• Michael (7/5): Great apartment - The location of the apartment is superb. In the centre of La Cala and a short 5 min walk to the beach is perfect. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was excellent and very quiet. The terrace is a great outdoor space. The apartment itself needs some updating. It's very rough around the edges. Things like the TV unit in the living room are falling apart, meaning drawers are hard to use. There is a lack of mirrors, with the only one being in the bathroom. The furniture on the balcony is cheap plastic and has seen better days. The parasol on the terrace is broken, and its base leaks water so made using the terrace unpractical in hot sun. The shower head leaks, meaning water spray going onto the bathroom floor. The TV has local Spanish channels only.
• Adrian (10/5): Lovely break in La Cala de Mijas - Central location 75m from the beach. Superb roof terrace with sea and Mountain View’s. Loads of bars and restaurants within 3 mins walk. .

• Mike From. Grimsby (9/5): Nearly perfect, just a couple of tweaks. Highly recommended! - The location is great above the Chinese Shop and next door to Fiddlers Green Irish bar on Calle Cartama in the centre of La Cala. The apartment was absolutely spotless and you have everything you need for self catering. The bed is incredibly comfy! The hosts were perfect. It really is a great place to stay. This is my second time here and I will return. Highly recommended. The oven and microwave, even though perfectly clean, need replacement as worn out (you can't see the numbers and symbols) and took a lot longer to cook than they should have. The towels became smelly easily. I think this is quite common in Spain as they don't dry quickly enough and aren't tumble dried. There were quite a few available so wasn't too much of a problem. New towels are probably needed and it'd be much better. 😊

• Saimi (10/5): Beautiful stay in and air conditioned apartment with kitchen and balcony - The location was in our opinion, the best one in La Cala de Mijas, close to everything (only 3 minute walk to the beach), but quiet and peaceful. The private roof terrace was absolutely amazing! The room also had air conditioning on both the bedroom and the living room, so the temperature could easily be adjusted even in July heat :) Sandra was a wonderful host and replied quickly! We were really happy with everything.
• sarah (8/5): Super comfortable ideally located apartment - The location was perfect. Air con was a blessing on the hottest day on record. Facilities were all that was required. Loved the toiletries in the bathroom! The matress topper fell over the side of the bed every night which was a bit uncomfortable. The sun bed had quite a significant rip in it making it unusable which was a shame as the rooftop was lovely- does need replacing.
• Knowles (10/5): - Every thing, the host is a lovely lady, the apartment was very clean with plenty of clean linen and towels Nice little balcony, giving shade and the solarium is amazing with views of the mountains and sea. Absolutely loved it.

• Anthony (10/5): I go to La Cala every year with friends. I will stay at Atico next year - I was on my own. Accommodation and Location perfect. Sandra contacted me by text as I was slightly late and met me at accommodation. A brief simple to understand handover of keys and explanation of a few things . Never had a problem thereafter. On last day Sandra knocked and gave me 1 hours notice to vacate room and also provided a place to leave bags. Gem of a place. Perfect

• Antony (8/5): Very good overall. nice bars locally and beach just five min walk - location great, sun roof was used daily. easy to find and rang contact who met us when we arrived. Contact spoke little English but i asked taxi driver to contact them and let then know our arrival time as we were traveling which worked very well. Tend to find Spanish beds in appts too firm and uncomfortable so a more comfortable bed would have been nice. Every thing else was spot on

• Tommy (10/5): Lovely apartment for two people , close to all amenities. - Location was excellent. Beach , shops , restaurants & pubs within walking distance . At the time of year that we were there the sun never shone on the balcony . But we had the lovely roof terrace
• Colette (8/5): Very good - Location The bed was not very comfortable. The mattress was too small for the frame, kept bumping my leg on the metal frame. Nothing at all left in the apartment, no water, no cleaning products. Stuff that other people usually leave for the next person.
