So much to do in the area it's a great central base.
Highly recommend Travellers Rest and King's Head for pub teas and The Inn in the Vale next door has nice cakes.

- Joanna (9/5): Superb - A lovely chilled location for a couple of nights away, just myself and the dog. The Shepherd’s Nook had everything we needed, very comfortable, safe, clean, a little home from home, the dog loved it. We slept like logs and woke up to beautiful sunny scenery. Loved having our own private little area and being able to sit outside and have my morning coffee and watch the lambs running about.
A very tranquil escape!
Louise our host was great, the little touches of fresh eggs and milk were very welcomed.
