• Andrea (10/5): A true gem of a homestay! - The husband and wife that run this homestay are absolutely lovely, we really enjoyed our stay here. They helped us organize a day tour around Ninh Binh, provided free bikes for us to use to explore the area, and served a wonderful breakfast with plenty of options to choose from. It felt very peaceful and secluded. We were very happy with our room overlooking the pond and the nice little patio. We enjoyed the pool after a long day of exploring in the heat. Thank you for a great stay!

• Andrew (9/5): - This place is a gem. The place is beautiful and looks like the pictures, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The owners are exceptionally kind and accommodating. They make a delicious made-to-order breakfast (included) daily. We would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Ninh Binh. There is one guest cabin that isn't on the pond, and this was not at all clear to us when we booked the stay. We were disappointed when we arrived and discovered that we'd be staying elsewhere - but the cabin was still nice, clean, and close to the water.
• Daniele (10/5): - Wow! What an incredible place. It is a peaceful retreat in a beautiful area. The owners were truly wonderful and made us feel welcomed and cared for. You can tell a lot of love was put into this place and we will not forget the generosity shared by the hosts! Room was beautiful and breakfast was amazing. If we come back to the area, we would not hesitate to book here again!
• Jason (10/5): - We loved everything. The owners run this small priority themselves and are amazing people. Every morning they cook a fresh breakfast with delicious coffee. The location is a gorgeous landscape that you normally would have to pay extra on a tour to see. The rooms/huts are large with very comfortable beds and air conditioning. There's only 5 huts so it's not crowded. Ultimate relaxing. The pool is very nice and clean. It's very quiet here also with motor bike rentals and bicycles to use. You can also get a Grab/taxi to town from here for just a few dollars usd. We will be returning in 2 years and will definitely stay here again.
• Ximonie (10/5): Tranquil, private and beautiful property - Lovely room overlooking the pond. Fantastic pool, good size. Beautiful gardens. The owners were lovely and very attentive and helpful. Comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast - choose the evening before from a menu and they make it when you are ready. Chicken and noodles was good, plus coffee. Borrowed bikes to ride to Trang An boats. And short ride to Hang Mua. Peaceful location with cafes, small mini marts and restaurants nearby. We didn’t try to go into Tam Coc or Ninh Binh town - happily stayed nearby.

• Pia (10/5): Herzlichkeit überall spürbar und sichtbar! - Die Unterkunft ist großartig! Die Lage ist toll - wir konnten mit den Rädern die Gegend erkunden und sind von der Landschaft beeindruckt. Auch war die Entfernung bis zur Bootstour in Trang An mit dem Fahrrad gut zu bewältigen. Die kleinen Häuschen sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders betonen möchten wir die Herzlichkeit des Gastgeberpaares! Das Ehepaar ist so bemüht, den Aufenthalt unvergesslich zu gestalteten. An Herzlichkeit nicht zu übertreffen! Für unsere Weiterreise haben wir ein kleines Lunchpaket bekommen! Wir würden immer wiederkommen!

• Wesley (10/5): Beautiful comfortable stay with lovely hosts. - This place is so special, beautiful, unique, and comfortable! We were surrounded by nature, its beauty and peace, yet close to the city and attractions. We borrowed the free bicycles the first day and easily got to all the places we wanted. I enjoyed the big in ground pool and the comfort of the tiny house we stayed in. The hosts were fantastic the entire time, so helpful and hardworking! It shows that they care deeply about their property and their guests. We can’t thank them enough for making our stay here so wonderful!

• James (10/5): - We have stayed in some amazing homestays in Vietnam but this was the best - in terms of friendliness, setting and standard. It's such a beautiful place with a luxurious swimming pool, leafy gardens and lovely little bungalows. They have free use of bicycles which we used to get to Trang An in about 15 minutes. The family are so kind and the pho meal we had each breakfast tasted so fresh. Highly, highly recommended

Der eigene Bungalow war einfach perfekt – ruhig gelegen, sehr sauber und mit viel Privatsphäre. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Pool, den ich täglich nutzen konnte – ein echtes Highlight! Das Frühstück war jeden Tag ein Genuss: Man konnte im Voraus auswählen, und alles war frisch, liebevoll zubereitet und qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Was den Aufenthalt aber wirklich besonders gemacht hat, waren die Betreiber. Ich wurde unglaublich herzlich aufgenommen, fast wie ein Freund. Sie haben sich viel Zeit für mich genommen, waren immer ansprechbar und haben mit ihrer offenen Art eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre geschaffen. Vielen Dank für diese tolle Erfahrung – ich komme definitiv wieder!

When I was sick, they brought me electrolyte drinks at no cost and checked in on me regularly as a solo traveller to make sure I was okay. They wouldn’t accept any payment for their kindness. The facilities were great, the location was convenient, and the free bike hire was a nice bonus. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Beaucoup de choix (à faire la veille) pour le petit déjeuner. Eau à volonté. Le plus remarquable c’est le calme. Pas de travaux ni de karaoké aux alentours. Coqs et chiens lointains. Incroyablement calme ! Sinon, le homestay est un peu éloigné des resto et autres lieux de vie mais avec un vélo ou un scoot il suffit de 3 mn. Possibilité de dîner sur place en dépannage. Très belle et grande piscine parfaitement entretenue. Le couple hôte est très gentil et plein de bonne volonté. On peut juste regretter que, même avec l’aide de Google, la communication ne soit pas simple.
• Lydia (9/5): A beautiful place to stay around the rice fields. - The primate huts on the pond were beautiful! Even in the off season I loved feeling like I was surrounded by nature. The couple who own the property were lovely and let me keep using the bikes even after I had checked out. The shower drain in my room was a little slow, so there was a lot of water in the room, but other than that minor thing, everything was wonderful and I wish I could have stayed longer.

• Van (10/5): Great value, hospitality, and very pleasant stay! - This homestay is within minutes drive from Mua Cave and old town Hoa Lu. Our room was clean, very comfortable, quiet, and had a gorgeous view!!! The host couple was very friendly and attentive. We pre-ordered breakfast the night before, and they served homemade breakfast with fruits and coffee. They also had bikes to borrow for free, we biked around the neighborhood before checking out in the morning. We definitely will come back!

Un joli lieu qui pourrait être encore plus agréable. Beaucoup d’humidité dans le bungalow (taches de moisissures sur le plafond et dans la salle de bain. Avec une forte odeur cachée par du parfum. Les transats sont vieux et les matelas étaient tous sales. Les feuilles mortes ne sont pas ramassées sur les terrasses des bungalow. C’est un peu dommage, ça fait un peu mal entretenu.

Plus, as we arrived late and there were no open restaurants, they actually made us dinner. On the last day, they not only let us leave our bags, but also allowed us to use the room to take a shower and get some rest. No other words, just perfect hosts.

• Lefebvre (9/5): Magnifique et comfortable lieu où résider tout près de paysages de rêve. - La chambre est splendide et très confortable! Le lit et la literie sont un rêve, il y a des lampes chauffantes au-dessus du lavabo, et plusieurs bouteilles d’eau sont offertes. Le personnel dévoué, aidant, le lieu est magnifique. La piscine semble très agréable mais il faisait trop froid pour que je puisse en profiter lors de ma visite. Des vélos sont prêtés pour explorer la région, le « feel » est « campagnard » et c’est une toute autre expérience juste après Hanoï. Des options d’activités organisées à faire sont proposées à prix raisonnables. J’aurais aimé rester plus de deux nuits. Le personnel vous aidera à organiser vos transports, vous n’avez pas besoin de tout planifier à l’avance. Le déjeuner inclus n’est pas particulièrement bon, et le café qui l’accompagne est le même café instantané qu’offert dans la chambre. C’est un peu dommage vu l’extraordinaire offre de cafés partout au Vietnam. Mais pour le prix, ça ne mérite pas une véritable critique. Il y a plusieurs restaurants à distance de vélo (mais comme j’y étais pendant le têt, ce fut impossible de les tester). La baignoire est très agréable, mais c’est très long de la remplir et le chauffe eau somme toute petit fait beaucoup de bruit quand on ferme le robinet et tente de relaxer. Encore une fois, pas une véritable critique vu le prix. Le petit frigo fait aussi beaucoup de bruit et la nuit j’ai dû le débrancher pour dormir. Aussi, ça manquait de lampes de chevet pour pouvoir lire le soir dans une lumière agréable.

The property is peaceful, relaxing, with a great pool and very sweet kitties. The hosts provided a yummy breakfast and lots of cold waters. We were also able to rent a moto bike from the hosts. We'd definitely recommend staying here.
• giovanni (10/5): - la struttura è molto curata, Il gestore è in grado di soddisfare le richieste e dare informazioni per apprezzare le opportunita' della zona. Presso la struttura abbiamo affittato il motorino che ci ha permesso di raggiungere ristoranti e luoghi turistici. La camera è spaziosa e silenziosa, il letto grande e comodo. la colazione non è a buffet e quindi può risultare un po' limitata. Il nostro bagno aveva la vasca e a fianco la doccia ma che sinceramente non siamo riusciti ad utilizzare se non entrando nella vasca perchè non abbiamo trovato dove potesse scaricare l'acqua.

• Stuart (10/5): Fabulous location, great hosts. - The most beautiful location we stayed in Vietnam! The bamboo huts are very cute. Comfortable beds. We were worried about mosquitoes... but for our stay (3 days September) we had only one bite. Breakfasts are basic but good. We had banana crepes and Chicken Rice. Best restaurant nearby is Grandma's Garden. Property offers free bikes. They are functional, albeit old and not well maintained. Seats not adjustable high enough for those over 6'. That said ... I'm 6'1 and I managed OK to get to/from Mua Caves, and to/from the restaurants. It's a bit distant from some activities if you don't want to bike.

• Erik (10/5): - Tolle Lage mitten zwischen Bergen und an einem kleinen Teich. Die Besitzerin war sehr freundlich und hat uns Tipps für den Aufenthalt gegeben. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und die Betten bequem. Nichts. Alles perfekt.
• Thomas (10/5): Best spot in Ninh Binh - Beautiful location and fantastic facilities. Were welcomed in kindly by the couple who own the place. We really appreciated the water & hospitality they provided us, especially breakfast which was yum! We booked the garden view room, and still saw mountains. Awesome to have access to bikes as well. • McLean (10/5): Didn’t want to leave! - The friendliest, most helpful hosts ever! Despite 24 hours of constant rain, they made our stay wonderful. Absolutely beautiful garden and pool. Very peaceful retreat. Excellent breakfasts. Loved using the bicycles.

• Emily (10/5): Beautiful area, lovely hosts, delicious breakfast and wonderful room - We loved staying at Hang Mua eco Garden. The room was beautiful, cool and clean, breakfast was delicious and made fresh as you arrived, and the owners were so friendly and helped us to do washing and rent bikes. The accommodation is in a lovely, quiet part of ninh binh but close enough to travel by bikes to all the major attractions. We had a brilliant time 🥰 Nothing - all was wonderful :)

• Mario (8/5): Muy buena opción a buen precio - La atención del matrimonio que regenta el hotel. Te alquilan bicis gratuitas y la ubicación es muy buena para conocer lo esencial dando un paseo en bici. Calidad-precio está muy bien. El desayuno nos gustó mucho. Además nos hicieron el favor de darnos el desayuno un poco antes de lo normal, ya que teníamos que coger un transporte a primera hora de la mañana. Las habitaciones estaban limpias. El estanque al que dan las habitaciones no es especialmente bonito, aunque las vistas de la montaña no están mal. Por desgracia no pudimos disfrutar de la terraza porque en el estanque había miles de mosquitos. La habitación no tiene caja fuerte y le falta un poco de mobiliario. Aunque puede ser puntual y no es culpa del hotel (no lo tengo en cuenta en la valoración), en el homestay de al lado estuvieron de karaoke toda la noche y nos afectó al sueño.
• Bethan (8/5): - Lovely property in an amazing location. The owners are so lovely and cannot do enough for you! If you’re arriving early from a sleeper bus/train there is no reception or facilities to use to freshen up until your room is ready. The only downside for us is we booked the property because of how quiet and peaceful it was commented on in reviews, however, the pool is shared with the public and was full of small children screaming making it very unpleasant as we were after a quiet retreat. When we left for our next sleeper bus they offered us an empty room to shower in before going which was such a lifesaver and very kind of them. I would recommend this place as it was so lovely but it’s not a quiet relaxing environment particularly over weekends.

The staff went above and beyond to help us and let us use their facilities to shower and change before and after we checked out. The free bikes were so helpful to easily get around to all of the main attractions. The pool was also great would definitely recommend!
• Charlotte (9/5): Beautiful stay in Ninh Binh! - The hosts are a lovely couple and are what make this place so space. They’re incredibly friendly, always wanting to help and going above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need during your stay. The accommodation is calming and welcoming, in a peaceful location outside the centre but near enough to good amenities, and only a short grab away from anything further out. Can’t recommend this place enough!
• Stéphanie (10/5): Séjour incroyable dans un bel environnement - Beau complexe tenu par Ngoan Hà et son mari qui sont d’une extrême douceur et gentillesse. Les bungalows sont très propres et cosy. La piscine est très agréable après une chaude journée. Ngoan Hà s’est occupée de nous réserver notre bus de nuit. Après notre dernière journée de vélo et avant de prendre le bus de nuit, elle nous a gentiment permis de prendre une douche chez elle. Idéalement situé entre les deux principaux sites Tam Coc et Trang An, nous avons pu tout faire en vélo qui sont mis à disposition gratuitement. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement Rien
• Camille (10/5): Petit coin de paradis - Nous avons adoré séjourné dans cet hôtel ! La chambre vu sur le lac était vraiment bien, spacieuse et fonctionnelle. La piscine est vraiment un vrai plus, très bien entretenu ! Petit déjeuner très bien. Les gérants sont exceptionnels, très gentil et serviable. Nous avons loué un scooter et le rapport qualité prix est au rendez vous. L’emplacement est idéal pour aller à Trang An, Mua Caves, Hoa Lu ainsi que dans le centre de Tam Coc. Encore merci!

• Patrick (10/5): Beautiful and relaxed stay - We felt very comfortable at this place! The couple who runs it are very friendly, polite and helpful. They helped us with the scooter, laundry and let us stay at the pool and shower after our checkout, because our train left in the evening. Breakfast is good and you choose the evening before. They offer free water all day. Our room was comfortable and clean, we liked it. It is situated outside of Ninh Binh in direction of Trang An, Mua cave is just 2km away. We loved the tranquility, but you reach a lot of cafés and restaurants in only few minutes with the free bicycles or a scooter. Would definitely come here again!

They made the stay 11/10 with their kindness, generosity and professionalism. Please stay here, you'll love it too!
• Katie (10/5): Lovely relaxing quiet sanctuary - Loved the accommodating staff. Brand new pool has been built. The rooms are lovely too. Really like the location away from the busy streets and nice and quiet. They offer free bikes and also you can organise rental of a motor bike for cheap through the accommodation.

Friendly, attentive customer service and clean/well equipped rooms ar - We were given (free) upgrade to the room with water view, very clean and well furnished rooms indeed. AC was ice-cold which we all loved. Very attentive and friendly host. The kids and us parents had a well-rested night and a wonderful breakfast the next morning. We’ll choose this place again the next time we visit this area. None

• Jacob (10/5): We had an amazing time here and the couple who hosted us were so kind. They helped us with a late check out time before - Beautiful room in an amazing location for visiting Ninh Binh. Our hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. The setting is beautiful. Nothing - we loved it!
• Beckie (10/5): Exceptional - The property was in a quiet and beautiful area. We were able to access tourist sites such as Tam Coc and the Mua caves by bicycle that the hotel provided for free. There are some small local restaurants nearby if you didn’t want to head into Tam Coc. Our hosts were lovely, they ensured we had everything we needed and provided us with unlimited water and a touch when we went out in the dark. We felt well cared for and looked after. The room was great, we overlooked the water and it felt very private. The air con worked very well and the bathroom was spacious. I would recommend this place.
• Neil (10/5): - We had a fantastic stay here. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the hosts were so kind and generous. The location is perfect, an easy bike ride to all of the major sites in tam coc and trang an. The bikes are provided free of charge. The best place we stayed in Vietnam; couldn’t have asked for better.
• Jane (10/5): Lovely location a couple of hours south of Hanoi with delightful hosts and great rooms. - Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We had most of our meals there. All were excellent. The setting was lovely and our room large and private, with a large ensuite. Balcony overlooking small lake with mountains around. Bicycles were provided and it was a short ride to the cafes and restaurants in the village. The hosts also recommended and organised tours for us. We had a few very hot days, but really there was nothing we didn’t like.
