• Helen (10/5): Lovely little cottage in good location on lovely well-maintained site. - Lovely clean, well presented cottage. Quite compact, but everything nicely arranged and good quality furniture and fittings. Tv in both rooms and comfy bed. Nice sitting area outside. Biscuits, milk and dog biscuits a nice touch. Shower room is very compact and showers pressure not great.

• Morris (9/5): Immaculate, high-quality retreat with wonderful dog-friendly touches - We had a wonderful time at The Old Cutter Shed! The attention to detail here is incredible; you can really tell the hosts take pride in providing a high-quality experience. The pre-arrival information was very useful. ​Our doggo felt just as welcome as we did thanks to the dog basket, with the dog bowls and towels, the treats were such a kind gesture. Even though we weren't staying on the caravan site, we took a quick stroll through and were blown away by how pristine everything was. We’ll definitely be back!" The only minor suggestions would be adding a drying rack or something for wet weather gear and towels. Also, at this price point, having to strip the beds and empty the bins felt like a bit of a chore on the way out.

• graham (9/5): Overall I’d definitely recommend the place. And Wouldn’t hesitate to return. - The property was everything we needed and more. Well equipped with quality items. If I am going to be picky we did have a little problem with the hot water when showering. It kept running cold for for some reason.
• Samantha (9/5): - Perfect size for a couple to getaway. Location is just outside of Whitby, so nice and quite but also town is only a quick drive or short walk away. We chose to walk along the coast during the days and drive at night when we went out for dinner. Although there is everything you need for a cosy night in as well. The host was friendly on arrival and leaving. During our stay we were left to our own devices but knew the host was only a phone call away if needed. The biscuits on arrival were also appreciated!

• Sandie (10/5): If you are looking for a quiet dog friendly spot within short walking distance of the beach, Whitby and Sandsend, then t - Easy walking distance to Whitby (15 mins across the top and 20mins along the beach). The cottage was impeccably clean and well equipped with toiletries provided, lovely fluffy towels, biscuits/tea/coffee and milk, plus doggy treats, dog towels and feeding bowls. A personalised little welcome card was also a lovely touch. We had a wonderful weekend and would definitely return. Highly recommended. Nothing.

• Nicola (10/5): Lovely seaside mini break in beautiful holiday let - It was a lovely place, beautifully decorated, very well equipped kitchen, small but perfectly formed. The hosts were very friendly and very accommodating. It is in a quiet location, on the main road between Sandsend and Whitby about a 30 minute stroll from the centre of whitby, either along the road or the seafront. There is a bus stop close by and the buses were frequent and reliable. A lovely stay in very high quality accommodation.

Plus Roberts radio if TV not your thing. Owners very friendly and helpful. Parking right outside the door. You can get almost straight down to the beach partway between Sandsend and Whitby. Perfect bolthole We liked everything. A small shelf in the bathroom would have been handy
