• Ingrid (10/5): Het was in alle opzichten echt geweldig!!! - Wat was dit een fantastisch groot verblijf, op een fantastische plek! Ideaal voor gezinnen met kinderen! Onze jongens hadden een eigen grote slaapkamer, met speelgoed en met eigen televisie (die overigens niet eens aan is geweest) en een eigen badkamer! Een fijne keuken met een heel gezellig lounge hoekje buiten, waar altijd wel iets te zien was want de loslopende dieren komen gewoon voor je verblijf voorbij gelopen! De kinderen hebben zich uiterst vermaakt bij de minigolf baan, het voetbal veldje, het (verwarmde) zwembad en de airtrampoline! Er is een winkeltje aanwezig waar je de hoognodige spulletjes kunt kopen en waar ze hun uiterste best doen om een gemakkelijk ontbijt / lunch voor je te maken! Er was een heerlijk restaurant nabij de receptie met volop keuze uit heerlijke gerechten, en erg vriendelijk personeel! Ons hoogtepunt: de fantastische game drives die je kunt boeken!! Ervaren rangers die hun kennis van alle diersoorten en de natuur enthousiast op je over willen brengen! Wij hebben hier GENOTEN van elk moment, en mochten we nog eens in de buurt komen boek ik zeker dit verblijf!! Het is even opletten dat je alle ramen en deuren goed gesloten houd ivm loslopende apen! Ze zijn brutaal genoeg om anders gewoon binnen te komen en voedsel te stelen wat binnen ligt!
• Caroline (10/5): Beautiful location, just over 2 1/2 hours from JHB, very well equipped and comfortable house - beautiful location and very well-equipped house, animals roaming wild around the house, didn't really have to go out anywhere. Space for teenage daughters to have their own time too at the cafe and entertainment area

• Sandra (10/5): - A beautiful and spacious accommodation with plenty of room and two bathrooms! Everything we needed—and more—was provided. Animals even came right up to our terrace, which was a truly special experience. The owner was very helpful and always available whenever we needed anything. The property itself is lovely, with a small shop and great safari tours on offer. We would love to come back!!

• Jolanda (9/5): Sehr abwechslungsreicher, sehr schöner Aufenthalt - Tolle Lage.. gute Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber . Die Anfahrt bis zum Schlüssel hatt alles geklappt. Genügend Platz für das Auto. für 4 Personen bestens geignet. Bequeme Betten. Es hatte alles was es im Küchenbereich braucht .Wunderschöner Garten. Toll um draussen zu sitzen.. Genialer Braai ...Der Besuch der Tiere einfach grandios. Ein neuer Wasserkocher& eine Schere die Schneidet. Die Türen zur Terasse nicht unbeaufsichtigt offen lassen.. Baboons könnten reinkommen , besonders um etwas Essen zu klauen. Es überall Stufen.

• Heidi (8/5): Empfehlenswert, toller Aufenthalt! - Sehr gut erreichbar von Johannesburg/Pretoria, schöne Tierbeobachtungen möglich im Wildpark, sehr hilfsbereites Personal an der Reception, schöner Entertainment Area. Die Tiere kommen direkt zum Haus zum Besuch, das fanden wir wirklich toll. Die hohen Decken sind von innen aus Rieddach und müssten von Spinnweben etc. gereinigt werden. Der Bomabereich (mit Grill) ist sehr schön, ist aber etwas entfernt vom Haus, also ein bisschen unpraktisch.
• Maira (10/5): - È la seconda volta che alloggio in questo lodge. Apprezzo molto che ogni camera ha il suo bagno e ci sono due entrate separate. Davanti al lodge passano facoceri, scoiattoli, nyala, kudu e altri animali.

And the animals literally at your door step. Aptly named Elephant Lodge because we had a herd of elephants pass by one of the days! N/A

• Kgomotso K (9/5): Overall stay was enjoyed by everyone, especially with bonus of finding board games in the house. - The quiet and serene atmosphere of the place made it a nice place to visit, especially if one did not want any usual city life noise. The game drive was spectacular and well enjoyed by the whole family. The beds were a bit too hard for us, and made our sleep a bit uncomfortable. The pool area is a bit small for the number of houses available at the reserve.

• Nico (10/5): Excellent location! Great unit! Neat as a pin! Excellent value for money! - The location, close to the Plaaswinkel and the activities, was super convenient. Having the animals roaming around in front of the unit was great! I would highly recommend this unit for anyone wanting to visit Mabalingwe. It is great value for money! The DSTV Stream service was not great! It's not a deal breaker since we weren't there to watch TV anyway. It was just that we wanted to watch the Springbok game, and struggled as it kept freezing. It's not meant as a negative reflection on the property. We have had the same bad experience with DSTV Stream at home and ended up reverting back to the decoder option.

• Joanne (10/5): A Gem. - This unit had all that was needed. The beds and bedding were exceptional. Well equipped and the location to restaurants and shops was great. Easy access to self drive game park. Just wish we could have stayed longer.
• Miguel (9/5): - Loved that the 2 bedrooms each had their own bathrooms and tv's. I loved that the owners did something special for my daughter's birthday. Very thoughtful. I also found the owners very accommodating. Would generally love a separate and communal lounge area but the design of these units do not allow that. The braai area a little walk and not the most convenient.

• Nontle (10/5): What a lovely stay. - It was an absolute pleasure staying there. It was so relaxing and restful being there. Everytime we'd find something (for e.g the ice bucket and the ice tongs) we'd say "OH MY GOODNESS they thought of everything!👌🏼". Such thoughtful things that, if we hadn't packed them, they would have made things even easier and convenient. We were all thoroughly impressed. All types of animals came out often and my son was intrigued by all of them. My husband said we HAVE TO come back for an entire weekend to experience the tranquility once again. Thank you to Pine and Runelle for being wonderful hosts. The bed was a bit hard.
