• Christine (9/5): Scarborough get away - dog friendly. - The apartment is a few minutes walk to the beach, and you can actually see the sea from the window. The beach is lovely, and we had some lovely walks. The apartment is comfortable and warm and felt safe. A free parking space is included - the alleyway is a little tight though, so do be careful. Key codes sent at 3pm by the host. We arrived a little early, but they responded quickly. The key code on the outer door took us a while to work and we did have to contact the host again. Once inside there is another box with a key - we also struggled with this one. When leaving, we could not get the key box to work at all and the host did not respond to calls or texts. We ended up wedging some card in the box to make sure the key wasn't in plain sight. It could do with a welcome pack which has the wifi, how to use the cooker, coffee machine etc, and also some of the local amenities. There were leaflets in the hallway though, but nothing in the apartment. Having said that, we had a lovely few days and would recommend!

• Kristian (7/5): Really nice place, plenty of space to relax but just a few tweaks to update it. - Good location for town and beach, spacious, large clean bathroom, good communication to access the property. Good facilities in the kitchen and very quiet considering its ground floor on the street. Good privacy from the street. Generally really nice, but a slight odour on walking in - possibly smoking from other apartments, some fixtures a bit tired, but the TV could definitely do with an upgrade. Only a small thing but when you’re wanting an evening in it matters. Screen has a line running down it, the remote only part works so scrolling menus etc is a frustrating tedious affair. WiFi doesn’t reach the bedroom at the back. Parking is really useful however I only just got my car down the narrow passage, and trying to get an angle to get out was even worse. We have a medium size SUV - Anyone with a large (wide)vehicle may not get down to the parking spot.
