Guest Reviews
- Sven (9/5): -
- edoardo (10/5): 3 giorni immerso nel cuore di Roma perfetti - Posizione perfetta in centro a Trastevere, facile da raggiungere e centrale per ogni direzione, servizi, assistenza e pulizia impeccabili
- Darcie (10/5): Authentic Roman Holiday in coolest part of town - An authentic Roman apartment set back from the cobblestone streets of Trastevere. It was such a perfect place to rest after walking all day. The bed was the most comfortable we had during our whole trip of Italy. But Maria and Simona are the ones who made our stay one of our favorites. They were so kind and helpful, sharing local spots for food and shopping. Rome would not have been as incredible as it was without their assistance. Highly recommended. Everything was perfect.
- Gillian (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, good facilities
- Kateryna (10/5): Exceptional - Location! Balcony is nonexistent
- Tetyana (10/5): Authentic cozy place - A cozy, stylish apartment right in the heart of Trastevere! It’s an old but modernized space with all the necessary amenities, including a washing machine (though no drying area). The bed was incredibly comfortable — slept better than ever. Perfect location for exploring Rome. Highly recommend! Checkout is before 11am and there is no room or opportunity to leave luggage in case of a late departure from Rome
- Sofia (8/5): Good location, good value, easy to get around the area. - The location was good, even though we had to put up with a little noice. The location was very busy, but convenient. To get to the apartment you have to go up few steps that are not in it’s best condition and the bed was very low to the ground, which makes it hard for people with back/knees issues.
- Madeline (9/5): Old world studio apartment in heart of Trastevere - Great location in Trastevere and old world palazzo details, from courtyard to decor and wood beam ceilings. Bed and bath comfortable and a good size. Host was above and beyond! The motion sensor light above the entry inside the apt was a nuisance when one person gets up in the night, since it turns on a bright light filling the room. Small winding staircase up to apt door is fine for us, but not good for elderly or people with lots of luggage.
- Thomas (10/5): Cozy, comfortable and quiet room with a balcony in the heart of trastevere. - Great location in the heart of Trastevere, arguably the best area in the city centre with loads of top rated restaurants and night life. A stones throw away from the colosseum, Trevi fountain and other tourist attractionas. The room is extremely quiet as it is tucked away inside a communal “neighborhood” of about 5-10 apartments and a private courtyard. Nothing.
- Anna (9/5): Perfect stay in Rome! - The apartment is in a fabulous location, right in the heart of Trastevere (but still quiet at night, far enough from the noisy bars). The bed is extremely comfortable, and the check in (and out) process was very easy and smooth! The water pressure in the shower is very weak, especially if you’re showering at the same time as someone else in the building - however this was expected, as you’re staying in an authentic old place. It’s part of the charm!
- Joanna (10/5): Loved the apartment and would stay there again in a heart beat! - The property was divine - perfect location - close to major attractions and great places to eat. The apartment was in a delightful old building in busy neighbourhood but exceptionally quiet in the apartment. The air-conditioning worked really well and was a godsend during the exceptionally hot weather we experience during our stay. Communication with the host was great. No complaints - it was fabulous!
- Kobus (9/5): Superb - Great communication & support from the host and the greeter who met us, answering any questions we still had. Apartment’s location is perfect to explore the area. The small apartment is well equipped. Highly recommendable. Nothing
- Stephanie (10/5): Amazing spot in great location - Location, staff, comfortable. Totally recommend! Shower pressure wasn’t great, but would still recommend!!
- Liz (9/5): Would come again - Location was great Some seating in the courtyard would be amazing
- Lorelle (9/5): Overall loved our stay. - Loved the room. Elisabetta who met us was fantastic. Great hot water. Comfy bed. Lovely atmosphere. Perfect location in heart of Trastevere but still quiet snd private The stairs to go up. Narrow. Steep and one is very dodgy and needs repair. The light in the stair well does not stay on long enough
- Michael (6/5): Enjoyed Rome.Felt the facility was a bit oversold. - Bathroom clean Too well photographed. A lot smaller than photos suggested Balcony overlooked waste pipes. Limited toiletries. Felt it was expensive for what we got.
- Chedly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eva (5/5): Nice location, but nothing more - Apartment is very nice located: a bit outside of super touristic center but still in the heart of happenings. Lots of bars and restaurants are around. The apartment itself is atmospheric and cozy. We were, softly speaking shocked and disappointed, especially after reading almost no negative reviews for this property, how poorly sound isolation of an apartment is. Noise is coming from everywhere, and it’s not the matter of the location ( windows of the apartment are facing inner courtyard) but old windows, doors and floor packages. We felt like we were sleeping on the street and couldn’t have proper rest and sleep after fruitful and intensive sightseeing during the daytime. It was very frustrating hearing during the night and early mornings all the neighbors’ noise from near and above us, as well as never ending slamming of an iron gate just below the bedroom window. For the amount of money we pay for this stay, this is an elementary and basic feature that must be ensured for guest. And no good location will make it up.
- Samantha (7/5): Great location but stairs are a little unsafe. - Great location, AC worked very well, comfortable bed, and no issues with the hot water running out. The stairs and hand rail were damaged so it might be difficult for the elderly or someone who has difficulty with stairs. There is no elevator so just take that into consideration if you have difficulty with steep steps! Also this wasn’t a huge deal, but we only had 2 rolls of toilet paper and ran out during our stay, so it would be nice if they kept it more stocked. :)
- Croucher (9/5): Glad we decided to stay here. - Very cute, clean apartment in Trastevere. Trastevere comes alive at night, and everyone, from families to grandparents to the young people come out, so it is a fun place to stay. The bed has a firm mattress, but it wasn't a deal breaker for us.
- Karatsikou (10/5): Exceptional - Sparking clean, in the center of Trastevere, having everything you need. Old italian house very well renovated and furnished. Comfortable bed, easy check in. Very kind host! Nothing
- Rando (10/5): Cozy place, excellent location in this great city! - We really enjoyed our stay in Al cortile del Moro! The place was cozy and had everything you need - kitchen with most utensils, table to eat breakfast, big bed with even bigger pillows and of course air conditioning. I would like to bring out the great location of this place - it is located in the heart of Trastevere, where you can find a great variety of restaurants, bars, ice cream shops and most but not least, delicious pizza places! Also the atmosphere in Trastvere is very cool, always buzzing... In addition you can walk from Trastevere to do some sightseeing, for example Vatican City and Colosseum are max 30min walking distance. There was comments about the gate making noise, so in the beginning I was a little worried about this but eventually it didn't bother us. You noticed it at first but after few times not anymore. And during night time we didn't hear anyone using the gate anyways. Some complimentary coffee would have been nice for the first morning :)
- Anton (9/5): Superb - Clear and straightforward instructions and communication. Great strategic location. Everything (shop, restaurants, pharmacy etc.) is in close, walking distance reach. The apartment is very authentic with amazing old school interior and great inner yard. As apartment is located in the center of Trastevere it gets quite noisy and loud in the evenings. Especially during friday-sunday. So keep it in mind, especially if you are sensitive to noise during sleep. Makes sense to take a pair of earplugs.
- Loredana (10/5): Best located - Located in the most beautiful and picturesque neighborhood in Rome, more exactly in Trastevere, Al cortile del Moro was perfect for us. At most 20min of walking you have every turistic point close to you. In this time you can admire the beauty of this city. In front of the house you have a very known patisserie with Italian sweets. It was a delight! Tastevere is the best place to drink and eat Italian, you have many restaurants, pubs, bars close to you. Even if we were 2 persons, it s enough space for a family with a little kid. You have everything you need for a nice stay: from washing machine, hair dryer, you can iron your clothes, you can make coffee or even cook something. If you go during the cold weather you can use the conditional air, it works very quickly. Everything was clean and new. The new furniture combined with the old characteristics of the building creates a cozy and enjoyable atmosphere. The personal was very nice and gave us all the information we need. If we will have the chance to come back to Rome, definitely we will chose this place again!
- Jeane (10/5): Incredible stay in Rome - The apartment is really cosy with a strategic location in the centre of Rome. It is equipped with everything you need. The bed is very comfortable, with a TV and a large wardrobe. The bathroom impeccable with a spacious shower. The kitchen, used once, well functioning. What is really charming are the wooden beams on the ceiling. Excellent communication with the guys, thank you for the advices. The neighbourhood of Trastevere is amazing, with a few steps away from all shops and restaurants. Also from the best and wonderful places in Rome. Thank you!!!
