- Leigh-Ann Davis (7/5): Camps Bay is a wonderful place to stay,. - Location was great nice walk to beach and restaurants yet quiet and relaxing in the evenings. Some dirty crockery and cutlery in kitchen. Freezer very iced up with old plastic bags inside. No 2 point adaptor plugs so no bedside lights work. Great place has a lot of potential. Mattresses not very comfortable.

- Marinda (5/5): Passable -
- Shameela (3/5): Unhappy with the misinformation which really affected our stay. - The main room was beautiful and comfortable... We were told there were two bedrooms with double beds that was not the case do it was not suitable for adult couples. The host was rude and dismissive of the matter.
- Omar (9/5): Superb -
- Tatiana (5/5): Passable - Good location and property Bad communication with manager. Her phone was off upon check-in. But by check out she called at 9 a.m.))
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional quality. Wow factor as you opened the door. Everything you needed. -
- Memela (5/5): The are is nice but I did not enjoy the place was not clean at all and the linen - It was nice but not clean the linen and the main bedroom bad was not comfortable at all Linen and the bad the electricity every time we do coffee or iron went off
- Henrico (8/5): Very good -
- Malebogo (6/5): Pleasant - To request tissue nd gas to cook To end up paying the person that was suppose to clean dah house because I think that when you are on a hoilday dah owner of dah house must make sure that the house is clean everyday
- Karin (8/5): Very good - Spacious property. Friendly host We missed the final touches. Coffee, soap etc which is standard in any STR
- Sabino (8/5): Very good -
- Lauren (10/5): Little gem in Camps Bay - Pictures don't do the main bedroom justice. Great communication from host, accommodating when possible with earlier check in. No Aircon in twin bedroom, but there is a fan.
- Angelo (8/5): Very good - The location was great
- Maina (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (9/5): Excellent place to stay in Camps Bay - everything about this place
- Shaun (6/5): Nice, but dissappointing. - The layout of the townhouse is nice and modern, with secure parking and access to Camps Bay beach and promenade. We requested check in details in advance when we had wifi access as we had no data roaming, we were messaged someone would meet us at the property, when we arrived no one was there. We had to call the SA number (extra cost for us) to get the access code for the lockbox. After connecting to the townhouse wifi we found we had been sent new instructions, which we did not see (or acknowledge) as we could not receive data.
There was a policy of a ZAR2,000 cash deposit at check in, to be returned at check out, this was a really large amount to have to hold for our last night before flying out, even more irritating when it wasn't used as no one met us at the property to check in.
When we entered we found the townhouse was clean, but with food still in the main fridge, including vegetables and half used jars of condiments.
The pictures of the townhouse on booking.com clearly show twin beds in the 2nd bedroom, this is now a double bed and did not suit our children's sleeping arrangements, also the bedside lights were not plugged in, they had european plugs without an adaptor, so could not be used.
Camps Bay can be very windy and we had large gusts all night, the townhouse is not sealed properly which meant the wind whistled through the front door - and I mean whistled - even with all the windows and doors shut. It was loud enough to upset my young children, it was unsettling even for adults.
The oven had no markings on the dials, so it was complete guess work when we wanted to use it.
The huge TV did not have the TV aerial or satelite connected, Netflix was logged into the someone's account and we could not cast to it.
On the morning of check out we were told it was 10am, despite the booking stating 11am - when we pointed this out the hosts agreed to 10:30am.
The person collecting the keys didn't know how to operate the garage door and gate fob and almost damaged our car when leaving.
We expected better based on price, location and pics
- Godlivian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aviwe (10/5): My husband was over moon - I like everything about the house . It in quiet area great view close to everything malls , restaurants , beach and mountain Nothing
- Paul (10/5): excellent! - Kim was simply a phenomenal host! it gets a bit windy on certain days…but that’s certainly not the fault of the property! haha
it’s also on a hill, so even though there is good proximity to the beach, it’s a bit of a tough walk
- Gayle (8/5): Very good - Perfect location. Comfortable. Good inverter Gate was affected by load shedding.
