat at leisure. This was ideal. - Everything was good. The coop was handy. Nothing
- Erika (10/5): -
- Fry (10/5): -
- Peter Blackwell (9/5): - Great location, great value for money
- Prosper (10/5): - The property situated in a good location for holiday, the person i spoke to over the phone was helpful. The hand basin in the toliet is block, the table in the room was dusty.
- Melanie (7/5): -
- Jonathan (4/5): Needs some tlc. - Location Rough around the edges. Dents in a few walls. Windows which didn't close and the balcony door was faulty.
Smashed picture frame on the wall.
We found broken glass in the rug and what looked like blood spots on the pillows.
The bathroom sink doesn't drain properly and is a faulty tap away from flooding the apartment.
- Jakub (4/5): - I can not fault the location, the flat is central and close to everything you might need for a city break. The flat was very dirty when we arrived, and it looked as if it was not cleaned for some time, and there was hair all over the carpets. The flat also had several issues, plug sockets that didn't accept plugs in them, not all the heaters worked, the washing machine had an issue with the door latch but luckily it engaged after some fiddling. The flat looks tired and needs a repaint and there are holes in the drywall in some places, and the dining table looks like it's balancing on three legs as the fourth is broken but still attached. And the balcony door also could not be opened but that could be intentional.
- Sian (8/5): -
- Loreta (7/5): - Good location, It's very noisy from the road..
- JA (8/5): Roomy flat in great location - Great location. Good sized apartment that was clean with interesting decor. Kitchen had everything necessary. Beds very comfortable with very nice linen. Bit disappointed with part of the accommodation description. The balcony overlooked the main road into the marina and the sea view was just a glimpse from the main bedroom.
- Ian (8/5): -
- Brenda (10/5): 2 bed apartment close to marina. - Had an enjoyable time excellent value for money near to marina bars and restaurants. Nothing at all.
- Shirley (5/5): Sleepless in Swansea - Central location. Comfortable apartment.
Everything that you need for a comfortable stay is there. Oh my goodness....where to start
The directions given to us were very misleading. What the agent/owner failed to say, is that your alotted parking space is not at the building where the apartment is.
It didn't tell us that the point of collection for the key, was the location of the flat.
So, we picked up the key, followed the directions to our car park. Off loaded our luggage and proceeded, to what we thought was No 4. On arrival, we were unable to gain access as the key didn't fit! . Now this could have been very embarrassing had the owner been home, finding us trying to gain access to their property.....not a good look.
I phoned the owner/agent who eventually explained that the apartment was further back down the road in the block where the key had been collected from.....which makes absolute sense, but does not read that way in the directions.
When I suggested that her directions were less than clear and that she altered them to explain that the car park is not near the apartment, but that there is a loading bay 50 yds from the apartment where you could off load your luggage and then the driver proceed to the car park.....she didn't feel the need for that. So, consequently, us 3 older ladies had to carry our luggage, in 32 degree heat, about 200 yds, back to the apartment.
It was all very confusing, frustrating and totally unnecessary when the loading bay was so close.
Although the apartment is very comfortable and conveniently situated for Swansea Arena, shops and beach, it is EXTREMELY noisy, all night long with traffic racing up and down outside. So, none of us slept well at all.(loading bay seen in photo No 4 by the postbox)
- KATARZYNA (7/5): - DuĹźo miejsca.Blisko wszÄdzie do morza i innych atrakcji. MaĹo wyposaĹźona kuchnia.
- julie (8/5): - Very clean and tidy The parking space / car park is very tight if you have a big car !! It wasnât the easiest car park
- Kelly (8/5): Very good - Excellent location, very clean great communication Noisy neighbours banging on the main door in the early hours
- Clewley (7/5): very convenient location to stay. - location is the saving factor with this apartment as its very central and close to where I needed to be. one of the beds was very noisy being a metal frame it made and awful lot of noise every time you moved unfortunately. This is obviously a well used flat as the walls are dirty damaged along with picture frames broken and iron burn marks in the carpet. the ironing board is broken so useless. not really equipped in the kitchen either people must eat out who stay here. shower leeks more down the pipe than comes through the shower head unfortunately luckily a comfy bath.
- Sarah (7/5): Great location for event at the Arena - Great location for event at the Arena. Spacious. Hot in property but with windows open blinds tricky as rooms very light or noisy with wind blowing blinds. Master bedroom en-suite locked off??
- Andreea (10/5): Very nice location - I like everything,The sea is 1 minute away
Clean apartment,spacious,and modern
We had a great time.We sure weâll come
Back here .
- Michael (7/5): Good -
- Rory (10/5): Great apt.would stay again - Great apt. Very clean. Tidy. 5*s Be careful parking at night. The car park is very tight. Especially if you have a larger SUV type car. During the day its fine.
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelly (10/5): Excellent location, lovely for a short stay - Exactly what it stated, lovely location, clean tidy and comfortable N/a
- Sian (5/5): Adequate. Needs some tlc. - The double room Difficult to get to. Hassle to find parking spot. Keys werenât available and no explaination of how to use fob.
Door handle of bathroom was broken.
Broken frame on picture. Sofa well worn and grubby.
Table by setees not dusted or cleaned underneath.
Lightbulb fised in double bedroom
- Burgess (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (9/5): Swansea Break - Good location - quiet, very close to the arena where we were seeing a Manic Street Preachers two nights. Town centre and supermarkets very close by. Beautiful sandy beach behind the apartment. The flat was spacious, airy and clean and had everything you needed in it. Bed was comfortable. The car park. It wasn't very clear how to get out of it and I hit all the side of my car and the door handle came off. Only after did I realise I could get out the other end of it. It was also hard to get into the space aswell especially having a bigger car.
- Sarah (1/5): The worst experience and very stressful! - The location We arrived and the property was unkempt, filthy, and dated ! Definitely not as stated and far from being luxurious! We contacted the property and booking.com and had very poor communication with no resolution! It ruined our stay and I ended up trying to clean the property as best as I could without any sign of a hoover being available there
- David (6/5): A great location with plenty of space but a little rough around the edges. - Fantastic location, very spacious, comfortable bed, parking was a bonus. Very clear instructions for finding and entering the property. It was surface clean and bed sheets were clean but overall it wasnât what I would call clean. There were limited items in kitchen, e.g. no washing up bowl and no plug made it difficult to wash up, similar problem with washing in the bathroom as the sink had no plug. Broken vertical blinds, iron marks on the carpet, a tear and marks on the sofa; it felt a bit like the guests before had maybe partied very hard.
- Gareth (6/5): Pleasant - The apartment itself is in great location, was set out well and was comfortable, the staff were helpful and informative. However, the cleanliness really wasnât up to standard which unfortunately let down the good points of the apartment.
- Melody (6/5): A good place to stay. - Location fantastic but the property had quite a lot of signs of wear and tear. Bathroom door handle was broken and the front door was hard to open and close.
- Helen (6/5): A pleasant and comfortable apartment but attention needs to be made to the details - The instructions to get into the property were incomplete and unclear Some details need to be attended to - for example the handle on the bathroom door was loose, some windows didnât lock, some blinds were broken. There was no guest information booklet. The property was good overall but more attention to details such as this would have made a big difference.
- Faris (9/5): Superb -
- Melissa (5/5): Location good and bedrooms comfortable with nice furniture , towels provided and tea/coffee sachets available - Great location and comfortable beds, nice furniture in rooms. Broken blinds in lounge, 2 iron marks burnt into main bedroom carpet, bath had hair in it and dirty window seal, balcony window very dirty could hardly see out! Locked room in master bedroom possibly an ensuite- very odd!
- Jemma (5/5): Passable - Size of the apartment, lift, location between seaside, town and the uni, parking included, internet, host provided soap, toilet roll, washing up liquid, towels etc.
Heating was quick to warm up.
Host was quick to reply to questions. It wasnât âluxuryâ (as advertised). Two windows did not close and other handles were broken, blinds were broken, the shower sprayed most water sideways which ran under the screen and onto the floor, walls were marked in all rooms. Surfaces had been cleaned but handles and switches were dirty/sticky and skirting boards were thick dust.
It simply needs a few repairs, painting and a deep clean.
- Angela (6/5): Pleasant -
- Paul (7/5): Good - Helpful video on how to use heating. Guide to access the apartment very clear. Place clean and comfortable bed. Some repairs required on the bathroom door.
- Sarah (9/5): Very clean, comfortable and spacious - Fantastic location, very clean, comfortable and spacious . Everything we needed for our 1 night flying visit. The car park. Though secure is extremely tight to get in and out of and we only had a ford focus. It is some way from the property and directions weren't very clear. Maybe we were a bit thick but the entrance door to the apartment block is to the left of where you stop to pick up the keys (which you must get to access the carpark).
In the master bedroom there is a locked door which looks like it may be an ensuite, so as it's a 2 bedroom property it would be nice to have that in use
- Mick (8/5): Very good -
- Dan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phillipa (5/5): Not as good as it could be - Location, underground parking, washing machine, good size space, nice big bath Lack of cooking utensils, bakeware, dirty fridge with sour milk over the shelves, generally un clean, no hot water on arrival, no plug in bathroom sink, kitchen sink plugs didn't fit, fan in bathroom not working, door handle on bathroom comes off. Needs some TLC
- Tom (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (8/5): Apartment in good location but poor communication - Location Was told We could check in 1 hour early if I paid ÂŁ10 extra. Said I wanted to do this, no answer, so asked again but still no reply. As I couldnât check in the hour early as had been offered, we had to park elsewhere & pay to do so.
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mohammad (9/5): Good location - Car park was tight for a big car It was ok
- Deborah (8/5): Very good - Convenient location for the university open day We got confused by the carpark, you have to collect your keys to gain access to the carpark. The entry/exit for the carpark is very tight
- Zak (7/5): Nice and comfortable - Had a cool style and was a good location with good parking
- Elika (10/5): Great value for money - It was great value for money and we were impressed with the size and cleanliness of the apartment.
- Kim (6/5): spacious flat in a great location but need to change their mattresses ! - Location - walkable to the town centre
Right by the beach front
Convenience store ver near by
A few restaurants near by
Free parking near by (but quite tight ) The mattress - just the worse ever.
student halls mattress was marginally better !!!!! We had bad backs afterwards
After first night said sleeping in the car would be more comfortable !
Why ??? Why have such a terrible cheap and nasty mattress ???? Same for the single mattresses in the other bedroom !
- Jan (8/5): Very good - Great location, comfortable beds. Car parking space was very narrow even for small car.
No plug in the bathroom or kitchen sink.
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carwyn (6/5): OK for a night - Good location Bathroom not completely clean and apartment looking a bit tired.
- Dave (9/5): Superb - Excellent little apartment, great for a city break and very close to the beach. Really nicely furnished. The key safe was a little difficult to open
- Janet (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable. No number on building and they all look similar. Clearer instructions on which building, the need to pick up key first, then how to use fob for both car park and building would have helped.
- Christine (9/5): Comfortable and roomy with lots of interesting activities within walking distance. - Lots of space and a lovely flat in a great location. The furniture and facilities were good. The decoration was very interesting and well thought through. There was storage and space to eat, use my laptop and do yoga. The flat is due a refresh on the paint but that's excusable. I would have liked if there were hand-towels in the kitchen and bathroom. There was a closed off room in the master bedroom - a possible en suite? It was a bit of a tempting mystery and if we'd been a bigger group the 2nd bathroom would have been a big help.
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanne (7/5): Useful place to sleep for the night. - Good location to the marina Parking- once we found the car park (the directions were pretty minimal) the car park itself was very tight. We didnât use it as we were in a large SUV and we werenât convinced we could make the turns to get to the underground space.
- Lai (3/5): Poor -
- Scot (8/5): Very good -
- Joel (10/5): Perfect for family get away, clean and tidy - Car parking secure and underground, clean tidy apartment on the Marina and close to the beech. Staff were on hand to help with queries. Location
- Stephen (4/5): Just about good enough - Not a luxury apartment. Smells of damp, poor quality furniture. Bathroom has a leek and overall needs painting.
Directions are poor. Best part secure parking.
- Sheridan (7/5): Good - Very very clean, nice style and super location Nothing i really didnt like, the only pain was the car park spaces are not made for real size cars
- Roderic (8/5): Very good - comfortable and quiet and clean couldnt watch tv
- Caroline (7/5): Good -
- Emma (6/5): Pleasant - Location
Spacious
Well equipped Struggled to get into parking and apartment rang and messaged but no reply.
No curtains, very light in rooms with blinds
- Kim (8/5): Short but sweet - Location & facilities. No info about car park prior to arrival. Collect the keys first and then you can access the private car park! Just a bit of messing around moving cars that wasnât needed had we known.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Joey (9/5): Superb - Excellent location and assigned parking which is also secure. Be warned that the parking may be tight to navigate for larger vehicles. The apartment is just opposite the beach and within walking distance to shopping areas.
The owner was kind to provide tea and coffee. Place is very clean and welcoming. Communication is great with the owner, very responsive and they provide a direct number so you can call any time if you need help.
The film interior theme is a unique touch.
Highly recommend this place. Will be happy to book again myself if returning to Swansea.
- Catherine (7/5): Good -
- Paul (9/5): Great stay in Swansea - Excellant location, mini market across the road, 5 minute walk to local restaurants and 10 minute walk to the centre of Swansea. Apartment clean with good wifi and smart TV.
- Janine (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location for the arena to see Gladys Knight was an excellent easy check in very helpful contact just home from home and very comfortable Did not know we had to get the key for fob to garage so you can park the car and the car park not easy to see however very close and accessible when you know where it is right next door on the left the sign covered by foliage
- Glenys (7/5): Good -
- Duncan (9/5): Superb -
- Edward (9/5): Superb -
- Caro (6/5): Pleasant - Good location, with parking The temperature in the appartment was really hot. The price was high for what it was. Not many kitchen utensils
- Charlotte (9/5): Superb - Property was in an excellent location. Comfy beds. The balcony door didn't lock. Could of had bath towels
- Nicholas (4/5): Very poor - Location was good for the event Property was dirty, tired and in poor condition. One of the beds had slats that were screwed to the bed and fell apart and it was a very dirty experience
- Qilin (10/5): Must have in Swansea - Perfect location. Perfect facilities. None
