The bedroom with the bathtub didn't have any curtains, which meant that the light would shine through first thing in the morning. There was no dishsoap to clean the dishes with, so used the hand wash instead and rinsed them out.

• Melissa (8/5): A large apartment in a good location to visit Richard III exhibition - The big rooms, comfy beds and bath in the main bedroom. Location was excellent for where we wanted to visit. The toilet in the main bedroom kept refilling and refilling. It also smells very damp in there. We finally got it to stop but used the other toilet after that. The shower head in the bathroom has a leak so water sprays out of the side rather than just through the head.

The flat is air-conditioned, spacious, and clean. It would be helpful to note that there is no elevator in the building, as we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. Additionally, the shower head was broken and leaking water. The kitchen was incomplete, lacking large pots, as well as basic cooking essentials such as oil, salt, and pepper.

A very comfortable stay while we were setting up our house, and they were flexible when we needed another night at the last minute!

• Carl (9/5): Family visit to Leicester - The location was amazing, a couple of minutes walk from the heart of town. Plenty of pubs/bars and restaurants nearby. The apartment was very stylish. Warm and very clean with all the modcons. We went out shopping on the 2nd afternoon and when we came back our code for the front door stopped working, we tried it 6 times. We had to wait around 20 minutes before another guest let us in. I did text the number that was given to me when we got in and they sent us a new code within 15 minutes. The main front room door/dining room handle had been broken from the inside, it seems that previous guests had wedged some ear plugs under the door to keep it open, we had to lean a chair against it so it would stay open. On the 3rd day the hot water stopped working but after a 30 minute wait it was hot again.
• Mae (10/5): My favourite accommodation in Leicester so far. - The flat itself is gorgeous and the location is very ideal as it is near the city centre. They furnished it with everything one could need for a few days stay, cookware, cutlery and very generous with coffee tea, etc. also love the quality beddings and the number of pillows. There are only 2 things i could think of really. First is the door handle in the living room only being held by just one screw so it made opening the door from inside sometimes difficult. We had to use a stopper to just leave it open. Second is, there wasn’t any chopping board in the kitchen we could use. But that’s it, only minor stuff that wouldn’t really affect our decision to book another stay.

• Charlot (8/5): Beautiful spacious apartment, almost luxury. - Really easy access to the property via a key code, and it was easy to message the hosts for any advice too. The bedroom with freestanding bath was beautiful, and the beds were very comfy. We asked for some cleaning products during the stay as there was nothing to wash up with and these were delivered within a few hours. Overall the apartment was spacious and was a great place for us to have a romantic weekend - but you could also host people here well without feeling on top of each other! We'll look to stay again in the future. Unfortunately the apartment did lack some basic things like nice glassware, bottle openers or cork screw, cooking utensils in general. The bedroom with freestanding bath was lovely to look at, but the fan in there which turns on automatically with the lights was horrendously loud, and you should be aware that there is a lot of noise from other apartments so the sound proofing is definitely not good. It would be brilliant if there was a curtain to draw across the big windows to stop light in the morning. With a few tweaks the apartment could really hit the luxury feel.
