Guest Reviews
- Jed (10/5): - We loved the accommodations and the location. It was our second time staying here and it was amazing!
- Kevin (9/5): Superb -
- Thy (9/5): Superb - Very close to lifts
Clean and comfortable Noisy neighbors, there is a unit above and you can hear all the footsteps as they go up and down stairs. You can also hear neighbors through the walls.
Host was not particularly responsive. Every time we asked a question the response was “we will ask the “on-site host” - it took over 12 hours the first time, and we never got a response the second time.
- Lisa (1/5): There was a mouse - There was a mouse running around the chalet
- Ridge (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wilbury6 (8/5): We will certainly consider staying again - for the excellent location, and overall functionality - The location can't be beat: just a short walk over to the Milly Express Lift. In the afternoon, skiing alongside the parking lot gets you back to just about 200 feet of the building entry (provided there is enough snow).
This particular unit is located just a ramp up from parking, but otherwise level with the entry, which is most convenient when in ski boots, and also for carrying in all your luggage (the building has no elevator).
The apartment is quite spacious for two people, with a full kitchen; the 2-space induction cooking surface works surprisingly well. The kitchen had many small appliances and a good assortment of cooking supplies, albeit no wine glasses, and there was no salt, either.
The large shower, with outlets on both sides, is a definite plus. Ample plush towels were provided.
We liked the boot drying rack so much that we bought one for ourselves on the same the day after we left.
There was prompt snow removal around the parking for the building.
Internet was reliable, although sometimes slow in the early evenings. Since the radiant heating is slow, it would have helped if the thermostat had been set to a comfortable temperature before we arrived; it took more than 6 hours to get decent heating going for us.
The apartment would feel cozier with warmer lighting - installing dimmers for the really bright and "cold" LED lights would help a lot.
The outside ski locker closet wouldn't open with the code provided; upon contacting through the booking platform, the manager promised (twice) to inform the local maintenance person, and although we saw them around on some days, the locker problem was never solved while we were there.
Something was broken on the bathtub overflow; although this didn't affect usage of the bathtub as such, it looked neglected.
- Rory (10/5): Excellent place to escape people and the day to day caos. - Quiet and reserved. Needs some curtains, you are up with the sun when it comes up…lol
