• Alison (10/5): - beautiful house, very comfortable - I was there alone, but there are 2 bedrooms, so could easily accommodate 4 people in beds and there is a sofa bed in the living room.

Estava bem limpa, tinha roupas de cama e toalhas em quantidade suficiente e extra, e a cozinha tinha o básico essencial. O único ponto negativo, embora não seja imputável aos anfitriões, é que a casa fica junto ao que suponho ser um canil, ou uma propriedade com muitos canis, e durante toda a noite se ouvem os cães a ladrar ou choramingar, o que impede o descanso.

• Freitas (8/5): Beautiful home, very clean and tidy. Perfect location to The Praça - center of Santa Cruz. - Great location, very clean. Kind host. There was a coffee machine and coffee capsules, but No milk or sugar for the coffee.
• Elsa (8/5): Great location close to everything we needed. - Great location. Short walk to coffee shops, groceries, taxi, and bus. Right in the Center of things. Host was very pleasant and accommodating with our needs as we communicated only in Portuguese. Our bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room for the family to sit in the living room. The noise from the neighbourhood dogs keeping us up all night. I'm sure we weren't the only ones! Towards the end of our trip however the number of dogs decrease and the noise did somewhat too.
• Idalina (4/5): Great home, location and host. But unfortunateyI would not recommend so to my comments above. - The property is clean, in a great location, comfortable and the host was very accommodating. It has a very small closet kitchen with a fridge, toaster oven, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. The supermarket is close and we often had breakfast and lunch at home. The neighbour right next door is running a dog kennel and or dog breeding establishment. These dogs bark all day and all night, non stop. There was around 5-8 dogs in outdoor kennels. The neighbour also seemed to be absent because they never came to calm the dogs down when they were all barking. It is unfortunate as you have no peace day or night. It is absolutely unbearable. Just when you think they have stopped for a minute they start again and don’t stop for hours. The host says that they have tried to rectify the situation but looking at past reviews from 2022 this is an ongoing situation and for this reason even though the host was great I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY BECAUSE OF THE NEIGHBOURS DOG KENNEL NEXT DOOR. It really did effect the happiness of our overall vacation.
