The man at the reception was very kind and helpful. Additionally, the hotel is very well located, and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was small but very nicely furnished.

- Rika (8/5): Overall, not a bad stay in Paris, especially for such a busy and expensive city. - The staff were very friendly, though the hotel is a little far from the train station and bus stops. The room and toilet were on the smaller side. As we stayed on Level 2, it was quite noisy at night due to sounds from downstairs outside, such as people talking, laughing, and music.

- Pieter (1/5): Unworthy and without functional toilets - AVOID - Nothing. The room was tiny, it didn't even feature a functional toilet, something that seems FAR below the bar of what you would expect for this "4 star" hotel based on the pictures on booking.com. No functional toilet, shady and noisy neighbourhood, hard beds, way too expensive, not even the slightest effort from the hotel's management to accomodate a simple and reasonable request (for example providing a room WITH a functional toilet)...

Ich komme gerne wieder. Das Einzige, was etwas gestört hat, war der Abstand von der unteren Bettkante zur gegenüberliegenden Wand, sehr eng!

Got a replacement room and the shower door didnt close all the way so again the bathroom flooded a bit. The room was only fit for 1 and hard to find space to even open your carry on luggage. They also ask you to leave the hotel card with them due to security and the street outside was really rowdy and loud.

- Francesca (2/5): Not recommended - I stayed at Hotel Château d’Eau, which I chose mainly because I’m an architect and was very intrigued by the newly renovated interiors designed by Studio Necchi. I therefore had very high expectations — unfortunately, they were not met at all. The hotel is undeniably chic and has great potential. The design is thoughtful, with beautiful furniture and well-considered details. However, everything is already in poor condition: it reopened less than a year ago and yet the walls are chipped, the plaster is peeling, the carpet is stained, and there’s an unpleasant sewer smell in the air. It feels like the place has been neglected. The rooms are extremely small, so I decided to upgrade to the “Chambre Privilège” (18 m²), the second most expensive option after the triple room. I expected a bright, comfortable room facing the main street, but instead found a cramped space with low ceilings and a window looking out onto a tiny lightwell with a wall barely half a meter away. The bathroom had no window and no ventilation fan, and the ceiling plaster was literally falling off. The carpet also had large brown stains, which made the room feel even less clean and cared for. There was no proper wardrobe in the room — just a wall-mounted hanger and four hooks. Overall, it was a real disappointment. I didn’t even bother complaining to the staff (who were all very kind and polite), as I was only staying for one night, but in my opinion this hotel does not meet 4-star standards, especially considering the prices they charge. Judge for yourselves from the photos I’ve attached. In addition, the street where the hotel is located is quite sketchy. I’d be afraid to walk back there alone at night.

- Karolina (5/5): Krótki na szczęście, nie czułam się bezpiecznie w tej dzielnicy. - Czystość pokoju i minibar Obsługa i nielogiczny regulamin. Nie można było zapłacić kartą depozytu. Musiała to być gotówka lub dane karty. Przy podróży jednodniowej i brak chęci korzystania z minibaru nie powinni chcieć karty fizycznej. Plus brak o tym informacji. Na 7 podróży do Paryża, żaden hotel tego nie wymagał. Prośba o kontakt z menagerem została wyśmiana. Plus na korytarzu śmierdziało potem. Bardzo głodny pokój od ulicy. Nie dało się spać.
