Guest Reviews
- Terence (8/5): Delightful place to stay - Lovely, quiet, private accomodation with our own little yard and pincic table. Also a quaint "public bar" right nextdoor.. very friendly and acomodating hosts. The bed had one side agaunst the wall, which is inconvenient. Shower a little cramped but ok. Most inconvenient was having no shop of any discription nearby. We needed to druve to Attleborough. Im sure it advertised shops within .4km
- Melanie Jane (10/5): I enjoyed 3 nights here and made the most of the BBQ facilities and the darts board in the separate bar. - Great location, very peaceful. Beautiful surrounding countryside. It’s only a 20 minute walk from Snetterton circuit. Very cosy and clean. The separate bar is amazing! Spent an evening in there playing darts! The owners Liz and Tony are very welcoming and friendly and very helpful telling us about the surrounding area. No faults with the property at all
- Kelvin (10/5): -
- Kevin (10/5): We were visiting Snetterton for a track day. It was a considerable drive from where we live so we needed to stay nearby - Very easy to find. Host was warm and friendly. Everything was working, clean and perfectly presented. Would definitely stay again. There are no negative things to say.
- Tominsin (10/5): Highly recommend!! - The host was friendly. We had the whole space to ourselves and even had a private bar. We woke up to the beautiful singing of birds every morning. We were surrounded by nature and it was just beautiful to shut the chaos of the world out for a few days. We'll definitely be going back. Nothing.
- tracy (10/5): - Had a lovely stay it was very clean and had everything you could want and more the bed was really comfortable , liz was lovely and had put the heating on for us so was lovely and cosy for when we arrived , we will definitely be going back as we really enjoyed it can not recommend this place enough 💯😘
- David (10/5): Very comfortable with loverly host - As described and very well appointed. Also a big bonus was access to the bar in the large private garden Nothing it was excellent
- Matt (10/5): Highly recommend this quiet little gem of a property. Liz was perfect with her excellent communication throughout the bo - Such a delightful little place, quiet, compact and just right for a relaxing weekend stay. The mini pub is a lovely highlight of the place, a lot of love has gone in to it. N/A
- Joanne (10/5): Wonderful relaxing break away - It was cosy, well equipped & private. Nothing.
- karen (8/5): Karen and marty - Very cosy and warm a little smaller than I had imagined but overall good value for money and the plough pub next to the pod was excellent idea Na
- Craig (10/5): Excellent!! Defo be booking again - Just beautiful and cozy and had everything you need. N/a
- Hitendra (10/5): Fantastic cosy place to retreat to after an intense day of work. - I received good instructions and Tony was there to welcome me. He showed me to the pod - it was getting very cold at the time and the pod was already heated in anticipation of my arrival. The pod was very private and comfortable. The sheets and towels were clean and smelled fresh. They even had a cute little bottle of fresh milk in the fridge. Everything was great. Would love to stay there again. As the location is quite remote and there aren't any shops in the village, it would add another touch of class if they could provide maybe a small portion of oats or cereal and a couple of slices of bread? This is by no means a criticism; it's a suggestion in case they were looking for someone to nitpick and elevate what is already an incredibly fantastic offering.
- Christine (10/5): Perfect. - Clean tidy and compact with all facilities needed. Nothing
- Nigel (10/5): - Everything Nothing
- Mick (10/5): - Cosy perfect little hideaway
- Jesse (10/5): Lovely place with lovely hosts! - What a lovely place! The pod was beautiful and cozy, and Liz and Tony were so helpful and accommodating. A very comfortable stay.
- Anderson (10/5): - Absolutely loved it. Very clean, perfectly set up for a comfortable stay. Many unexpected extras ie; tea, coffee and cooking essentials. Also milk in the fridge.
Loved the privacy and especially loved ”The Plough" your own private pub with honesty bar.
Great communication with the host and was made to feel very welcome. Nothing we didn't like.
- Lauren (10/5): Relaxing and cosy - Fully quipped with everything you need, had lots of little nice touches. Felt very cosy. We loved the little bar, was absolutely amazing!
- Simon (8/5): Cosy and perfect location - Cosy warm and quiet perfect for a short break away, Shower is a challenge if your tall but there ways to manage this. The pod is equipted will all items required for your stay. It worked perfectly for us without any alterations
- Susan (10/5): - Lovely lay out , very comfortable bed, privacy, and very peaceful Nothing
- john (9/5): Glamping pod in Eccles - A superb well appointed pod with everything you cauld need inside.
The bar in another building close to the pod was exceptional and well stocked with an honesty box giving you a choice of where you sat in the evening.. Nothing really.
- Tia (10/5): - Property was equipped with everything I could have needed and was beautifully clean and well presented. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly (special mention to Tony who helped me fix a slight issue with my car). Would love to stay again next time I have a training course. Thank you Was perfect for a 4 night stay
- Nick (10/5): Private, relaxing, clean, comfortable but most of all a very clever use of space. - The pod has everything you may need for a great, relaxing stay - fridge, microwave, toaster, cafetiere with Taylor's coffee, cutlery, bottle opener, hairdrier, iron and board - the list goes on. Bed comfy, sofa to watch Netflix, plenty of garden to sit out in. Complete privacy. Makes you wonder if pod living is the future. The hosts have created something that is more than the sum of its parts. Having stayed 2 nights I can't think of anything I didn't like.
- Marie (10/5): - Everything.what can I say it is an amazing stay. Fantastic facilities and a little peace of heaven. Nothing
- Sharon (10/5): Gem of a find. - What an absolute gem of a find. The pod had everything we needed. Lovely touches with tea, coffee and.milk. Bed was super comfy firm enough so no roll together. The pods use of space makes it feel quite spacious. Felt nice and secluded. Host was very friendly made us feel welcome. 'The Plough' was amazing and we spent our evenings playing games and darts. Can not recommend the Chestnuts pod and garden enough. Thank you. Leaving.
- Nigel (9/5): -
- Kelvin (9/5): Perfect -
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb - Secluded. Cosy. Comfortable. Homely. Shower was just ok for me but anyone taller than my 5ft 7 will struggle
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- Adrian (10/5): Lovely relaxing base for our visit to Snetterton circuit. - Everything 😊
Lots of thought has been put into designing and equipping the pod with everything required for a relaxing stay.
Garden/patio area and The Plough an added bonus. Nothing to not like.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
1st time staying in a pod and this exceeded our expectations by far.
Was absolutely amazing,
Liz and Tony have thought of everything and i mean everything 😃 x even the sunshine was there to welcome us
Would return in a heartbeat. Thank you both Nothing
- Paul (9/5): A very comfortable pod to explore Norfolk & the surrounding area - The pod was very well appointed, with everything required for a relaxing & enjoyable stay. There was nothing to fault, the hosts had thought everything & were equally lovely.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Simona (4/5): Disappointing -
- Raymond (9/5): Superb -

Chestnuts Pod had everything you could need and with the added bonus of The Plough Bar thought it was a brilliant idea, the host Liz 😀 was really nice and showed us the Pod and Bar on arrival hope to visit again in the near future Thank-you again Liz 🙂 Nothing 😀.
- Dowler (10/5): Massively exceeded expectations - Everything… Could honestly not of asked for better accommodation. If it’s the right location for you then it’s perfect… Plus the extra surprise opposite the pod is worth it alone! That we had to go home….
- Dawn (10/5): Perfect POD for a short break - Everything was amazing. Though small it was well equipped and comfortable
- David (10/5): Just what I needed for weekend trip to Snetterton. - Lovely and peaceful.
- Kevin (8/5): Very good -
- Donald (10/5): Lovely little place - Wonderful little place. Stayed for work. You can cook your own food and it's very homely.
- Kelvin (10/5): Absolutely delightful -
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gareth (10/5): Perfect - Snug and warm and cosy Na
- Paul (10/5): very unique pod. everything you need. would stay again. -
- Danica (10/5): Amazing little getaway!! - All of it!! Nothing!
- Vickitoria (10/5): Relaxing. Secluded - It is unique. The vendor has thought about every eventuality.
- Darren (10/5): Lovely pod accomodation near Snetterton Circuit - It was warm, spotlessly clean and had nice touches such as tea, coffee, chocolate and milk already provided. Comfortable sofa and Netflix on the tv. Remarkably spacious considering it's compact nature and nice shower/toilet area. There was no noise at night and there is a fantastic bar area in an adjacent hut. Not a dislike but anyone tall must remember to duck into the bathroom and will find the shower compact but I'm 6'2" and managed ok (after bumping my head 😅)
- Jessica (10/5): Private, Everything you need and more! Cosy and beautiful. Amazing hosts, go out their way for you! - Literally everything, it was so beautiful, down to every detail. I loved how private it was as well. The hosts were very formative and friendly. I can guarantee my partner and I will insist on returning again when staying in the area. It was cheaper than other air B&Bs in the are and you get twice as much! Nothing!
- Justyna (8/5): Great stay - will definitely be returning - Comfy bed, lovely clean linen
Very well stocked kitchen considering the size of the pod
Small sofa with TV and dining area
Really large private garden with a fire pit bowl (we didn't get a chance to use it).
Overall very clean
Quiet location surrounded by fields - we saw some wildlife on a short drive late at night
Nice welcome from the hosts - very friendly and helpful Due to the shape of the pod the shower wall slants downwards - I was fine but it was a little tight for my husband (if you are very tall you might struggle to stand up in the shower)
- Maureen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Glinda (10/5): Little gem of a find - Really warm and snug had a great stay. Everything you needed to feel at home.
- Gemma (10/5): Cosy would definitely stay again - Was a very nice little place. Everything we needed and the host Liz was very nice and welcoming. The bar was an added surprise and my partner loved it. Had issue with the telly not connecting to certain apps properly and could do with a bit more lighting down the path leading to the gate. But these were minor things that we worked around.
- Caroline (8/5): Lovely space, good location, ideal for a short stay - Clean, well equipped, self contained - used as a base during a course and it was perfect for what I needed I had no issues but taller people might not like the bed and shower as they are compact (I’m 5ft 7)
- Lee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Overton (5/5): we left for family reason everything apart from the size of the pod was great - didnt have breakfast it wasnt for us because my husband was tall and the pod was to small but it is a lovely place for the right ppl and lizz the host was greatvery lovely young lady unfortantly we had to leave early family reasons
thankyou so much lizxx the pod wasnt big enough for us
- Annette (10/5): A perfect break! - Wow!! We had the perfect stay at Chestnuts. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Liz to say thankyou properly. The pod was imacculate, warm and cosy. It was quiet and secluded. We loved sitting in the garden in the afternoons, and in the evenings we enjoyed the firepit with provided logs while we cooked tea on the outside bbq. The milk, tea, coffee and hot chocolate was a lovely touch too.
The best bit was the bar! (We are very jealous!)Spacious and very traditional and we loved it! Spent our evenings in here relaxing playing scrabble, pub games, darts and watching TV.
Thankyou for our wonderful stay. Nothing!!!
- Marissa (10/5): Quiet, lovely home away from home - The host was lovely , place was spotless, had everything you needed , and added touch of the Bar , had a lovely relaxing time Nothing I didn't like ,

- Diane (10/5): Amazing relaxing place to stay. - Wow !!!! The Pod had everything and more you needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were exceptional too. Can’t wait to go back Nothing
- Lydia (8/5): A cute and cosy pod with lovely surroundings. - We came to the area for a wedding and found this lovely place, such good value for money for the 2 nights. We found the hosts very friendly and helpful, the bed was very comfortable and there were lots of lovely amenities. The little pub was a great addition, unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use it but another time for sure. We will definitely come back another time for a romantic getaway. The shower was a little awkwardly shaped and the kettle was a bit limescaley but everything else was fab!
- Charles (8/5): Very good -
- James (9/5): Lovely Pod it a lovely private garden - Lovely little pod with a fridge kettle toaster and a microwave. Massive bonus having a private bar in a shed opposite and a fire pit in the garden such a lovely place to stay will definitely stay again. The shower is quite small and does not drain very well but thats to be expected.

Its lovely and clean and surprisely spacious. Liz the host was kind enough to put the heating on for us before we arrived, knowing we had been at a wet race track all day. It even has access to the hosts bar with an honesty box. Its an amazing place and we loved it. There was not one thing we did not like.

- Dawn (10/5): Amazing, definitely recommend. - Absolutely amazing little get away, hosts were very friendly, pod was beautiful and very clean. Honesty bar was a perfect suprise although we didnt personally use any of the alcohol we did participate in several games of darts which were thoroughly enjoyed and the Pink Floyd dvd was awesome. Plenty of information provided on where to go, eat and find everything you need. Would definitely book again. The one thing we would recommend is that you travel a little further to shop at Tesco instead of the Sainsbury's as we found this to be very expensive and didnt have a lot of choice but that is nothing to do with the pod itself.
- Gordon (10/5): Exceptional -
