- Jennifer (10/5): Quiet and clean with everything you need, just a step away from nature and short drive to big sights. - We loved everything about it. The pods and facilities were super clean. The animals looked in great shape and well loved and it was lovely that we were able to interact with them. The Indian runners were a laugh and it was nice to watch them go to bed in their island village in the evening. We upgraded to a hot tub which was well worth it too. The pods were very warm, we slept with the door open which was nice. We have stayed in these types of pods before and found them incredibly cold. There was also everything we needed to have a cosy night in given the weather warnings. It would have been nice to have a few hooks for wet coats/towels but we managed.
- Pamela (10/5): - Great location
- Stephen (5/5): Pod Yes. Ducks lake yes. Hot tub only saver of the trip. The rest.. not up to standards. - The pod itself was nice and hot tub was probably a life saver of the trip.
Though power kept cutting out if you used sockets in the pod for toaster or kettle.
Lake and ducks great fun. Goats good, chickens caged in. Other animals seen once in huge fields. Shower. Bearly hanging on its station. Mould around the shower. Damp all over the unit nd on roof. Door broken. Random bucket nd hose left at the side of unit assuming that what they used to clean it aswel as the used mob and bucket in there.
Cobwebs nd rust not freshly made spider webs everywhere.
Toilet more or less the same. Both units didn't feel clean enough.
Shared kitchen and water supply fair distance away from pods.
Games nd dvds in there.
Though the smell in there was unbearable the kids couldnt go in there bcoz of it.
Games room old snapped up darts. Pub pool table and two pub bandits.. kids ermm well yeah.
Gym was fair.
- Natalia (3/5): Nice farm but terrible POD - The farm was lovely and great campsite so a great site for camping. The manager Ailsa was very helpful too. Unfortunately we left a night early because it is impossible to sleep in these pods! The mattress was very cheap and plastic and you feel the frame as you lie down. My back was aching the morning after and I didn’t sleep. My mum slept on the sofa bed which doesn’t pull out but is more like a bench and is extremely narrow! Worse nights sleep! She couldn’t sleep on the plastic mattress as she has a bad back!
The PODs are extremely small so no room to do anything and we had trouble locking the door! Took a while as it kept jamming!
The kettle was leaking and the fridge froze all of our food so we had to throw it away!
The decking and tables were filthy and dangerous in the rain too!
I’ve stayed in lots of PODS and this is by far the worse!
- Julie (8/5): Very good - Location was lovely. It was very quiet at night. Pleasant stay The mattress was a little uncomfortable.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Enjoyable short stay with the grand children 😀 -
- Lucie (10/5): Absolutely beautiful and would definitely go back - Absolutely beautiful
- Roxanne (8/5): Fab Get Away! - Perfect little site for a peaceful getaway. Perfect location. Bed was a little uncomfortable but expected for what we were doing.
- Alan (9/5): Good Value , Great scenic location. - Very friendly and helpful host and the Pod was clean, smart and well equipped for a couple of nights away. Setting with Pods arranged around the lake and large trees shielding the road was absolutely lovely and best of all the group of ducks occasionally gliding past ! Nature reserve virtually next door is worth a visit and after advice from the host we cut through it to the riverbank as a great route to the pleasant local pub in Fiskerton - turn right when you reach the bridge. After the pub detour we headed over the bridge for a 5 mile walk into Lincoln alongside the river Witham. Midweek taxi fare back was a reasonable £14 (Sept. 2024). Didn't expect to be walking to Lincoln when we booked , so just sums up the great location ! Didn't use it myself but apparently the shower could have been better (door not sealing properly and shower head possibly a bit clogged). Was mentioned to the excellent host so I'm sure will be addressed.
- Bridgette (8/5): A great stay if you love camping. - It was in a convenient location, host was very friendly and helpful. Sharing toilet, bathroom and having to go outside for the toilets.
- Charlotte (10/5): Perfect - Absolutely outstanding all round beautiful place most friendliest host nice and relaxing environment Could of been a park for the kids
- Jadie (8/5): Lovely break - Lovely farm, friendly staff, clean environment.
- Gemma (8/5): Amazing stay, will definitely be coming back - The location was beautiful and very calming, the pod itself was very comfortable and homely, all the animals were friendly and I loved feeding them with a cuppa on the decking in the mornings Nothing I didn’t like but could do with a welcome basket with essentials milk tea coffee sugar etc or a fire pit for the evening but also understand why they don’t have one with a fire risk
- Toms (10/5): Exceptional -
- Edward (10/5): Perfect place to stay I want to bring my family back! - Excellent location!.. love the farm and the wildlife! Love the geese walking around and the chickens! Love the goats and the opportunity to feed the animals! The pod was just as expected and the views are stunningly beautiful 🤩
- Newton (9/5): Superb - Staff where really nice and gave us a show around and shew us the animals when we first arrived. There's a big field and a game room which me and my friends spend a lot of time in. You are provided with dvds, books and games which is nice for e quiet night in.
- Jack (8/5): Very good -
- Suzanne (3/5): Definitely NOT Glamping. - The location. It was clean. That it was advertised as ‘glamping’ when it’s clearly a camping pod! No heating on, on arrival, when we were the only people (with a small child that we had confirmed the age of) staying on site. No hooks. We arrived in the dark and the path had no lighting. We were the only people staying but not placed in the camping pod opposite the toilet and shower, and when the weather was terrible! The main ‘bed’ had the most uncomfortable mattress and the frame holding the mattress was shorted then the mattress. Doesn’t feel ready as a place to be open to paying customers. Really overpriced especially when considering we left after the first night (we had booked to stay for two nights) to go and stay at Woodland Waters where we had a whole lodge for the same price per night.
- Purplemick (10/5): I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.The hosts are welcoming,warm and professional.Highly recommended. -
- Brian (9/5): Superb -
