• John (9/5): Excellent location; neat and tidy apartment - Excellent location - in the heart of historic Palermo's La Kalsa district - within walking distance of so many restaurants, pubs, bakery around the corner, and so many other things to see and do. It is in easy walking distance of the Quattro Canti, the Fontana Pretoria, and so many churches that it was hard to keep track of them all. A short walk away are the Cattedrale di Palermo, the Palazzo dei Normanni, the Port of Palermo, the Teatro Massimo, and the Museo Archeologico. Also close by are the Vucciria and Ballaro Street Markets. Nice apartment - I was in the "Luca" apartment - I believe there are more than one managed at this property. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the building was despite being over several restaurants on a busy piazza. The windows and shutters really kept the noise at bay. The entry hall is big and has a bicycle rack - an unexpected bonus that I used for my bicycle while I stayed there. The rooms were clean and tidy. Deborah reached out via WhatsApp on the day of my arrival and provided a clear video on how to access the apartment. Building access is via a code, and the key was easy to collect inside the building (as clearly documented in the provided video). The kitchen was ok - the small fridge was an afterthought, but still very usable. I couldn't find the cutlery at first, but that was because it was in a "secret" inner drawer - LOL. Deborah also kindly provided a list of recommended restaurants and sights to see - an unexpected but greatly appreciated little gesture that I used extensively. I only had two complaints: 1) The wifi service was a bit of a problem at first: I tried the network listed as the official network, and reception was terrible. I noticed the Wi-Fi router in the corner and figured out that if I used a different network, I might get better reception. Thankfully, that network was not password-protected, else I would have contacted the property manager. 2) The bathroom smelled slightly musty - there is no window, and I feel it needs better venting, even though there is a fan that runs when the light is on.
• habiba (7/5): Convenable - L’appartement est grand en duplex et globalement propre.Le logement est propre est agréable et bien agencé. Point à améliorer : Il manque quelques équipements de base : un torchon pour la vaisselle,des couverts supplémentaires, un grille pain ainsi qu’une table à repasser et un étendoir. Les deux petits canapés du salon sont également sales. Côté terrasse, les canapés sont peu confortables,l’assise étant assez dure et les coussins mériteraient d’être nettoyés ou remplacer. Attention également à l’emplacement de l’appartement : il y à beaucoup de bruit provenant des bars situés en bas même en semaine et malgré les fenêtres fermées. Le BRUIT des bars et restaurants en bas de l’immeuble même au troisième étage nous entendions le bruit avec les fenêtres fermées. Aucun contact à l’arrivée avec l’hôte le seul contact par message WhatSapp avec un digicode pour rentrer dans l’immeuble et une boîte à clef devant la porte de l’appartement.
• stefano (8/5): Una perla in una bellissima posizione, anche se in una zona un po’ rumorosa la sera. - Appartamento pulito e bellissimo. Bellissima la vista dal 3º piano nell’appartamento Elisa. Istruzioni per l’ingresso in casa molto chiare, host gentile che però ha risposto solo nel momento dell’ingresso in casa. La doccia del piano di sopra è decisamente bassa, bisogna fare attenzione anche quando ci si alza da wc per non rischiare di battere la testa. Un altro consiglio che mi sento di dare è di lasciare un asciuga piatti in cucina, potrebbe tornare utile.

• Jacek (8/5): Drobne kłopoty nie mogły przesłonić wspaniałego pobytu w Palermo - Duży, bardzo czysty apartament Duże braki w wyposażeniu lokalu: brak czajnika, brak ostrego noża do krojenia chleba, tylko 2 kapsułki kawy na cały pobyt (w innych miejscach na Sycylii dostawaliśmy dwie kapsułki kawy dziennie, torebki z herbatą, sól, cukier, przyprawy) dopiero na naszą stanowczą prośbę dostarczono duży kubeł na śmieci i worki plastikowe do tego kubła. Wszędzie gołe ściany, brak ozdób na ścianach i jakiejkolwiek zieleni w domu czy na tarasie W łazience brak mydła w płynie. Pod prysznicem mydło trzeba trzymać w ręku bo brak półki. Gdy wszedłem pod prysznic i namydliłem głowę nagle gorąca woda zamieniła się w lodowatą. Często w czasie naszego pobytu brak było ciepłej wody w kranie.

• I (6/5): Palermo piękne. - Rewelacyjna lokalizacja. Wszędzie blisko: do portu, zabytków. Nocleg w sercu Palermo. Wyjątkowy metraż- duże pokoje, mało światła, ale to oczywiste w gorącym latem mieście. Zabytkowy budynek, w którym są mieszkania, ma swój urok i klimat. Poważnym mankamentem apartamentu, w którym byłam, jest jego usytuowanie nad restauracjami, jedna z nich funkcjonuje codziennie do godziny 2 nad ranem, dwukrotnie w ciągu tygodnia z muzyką na żywo. Właściciele restauracji porządkują krzesła późną nocą i wtedy sen jest niemożliwy. Obiekt dysponuje wieloma apartamentami, na pewno nie wszystkie znajdują się od ruchliwej ulicy i nad dwiema restauracjami.

Lo único que merece una observación es que la carga eléctrica del apartamento no está en relación al equipamiento, un par de veces en la noche se nos corto la luz y tuvimos que bajar para activar la llave del medidor en planta baja ( por suerte dimos con la correcta), no soporta la carga de los equipos de aire y las luces, no te digo al encender el horno o el lavaplatos,

• Soshana (7/5): Great stay in the historic old town of Palermo - Clean and spacious flat, with comfortable rooms. Amazing location in the historic old town, at walking distance to everything we wanted to visit as well as the train station. Conveniently close to a Lidl supermarket too, and amazing pizzas in the restaurant downstairs from the flat. Very good water pressure in the shower, and functioning aircon. The hosts were communicative and helpful. The kitchen equipment was a bit too minimal to enable normal use (no kettle, no dish towels, no washing machine or clothes drying rack) and the bathroom lacked hooks and shelves to put our clothes and toiletries. It should be noted that despite double glazing to help with sound insulation, the noise level coming from the outside remains quite high, especially on weekend nights where the restaurant/street downstairs is loud and busy. It should also be noted that the flat offers very little natural sunlight during the day - although that is most likely advantageous in the summer to avoid the heat.

• Veronica (7/5): Appartamenti carini ma ci vuole anche altro - La posizione. Gli appartamenti sono stati ristrutturati di recente e sono molto carini. Il riscaldamento era funzionante. Assolutamente perfettibile, con piccoli accorgimenti Non era comodo. In una delle stanze dell'appartamento "Angelo" l'armadio era privo di staffa e quindi inutilizzabile. Inoltre l'armadio era posizionato sull'interruttore della luce per cui per accendere la luce bisognava spostare l'armadio. I piumini erano privi di copripiumino e in buona parte macchiati. Non c'erano piani d'appoggio, ganci nei bagni, appendiabiti. Abbiamo dovuto tenere tutto sulle valigie o sulle sedie (anche gli asciugamani). Avevamo in dotazione un'unica chiave per appartamento. Ci è capitato di aver rotto la chiave (colpa nostra) per cui, non essendoci un duplicato disponibile, abbiamo dovuto appoggiarci per la notte nell'appartamento dei nostri amici. Solo l'indomani alle 11 ci hanno consegnato la chiave nuova. Se ci avessero fornito almeno 2 chiavi ad appartamento questo non sarebbe successo. Restaurants were nearby, and while it wasn’t completely quiet, it was not too noisy thanks to being on the third floor. Recently renovated, with two bathrooms, a comfortable bed, and an elevator in the building. Communication with the host could be improved. Messages and questions were not answered, and phone calls were not picked up. Check-in instructions were sent only as a video; it would have been much better to receive clear written information in advance, instead of waiting for a response at the door. The Wi-Fi password was mentioned in the video, but it was unclear and we were unable to connect. We also asked for extra towels — they were eventually provided, but without any prior reply, so we were surprised to find them left at the door without notice.

• Turcu-Stiolica (10/5): - The apartment is very well situated in the center of Palermo, in a very nice old building (palazzo). It is big, two rooms and two bathrooms. The host was very nice and helpful.
• eleonora (6/5): Bene in generale - Posizione, stile del palazzo, appartamento in generale, molto luminoso, spazioso abitabile. Assenza totale dell’host e scarsa cura dell’appartamento. La cassetta delle chiavi era rotta e non c’è stata alcuna assistenza da parte dell’host. L’appartamento, seppur molto bello, manca completamente di personalità e attenzione ai dettagli: gli armadi non hanno l’asta per appendere i vestiti, non ci sono attaccapanni o spazi per riporre giacche e giubbotti, nessun elemento d’arredo che renda l’ambiente accogliente. Mancavano anche le dotazioni essenziali: nemmeno una bottiglia d’acqua all’arrivo, nessun sapone per le mani in bagno. Lo stendino in terrazza è rotto, così come la porta della doccia; inoltre in bagno manca il porta carta igienica e non c’è alcun supporto per appoggiare shampoo o sapone. Le coperte non erano perfettamente pulite e il piumone aveva un evidente buco causato da una piastra. Nel complesso, si percepisce una totale mancanza di attenzione nella gestione dell’appartamento, ed è un vero peccato perché la struttura avrebbe un grande potenziale.

• Anna (8/5): - L'appartamento si trova in una posizione ottima, centralissima e comoda per visitare la città. Gli spazi erano puliti e ben tenuti, perfetti per un soggiorno breve. I letti non erano particolarmente comodi, e mancavano alcune dotazioni base come lo zucchero e il detersivo per i piatti, che ho dovuto acquistare a parte. Nel complesso comunque un buon soggiorno, ideale per chi cerca una sistemazione funzionale in centro.

• Andrea (6/5): Non tornerò - Il punto dove situato davvero ottimo, bella confortevole ed accogliente I filtri dei climatizzatori erano sporchi mi sono limitato a pulire solo quello della camera da letto più a portata di mano, mentre facevo la doccia mi sono ritrovato in pochi istanti il piatto doccia pieno d'acqua che faticava ad uscire, anche in questo caso ho estratto fuori il filtro e tolto un'ammasso di non so cosa che tappava lo scarico, nell'annuncio non c'è scritto che aprendo la porta ci sono subito delle scale da salire, la comunicazione non è stata ottima ho provato giorni prima a chiamare e non rispondevano ne al cellulare ne all'email chiedendo se era disponibile dove parcheggiare in zona, dopo aver chiamato booking che ha contattato la struttura mi ha richiamato la stessa rispondendo un ragazzo dicendo che la ragazza stava male e per questo non poteva rispondere al telefono e mi ha dato le informazioni che volevo dicendo che la zona e ztl e bisogna acquistare un pass giornaliero da 5 euro cosa che nell'annuncio non mettono per iscritto, uno qualunque avrebbe fatto strada con il navigatore senza accorgersi di entrare nella ztl e prendendo verbali, nel prezzo totale leggo che la tassa di soggiorno non è inclusa di 4 euro a persona a notte e poi nel totale me la ritrovo già pagata anche quella, arrivo finalmente a destinazione e provo a chiamare la struttura per sapere come entrare e mi rifiuta più volte il telefono, chiamo allo stesso numero su watshapp uguale chiamata rifiutata, e dopo 5 minuti ricevo un videomessaggio su come aprire portone e porta di casa seguito da un vocale dove mi diceva che al telefono non mi sentiva mentre invece mi rifiutava la chiamata, salgo in casa e trovo il foglio stampato della tassa di soggiorno dove porta scritto 2 euro a notte e da pagare in struttura, ma io dei propietari in 3 giorni non ne ho visto nemmeno l'ombra nemmeno per prendersi i documenti per la tassa di soggiorno e registrarli, fosse per questo se l'ha fanno pagare anticipatamente su booking, serrande delle porte esterne con...

• monica (9/5): Nuevo y muy amplio - Es nuevo y muy cómodo, para 6 genial porque tiene dos baños. Es amplio y muy céntrico. Recomendable Faltan algunos utensilios de cocina. No nos importó porque no hicimos comidas pero para el desayuno no había cubiertos para todos.

• Anna (8/5): Molto piacevole - Ho trovato un mini appartamento con tutti i comfort. L'ambiente è silenzioso, luminoso e spazioso. Posizione ideale, a 15 minuti dalla stazione ferroviaria, perfetto per visitare la città a piedi e per fare una passeggiata sul lungomare. Comodissimo anche per raggiungere i paesi limitrofi. L'appartamento si raggiunge con l'ascensore ma per accedere alle camere dalla porta d'ingresso c'è una breve scala piuttosto stretta non adatta a persone con problemi di deambulazione. Per noi non ha rappresentato un problema, anzi, nella sua architettura l'abbiamo trovata anche piuttosto carina.

It’s located in a wonderful area of the old town with many restaurants and bars nearby. The air con worked well and was a blessing on this hot Sicilian days. They staff were prompt with questions. Would definitely recommend. A bit of soap for the showers and perhaps coffee pods on arrival would be helpful

Both bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and functional. The living room has plenty of space for kids to play, which was great when rainy or in the morning/evening. The host was very kind and helpful. Overall a great experience The kitchen had limited supplies (few dishes, no cutting board), but easy work around
• Julia (9/5): Better than expected! - The size of the apartment was bigger than anticipated, it was very well equipped - had everything we needed, it was very clean and well organised. The host was friendly. The apartment in reality looked much better than in photos. The location was great - we felt safe and it was close to move around the city. The walls are paper thin - you could hear everything from the inside and the outside of the apartment including people partying till very late at night in the restaurants below. It wasn't too disturbing for us but its worth noting for people who have trouble sleeping.
• Ioannis (7/5): Too expensive for missing essentials, cramped spaces, limited bathroom use, and poor communication. - I liked the location, the quietness, and the cleanliness of the apartment, as well as the spacious common areas, including the living room and kitchen. There were several missing essentials, such as toilet paper, kitchen paper, and hangers for bath towels. The third bedroom on the upper floor was very small, with a low ceiling that caused us to hit our heads frequently, not friendly and usable for adults. Additionally, there was only one functional bathroom on the ground floor, as the upstairs bathroom was also very small, with a low ceiling, and water tended to spill out of the shower. Communication with the apartment owner was challenging, especially regarding the key code.

It is not ideal for families with kids, since there are lots of bars in the area running late at nights. The staff was not helpful at all: they provided a video to enter the property, which was not complete. I tried to call them for 30 minutes for the keys, without success. I asked for a crib, which was not provided.
