Guest Reviews
- Sarah (8/5): - We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Mara Duma in a triple tent. The tent was right on the Talek River and we slept to the sounds of hippos grunting and frogs. The staff were exceptional - warm, friendly, kind and helpful - and went out of their way to make our stay amazing. Food was tasty and home cooked and they catered for my gluten allergy brilliantly - i didnt get contaminated. The only negative is that because the hotel is right next to the Talek gate to the Masai Mara and a very rutted road, the road started being noisy at about 4.30am with lorries bouncing over the potholes...though we were up at 5.30am or game drives anyway so it didnt matter. Would definitely stay here again. Be aware that the fastest road from Nairobi to thehotel goes via the Park - gates close at 7pm to enter the Park.
- Harold (8/5): - Nice tented camp, the tents are new and covered on a platform. You look right onto the Talek River. At night zebra, hippos other wildlife come to drink.
You are next to the park gate, it is a busy gate complete with the busy balloon guys. But you are right in the park no long drive, you just start your Safari right after your breakfast.
