- Noluthando (7/5): - Location was nice and central. Pool area is nice as well There was only one bathroom for 3 rooms to share. Having a separated shower and toilet would be beneficial. Also having enough gate tags as we had to request being let in and out every time
- Khanyisile Emily (10/5): - Everything except there is no fridge on the room They don't have the fridge n the other guest they stole our drink because we were sharing the same fridge š¢š¢š¢
- Peter Stompie (3/5): Will go elsewhere next time - Accommodated at the site different from the confirmation. Helpers could not communicate is English but only in Zulu language. Give accommodation confirmed in the booking not 252 Allen Payton street

- Mbusoh (4/5): Dissatisfied - The fact that its peaceful.
The staff was very friendly, (Sane and Dumi) 1. Bed was not comfortable room 3.
2. Aircon not work in room 3.
3. Linen was not fresh, found strands of hair on the pillow too.
4. Cutlery and crockery needs updating, can't be eating on plastic plates.
5. Sewage smell seeped into the rooms
6. Was disappointed and dissatisfied with the breakfast, No choices/variety of food... no buffet experience for R150 p.p(as advertised on booking.com) it was a complete let down.
7. Open view tv is disappointing - there's no variety of things to watch and kids entertainment...very limiting.

- Gcwali (10/5): -
- Mr G (7/5): -
- Thabo (2/5): Horrible - It was closer to the venue where I was playing. I was asked to change car parking four time since one night, that disturbed my resting as I drove 7hrs to the destination.
On the 2nd day the receptionist knocked at my door at 11h00 night while I was sleeping š“ that disturbed my rest.
The door was so transparent you can see the person inside my room at night, that jeopardize my privacy.
Her knocking at my door in the early hrs in the morning ddnt sound good I tried to address it to her but it kept on happening.
- Beuschel (1/5): - There were no cutlery to make your own food and the kitchen cupboards were not hygienicly clean.
- Liza Ralph (10/5): -
- Bernadette (1/5): - The place is terrible. Beds are old and uncomfortable. Linen is cheap and terrible quality. Place was stale. Walls are dirty. Aircon didn't work. No remote for the garage we had to keep asking to have it opened. The toilet seat was cracked and had dirty marks all over it. There was nothing to like. It was extremely disappointing.

- Hendrick (10/5): Thanks to Fikile, I felt like at home - Everything in the room was good, the WiFi and they brought me my tea packs everyday. The only thing that was not working well was the jacuzzi tub. Jacuzzi tab not working well
- Les (6/5): Pleasant - Large comfortable room and ensuite. The owners need to put a large sign up outside or in the yard visible from Ridge road. Even with Google maps I drove past. Ridge road is very busy and one does not have the leisure of driving by slowly to check out street numbers.
- Les (6/5): Pleasant - No signage outside the property.. Drove past twice on the very busy Ridge rd. Poor parking facilities.
- Xolo (8/5): Very good and comfortable - Very clean, peaceful and there is no noise Nothing
- Lungisani (8/5): Very good -
- Masimbonge (8/5): Very good - The scenery and staff were amazing!!! Clear communication when booking that the price is exclusive of breakfast especially because it was listed as one of the services provided at no additional cost.

- Sonnika (9/5): Superb -
- Ashnee (8/5): Very good -
- Nikita (3/5): A breakfast disappointment - Positives:
- The staff were friendly and helpful, Fikile was great and always willing to assist.
- The property itself is lovely, with an attractive building and peaceful location.
- The rooms are visually appealing at first glance.
With better maintenance, clearer communication, and a serious rethink of the breakfast menu, this place could offer a much better experience. We recently stayed here and while the place has potential, our experience had quite a few letdowns. On arrival, no one seemed to know we were coming or which room we were booked intoāeven though I confirmed by phone earlier in the week. This points to a clear lack of communication or proper record-keeping.
The room looked nice, but there were a number of things that made the stay uncomfortable (specific to our room):
- The window was broken and we couldnāt close it.
- Toilet paper and soap holders werenāt bolted down, so they swung around when used.
- The cupboard had no hangers, so we couldnāt use it, and they were not in the best condition inside.
- Our rooms door handle was broken in half, this concerned me because if you didn't open the door very carefully, you could easily cut yourself.
- Aircon remote had no batteries.
- No bins in the room at all.
- No towel racks, so wet towels had to go on the floor or bed.
- One of the towels had a hole in it.
But the biggest issue by far was the breakfast. Itās advertised as a buffet, it is not. What we were served was unacceptable! For R130 extra per person, we received:
- One cold, overcooked egg
- One small piece of bacon
- One small piece of sausage
- Two slices of soggy toast
- Two slices of tomato
- A plastic tub of muesli and a kidsā yogurt
It was all cling-wrapped and looked nothing like a proper breakfast. This was incredibly disappointing and more like a packed breakfast than a paid meal. I donāt expect gourmet 5-star meals, but I do expect value for money. We ended up going somewhere else for breakfast, and I strongly recommend others do the same. This was honestly the worst part of our stay. (Picture below)
The pool also didnāt look clean, though we didnāt use it due to the colder weather.

- Robhinio (8/5): Very good - It was peaceful
- Thembelihle (10/5): I absolutely loveddd staying here. My family and I will definitely come back here on our next travel. The staff is all f - I loved that the property was clean and spacious. It really accommodated us as a family Would love for the pool to be clean throughout our stay but otherwise wasnāt too much of an issue.
- Atiq (9/5): Cheap in accordance with the city standards - It was cheap & cozy.. good value for money Basement room.. no fan.. no ac.. no air ventilation..
- Nomathemba (10/5): Exceptional -
- Siyonela (7/5): Good -
- Sakhile (9/5): Superb -
- Philani (5/5): The place must be well maintenance - It was good No air con at room 3 the bathroom does not lock
- Daichan (6/5): Pleasant - Friendly stuff During the day the gate lock was not working
- Rams (5/5): It was ok because it was last minute, but I would never go back there again willingly - The pool. It was refreshing as it was very hot The beds were uncomfortable they hurt my back.
There were other guests who made noise up until the wee hours of the morning without being reprimanded.
We were also not given a proper tour when we arrived and sort of had to figure things out on our own eve though there was a host.
The tvs werenāt updated so you canāt watch Netflix or anything
- Blondu (10/5): Exceptional -
