• Rebecca (9/5): - Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Waiara Shepherds Hut. Die Lage ist super ruhig und die Hütte sehr gemütlich. Als wir angekommen sind brannte bereits das Feuer im Kamin. Penny ist eine sehr aufgestellte und zuvorkommende Hostess.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

• Kerry (8/5): Great experience for one night , glad it wasn’t longer . - The outside bath was so relaxing, bed was comfortable and fire kept you super warm . Had the best night sleep here. The water pump was loud and compost toilet was stinky . I prob didn’t read . but only tea and coffee making facility’s no mini fridge . You have to drive to town for food . Can’t even do soup which would have been cool.

• Sam (10/5): Cosy, warm and peaceful. - Beautiful spot which had everything we needed. Particularly enjoyed having the log burner and wood fired bath. Penny gave us a warm welcome and had even left some chocolate brownie out for us. (Don’t know if that happens every time)

• Stratton (10/5): Idyllic Countryside Heaven Escape - The beautiful atmosphere and peacefulness! Penny was so respectful and we felt as if we were alone the whole trip The hot tub by the pond is a beautiful additional, we lit it for night and laid in the warm water looking up at the stars Penny's shepherds hut is tiny home heaven, a heated shower is luxurious and with the tea/coffee was a lovely addition Super close to hamner to go out for dinner and adventures we definitely look forward to returning - we enjoyed our first night so much we requested to stay for a second!
• Geof (10/5): Penny is a wonderful host and the cabin is perfect for a peaceful stay. - Off grid, quiet and peaceful. Beautiful. Very close to Hamner Springs but feels very rural.
