Guest Reviews
- Joanne (9/5): A really enjoyable 4 night stay in a fantastic location and super accommodation.. - Excellent, quiet location which was a short walk into Haworth. Beautiful, clean cottage which had every you needed. The host left lots of instructions and information for things to do, shops, places to eat. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Nothing we didn't like. Maybe a small freezer would have been handy but we didn't really need it.
- Melisa (10/5): Great weekend away - Lovely location plus parking space
Newly refurbished cottage
Ideal for a break and short walk into Haworth .
Great communication from host Close to the road but nothing to worry about
- Kent (10/5): Excellent cottage - Excellent location near to the train station, Hearty walk up into town to see the Bronte museum and for many dining options. Was a clean andvtody cottage to rest after walking to see the sights.
- Gary (10/5): Lovely cottage in an ideal location. - The cottage was lovely, had everything we needed and very clean. There was no bedside table, lamp or mirror in the other room that my daughter was sleeping in. Our room was lovely with the dressing table and lamps at each side of the bed.
- David (10/5): -
- Laura (10/5): Lovely Stay - Great location and easy to find/park.
Clean.
Helpful host.
We found it a good amount of space for four adults over three days. As others have mentioned, the sofas and kitchen seats were a bit uncomfortable but nothing unmanageable.
- Michelle (10/5): Superb cottage - Very quaint cottage, very soft, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and spotlessly clean.
Location is about 10 minutes (mostly uphill) from the lovely main street, Bronte patronage, bars, coffee shops, and restaurants.
There is a public park, and the station for the steam train is about 10 minutes away.
- Lisa (9/5): A lovely stay in Haworth - Well situated, well equipped and very clean and tidy. Not a deal breaker but the sofas could have been more comfy.
- duncan (7/5): Very comfortable, excellent shower, very convenient location and parking. -
- Caroline (10/5): Superb, beautiful home in a brilliant location! - Everything! The house was one of the best we have stayed in and such good value for money. It is a beautiful, well maintained home with everything we needed. Great location and excellent, friendly communication. We will return! Nothing!
- Karen (10/5): -
- Chloe (10/5): Great trip to Haworth, will definitely return and would use the same accommodation. - The cottage was very clean, a close walk to Haworth Main Street and perfect size for myself, husband and 2 kids. Sofa’s could be a little comfier but this didn’t affect our stay at all.
- Amy (10/5): We had a brilliant Christmas at Ebor Mill’s Cottage. Perfect for a family of 4! - Excellent location and a very comfortable, well equipped cottage. There is nothing not to like!
- Maria (10/5): Great location for us for a short walk into the village. House was equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely - Lovely, comfortable house with everything we could need for our short break.
- Stephanie (9/5): Very comfortable stay, we were only there a couple of days but everything there was more than adequate for us. Good loca - Exceptionally clean and well presented cottage. Everything we needed was available to use.
- Ollie (10/5): Fantastic - Very clean and simple, perfect little place to stay. Nothing, everything was perfect

- Clare (10/5): A gem 💎 - Location, host contactable and responds v quickly, lovely cottage, light and bright, super clean and comfy! Would highly recommend 👌 Perhaps a bit more detail in welcome pack re. parking space location.
- garry (10/5): Superb - Our stay at this delightful cottage was one of our best yet, the property was immaculate inside and out, the location was perfect for all Haworth has to offer, my wife and I couldn't fault this property and would definitely highly recommend it to other guests looking to stay in beautiful Haworth We loved everything, nothing to not like
- Milne (9/5): - Lovely little cottage 10 mins to main street parking spot was a god send on a bank holiday weekend will return if in the area Living room seating wasn't comfy but OK for a couple of days everything else was spot on
- Susan (7/5): -
- Siobhan (10/5): A cosy 'home from home' in Brontë Country - This was a cosy and comfortable home from home in a lovely area of Haworth, a great base from which to explore the village and the surrounding area. The sound of the river lulled us to sleep at night and the steam trains greeted us in the morning...very atmospheric! The owners were easy to reach and very pleasant to interact with.
- Gregory (10/5): -
- Mark (10/5): - Great location, lovely clean and well appointed property with a dedicated parking spot.
I would recommend it as a place to stay.
Thank you
- Katerina Judith (9/5): - It was nice and clean. Much cleaner than other types of accommodation in Yorkshire we have visited. The bunk bed is probably not suitable for adults, it looked very unstable and dangerous to sleep on.
There was no tea or coffee there.
Right after booking we were notified that it is necessary to pay deposit of 150 pounds. I understand this is probably easy for British bank account holders but it is very difficult and expensive for foreigners. Surely not just British people stay here, I have never experienced anything like this while traveling around the world and booking via booking.com.
- Paul (9/5): Nice relaxing stay - Very clean and fabulous location Nothing
- Ollie (10/5): Just didn’t want to leave at all. Great little family friendly home. - It was very clean and simple. Great set up to bring kids too. Very accommodating for a last minute booking and when speaking to the owners they were extremely helpful in getting to Haworth. The beds were very comfortable as well. Nothing. Everything was perfect
- Clare (8/5): A lovely little house that was perfect for our stay in a great location. Communication was timely from the host. Easy fr - Well maintained and very clean.
Lovely shower/bathroom. Kitchen ideal. Perfect holiday stay close to local bars, restaurants and Howarth (if you don’t mind the hill). The sofas are not very comfortable for lounging after a long day walking.
- Suzy (10/5): Beautiful cottage - The cottage was lovely and clean and bright in a lovely location. Everything you need, like home from home, would definitely stay again. Tanya was lovely very helpful
- Stephanie (9/5): Superb - The cottage is very clean and tidy and the location is excellent. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go and enjoyed our stay very much. We could easily visit the shops and the steam train station and local walks. Tanya was very helpful. The instructions were very clear and we found the keys and parking space easily. A couple of minor points could be improved, such as adding some coat pegs downstairs (it rained quite heavily so we needed our raincoats!), and the mirror in the bathroom was too high up (at 5'3'' I could only see my forehead!). There was a mirror and table in the main bedroom so this wasn't a big issue. We still had a lovely time.
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Very cosy and comfortable. The only comment I would have is that some coat hungry by the door could be handy
- Dwayne (10/5): Perfect stay in a beautiful part of the country - The property is exceptional , absolutely immaculate and spotlessly clean top to bottom, Quiet and only 10 mins scenic stroll to the main high street,
We will be staying here again in the future Thankyou Tanya There is nothing not to like about this beautiful cottage
- Karen (10/5): Amazing Gem - great location to Haworth, I came with my 85 year old father and it was walkable.
beautiful cottage , very clean, everything you need, super clean nice smelling bedding. parking space bonus there was nothing we didn't like.
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and friendly host Everything was spot on
- Apostolos (10/5): until next time - modern, clean and at walking distance from everything. Located in a quiet street with it's own parking spot
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Cottage is beautiful, so clean and tastefully furnished, little touches such as hand wash kitchen roll, t-towels, shower towels were much appreciated. Lovely and warm, a parking space is provided
Couldn't fault anything, owner easy to get hold of if any problems. Would highly recommend There is not anything to dislike
- John (10/5): Everything was as expected - Location and cleanliness
- Samantha (10/5): Perfect! - The cottage was pristine and in perfect condition, very comfortable with all amenities. Close to all Haworth attractions. Nothing!
- Lowri (9/5): Superb -
- Robinson (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (10/5): We will be back soon. - Fantastic house, spotlessly clean, great location. Why have a room when you can have a whole house !! The fact it’s not mine.
- Amanda (9/5): Excellent location / Clean and host was very good - Almost everything was perfect . Very clean and everything we needed for a short break ..Host was very good . Nothing not to like . comfier Sofas would be nice in the evening time ..but that’s a personal preference ..doesn’t reflect how nice this place was and I would return
- Ruth (9/5): Superb - Really clean and comfortable with well-equipped kitchen. Great location with facilities in walking distance and allocated parking.
- Daniel (10/5): Very easy to deal with owner, clear instructions on use of the property, great location and fair price. - The high quality furniture and amenities, great bathroom, bedrooms, lighting, and kitchen & appliances. That we don’t permanently live there!
- Sian (10/5): Charming delightful and cosy! - We had a fantastic time in Haworth and particularly because our accommodation was so lovely and cosy. The cottage was warm and super clean and had all facilities needed for a short family break. The cottage is a 5 minute walk to the train station and we enjoyed a delightful trip on the steam trains up and down the valley. It was also just 10 minutes to Main Street which was charming. It was also a lovely touch that there was a Christmas tree up in the lounge. We will no doubt visit again in the future. Thankyou for providing a welcoming holiday home. NA
- David (9/5): Well above expectations - expect us to return! - The cottage was very clean, obviously very recently refurbished, and far better value than a hotel. Plenty of space, and enough beds for a family.
- Steven (10/5): Modern clean property in great location - The property is in great location for visiting Haworth Main Street. It was spotlessly clean and modern. Bed was very comfy and we all enjoyed a great nights sleep. There was nothing to complain about the property.
- Steven (9/5): Superb -
- Mike (9/5): Good location, very clean and great communication. - Very clean, easy to find, free parking.
- Gemma (9/5): Great value for money and good location will return for sure - Nice and clean with everything needed. Perfect distance to the steam railway which was the reason for the stay to take our children in Elf Explorer Christmas specials. Beds lovely and comfy. My only gripe would be for there maybe to have either a blackout blind or blackout curtains fitted in the front bedroom. The reason for this is the cars coming down the hill and over the bridge shine right into the bedroom
- Dean (10/5): Really nice home from home! - It was extremely clean, tidy and was a perfect place to stay, only about 10 mins easy walk into the centre.
- Kay (10/5): a really lovely break - beautifully finished and cosy , hearing was great and bed are very comfortable. sofa wasn't very comfortable
- Rachel (10/5): Amazing - It was very central, clean and beautifully decorated. Lovely area, with river and could see the steam train passing. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Host was lovely and quick to respond. Bed was comfortable. Would stay again. There is an £150 safety deposit. It was mentioned on booking.com but not clearly unless you really looked and mentioned in the reviews but very low down and I missed it. It was quickly refunded but because I hadn’t read it properly it was shock and didn’t account for it and it impacted my spend for the weekend. So be aware you need to have this.
- Andrew (9/5): Excellent stay in cosy, clean cottage on outskirts of Haworth. - Very clean cottage with all facilities. N/A
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional - All spot on Couldn't book for next year as its already booked up not surprised get it while you can good place
- Laura (10/5): Immaculately clean and comfortable. Very relaxing stay. - Immaculately clean and warm. Fantastic communication with the host. Quiet and easy walking distance into the town. Maybe more mirrors to get dressed.
- Helen (10/5): A very enjoyable stay - Very clean and comfortable. Lovely convenient location - short walk into Haworth and restaurants etc. Great walks from cottage
- Rachel (9/5): We had a great time. There's plenty to do eg walking, museum, pubs and restaurants. - The house was very pleasant and very clean and comfy. The location is perfect. It was peaceful and the bedrooms had pretty views. The only thing I would say is that it would be nice if there was a cafetiere.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynne (9/5): We had a wonderful time - Clean, minimalist, perfectly positioned for a gentle walk through Haworth. There is nothing to dislike
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jane (8/5): The cottage was clean and nicely furnished - Clean and not far from Haworth No bathroom supplies ie soap shampoo
- Jae (10/5): Two nights in the cottage. - Superb location, spotlessly clean, incredible comms from the owner. There was no corkscrew, that's the only downside!
- Gary (10/5): Lovely little Retreat - Stayed in this lovely little cottage for 2 nights with my son. Great location for everything so if your thinking of renting a 2 bed cottage in Haworth I would strongly recommend this little gem
- Caruso (10/5): We had a lovely time! - Quite area and near village. Beautifully furnished and very clean. Nothing
- Laura (9/5): A comfortable stay which was excellent value for money. - Very clean, modern and comfortable. Had all the essential furniture and fittings. 1 double room and 1 bunk bed room which consisted of a double bed below and a single bed above. Quiet area on the outskirts of the town but within walking distance or easy drive to the centre (see below). Original stone terraced cottage close to converted mill. Own parking space. Did not meet the hosts but text message exchanges were very pleasant. Deposit refunded promptly. We would absolutely recommend this property despite the minor issues mentioned below. Here is some honest feedback, although it did not significantly affect our stay and we would stay here again if visiting the area.
1) I would have liked a mirror in the bunk bed room. Ideally a full length mirror. The bathroom mirror is quite small and was a little too high for me. (I am 5ft3)
2) I would have liked the option of a blanket as well as the duvet, I was a little cold at night. (personal preference)
3) I would have liked a bedside lamp in the bunk bed room although I realise that space is very limited.
4) If choosing this property, you should be aware that it is a steep, uphill walk (approx. 20 minutes) to the main street. Not suitable if you have any mobility issues. However, we found it very easy and not too expensive to park in the Museum Car Park. I think taxis are also available.
- Emma (10/5): A relaxed break in a cosy cottage - The cottage was very welcoming and immaculately clean. The beds were very comfy and it has a great shower.
The private parking space around the corner was very handy. Communication with Tanya was excellent.
The cottage is in a quiet location and a 15 minute walk into town. I would highly recommend.

- Millietess (9/5): Cosy stay ! - Cosy cottage for two. Beautifully refurbished. Comfy bed. Some traffic noise which we noticed because we live in the countryside. Others probably wouldn’t hear it.
- Danny (9/5): Almost perfect - It was lovely, clean and comfortable. Almost everything we needed was there. Could do with a small welcome pack. Tea, coffee milk, etc. Wasn't keen on having to pay £150 deposit the day before we stayed, although I did get it back quickly.
- John (8/5): Lovely weekend in a very cosy cottage with friends. Thank you - Great location - easy to find and to park. Had everything we needed. Bottom of a big hill ! But to b expected tbh. It is Howarth after all.
- Rose (10/5): We loved hearing the rushing mill stream and seeing the horses and chickens next door. - The spacious, clean cottage was just delightful - fresh decor and filled with light. The bathroom is large and the bed comfortable. Kitchen is also roomy and well appointed. A designated car park was greatly appreciated.
- Suzanne (10/5): Absolutely fantastic! 100% recommend 5 stars plus ! - Super clean, beautifully decorated and everything in pristine condition. A real gem of a place with private parking to boot.
Nice, quiet location with rural views but close to all amenities and places of interest No
- William (9/5): Lovely accommodation - Accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. Had Smart TV for at night when you were back in the accommodation. Ideal location for visiting North Yorkshire and surrounding area. Thought it could do with patio table and chairs in back garden. we were lucky and had beautiful sunny weather and no were to sit outside in the morning for a cuppa. Also could do with chopping board and full length mirror and more information on local attractions in the form of leaflets would be handy for future guests.
- Geoff (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dawn (9/5): Haworth stay - The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. It's also well placed for Haworth, we walked in easily in 20 minutes. Parking very handy If you are not mobile, it's a little way out
- Rebecca (9/5): Lovely. Would recommend. - Immaculate house and very helpful owner. Went as 4 with adult children and plenty of room. Parking a real asset. Kitchen really well equipped and lovely bathroom. Deposit refunded same day we vacated. Bought some ice cream and when we got back realised we didn’t have a freezer. Not a problem as we are it straight away!!
