Guest Reviews
- Harry (10/5): Lovely clean very central - A lovely clean apartment close to everything in bath great for a family would stay again perfect. Thank you All good
- Louise (9/5): Fantastic location, spacious and comfy. - The location is just perfect. So easy to have everything within walking distance. The two single beds in the bedroom are bigger than what looks in the photo. Absolutely fine for two teenagers. Facilities overall were great. Clean and beds were very comfy. Everything you needed. Nice touch with the tea bags and sugar. Managed to park in the Manvers Street car park opposite. Only negative can think of is the wi Fi was not very good.
- Monica (10/5): A perfect stay - Lovely view, perfect location, spacious and comfortable. N/A
- Sharon (10/5): Gorgeous apartment - The proximity to the Railway Station and the City Centre
- Noemi (10/5): -
- Philippa (9/5): Superb Bath experience - Superb location and beautiful flat, woth all the amenities we could wish for.
Very responsive hosts and a pleasure from start to finish. Nothing, would happily come back
- Natchamai (9/5): -
- Will (9/5): Really fabulous, comfortable stay in a beautiful flat right in the centre of Bath. - Really beautiful flat. Very well decorated. Comfortable. A bit noisy with buses and trucks going past.
- Paul (10/5): - Fabulous flat in the heart of the city. Highly recommended. Nothing at all
- Vanessa (6/5): Great location! - Location was great for easy access to shops in city centre. En-suite bathroom to main bedroom was a bonus! No fault of the owner but had an extremely poor nights sleep due to a lot of noise from passing vehicles and people throughout the night.
Furnishings could do with an upgrade as sofa and side tables looking a bit worn.
- Pat (9/5): -
- Andrew (8/5): Very comfortable well located flat. - Very central location so handy walking distance to main sights etc. this does have the slight disadvantage of more noise at night from partying locals. Comfortable beds and good facilities, good communication from hosts. Bit too hot and couldn’t adjust the temperature but this may be us rather than the equipment! I think there should be basics like toiletries and coffee pods for the machine supplied. It’s a very long time since I’ve stayed anywhere that didn’t do that.
- Anne-Marie (10/5): Excellent choice for staying in Bath - The apartment was very beautiful and was easy to locate. It also felt very safe and secure. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed, including wifi, washing machine, clothes drying racks, fridge, etc. Beds were comfy and rooms had plenty of space.
The location was excellent - we were able to park our hire car across the road for cheap rates, and walk to all areas of Bath on foot. It was very central. We heard some minor on-street noise on the weekend nights as people walked past, but certainly nothing to complain about.
The hosts were very responsive and helpful (especially when we locked ourselves out). Can't fault this place.
- Van (10/5): Beautiful and clean space if you don’t mind the noise. - Beautiful place and perfect location. We can hear traffic, passerby and the guests in the building.
- Charlotte (9/5): Excellent stay, clean, comfortable, welcoming! - Genuinely clean, excellent location, comfortable and a really enjoyable stay. Nothing
- Shane (10/5): Excellent location close to the main city attractions - Great location to the city centre. Apartment was really well kept and comfortable. Would highly recommend.
- Rob (8/5): -
- Janet (10/5): Perfect place to stay . Will return next time . - Location . Very well equipped.
The beds were comfy . Nothing
- Emily (9/5): Gorgeous apartment - central location!! Perfect for a weekend away with the girls - The location is amazing - perfect for walking to the town and back. The space of the apartment is lovely and especially the two bedrooms and bathrooms. The internet was hit and miss. We were missing coffee and pods for the machine, which would have been a nice touch. There was only one champagne flute. The ensuite bathroom flush was super loud. There should also be a coat stand available in the hallway. Would have loved shower gel and shampoo available or in the shower cubicle on the walls etc. Robes and slippers would have made it that bit more special.
- Maureen (9/5): -
- Ronald L (10/5): - Beautiful view of church.
- Kate (9/5): -
- Monika (8/5): -
- Kirsty (10/5): Perfect apartment for a weekend stay in Bath!! - Beautiful apartment in a perfect location for a weekend away!! Extremely clean, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of space, comfy clean beds, lovely views. Literally walking distance from train station and all the sights. Would highly recommend and wouldn’t definitely stay here again!! Little bit noisy of a night but that’s to be expecting being so close to the city centre. Not too much of an issue for us as we all fell asleep pretty quickly after busy days seeing all of the sights :-)
- Luci (9/5): Excellent property for a city stay - Beautiful, well-equipped apartment in a great location - perfect! Many thanks.
- Geraldine (9/5): Lovely clean apartment, central to everything, just up the road from the train station, - Location was great, right in the centre of everything Nothing
- Emma (8/5): A perfectly located and comfortable apartment - The location of this property was perfect, it was right in the centre of Bath and a few minutes walk from the station as described. It was really clean and tastefully decorated too. We didn’t do a lot of cooking but the kitchen has all the equipment needed to make basic meals if you’d prefer not to eat out. It has a good size fridge freezer and a washer dryer. The owners were quick to reply to messages. Despite its very central location it didn’t feel noisy. The WiFi really isn’t great. It’s very slow and frequently disconnects which really frustrated my teenager. Bath in general seems to be a reception black hole. I struggled to get a signal most of the time in the city centre. The bathrooms were very clean but the water pressure in the showers wasn’t particularly good. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the mattresses were comfortable but the pillows were very thin and cheap. This is not the fault of the owners but I was shocked by the lack of recycling facilities. There was a small bin in the kitchen which we quickly filled and then nowhere to put plastic or cardboard waste so we had to put it in general waste bins outside.
- Kristina (10/5): Beautiful apartment with an amazing view! - Absolutely gorgeous apartment, well equipped and super comfortable. Fantastic location with an incredible view! Attentive owners, with great local suggestions. Nothing
- Steven (10/5): Great stay - Perfect location
- Linda (9/5): Comfortable and charming. When we needed help with hot water heater issue we got immediate response - Location and size. Hard to open windows because of height
- Gerard (8/5): Too short - Location was great. Clean and comfortable flat
- Liz (8/5): Pleasant place to say and excellent location. - Location of the property was excellent, just a short walk to the Abbey etc. We took the sight seeing bus as a means of getting around, being able to get on and off when we wanted. The apartment was well equipped and light and airy. Directly across the road was the car park. We were both 5’2” in height and if we wanted to see in the mirrors we would have needed to be nearer 6’! The same for reaching the higher shelves in the kitchen.
We were unable to get the TV to work but the owners tried their best to help us.
- Arbutus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kirsti (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jane (7/5): Good - Extremely noisy at night, drunks walking home from pub nearby
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional - Location was superb - everything was in a few minutes walk. Easily accessible and secure
- Peter (9/5): It was an ideal location for us and our friends for a visit to Bath. Just a few minutes walk away from the city centre. - Ideally situated for visiting the centre of Bath. Clean tidy and comfortable with good facilities. Just one small thing. Not having double glazed windows it was a little noisy as it is on a fairly busy road.
- Edward (10/5): Great apartment located right in the city centre of Bath! - Hosts were excellent - communication was great. Great location. Would gladly stay there again! N/A
- Karina (10/5): Beautiful apartment - Beautiful apartment, perfectly situated right in the heart of Bath.
- Bev (8/5): Lovely space in central Bath - Bright and airy. Heating wasn’t working but host was on it as quickly as possible to resolve .
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional - Thrilled with the location, so close to City centre.
Car park right across the road. Everything we could have asked for on our 3 day break. Highly recommend.
- Sam (10/5): Excellent we had a group of 4 who met up from various areas of the UK and some that dropped in for a catch up, was perfe - Perfect location for the station and shopping Nothing
- Brona (10/5): Really nice accommodation, very well maintained - Comfortable, clean, great location Nothing.
- Albena (10/5): A very well-appointed flat provided a wonderful stay -
- Naomi (10/5): Beautiful comfy apartment, perfect location, will definitely be back. - Beautiful apartment, everything you possibly could need, clean and very comfortable. The location was amazing, central, within walking distance of everything.
- Jacqui (9/5): Superb -
- Natalie (8/5): Very good -
- Kevin (5/5): Central location but perhaps plan to stay in the summer and take war plugs. - Spacious and clean We were freezing cold. The thermostat wouldn’t go higher than 20 however most of the night the property didn’t go above 16. After reading reviews, that seems to be a recurring theme. The location is central which yes is good, but please be aware that it’s extremely noisy as it’s close to clubs and bars - between 12 - 4am was terrible.
Check out was 11am however when we popped back to the apartment after taking our belongings to the car and grabbing a coffee someone was already in and cleaning at 10:45.
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional - Standard of apartment was excellent..bedding of high quality as was all kitchen equipment and so Central it made our visit so easy to tour around Bath...would thoroughly recommend Nothjng
- Sharon (9/5): Perfect apartment in a fab location - Location was perfect and great apartment and perfect for 3 of us. Shower in main bathroom needs attention. Flow was poor on hot.
- Clare (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pamela (10/5): Exceptional apartment - The apartment was in a central location handy for attractions and the Christmas markets with a carpark right opposite.
It was. It was beautifully furnished, well equipped and very warm. Beds were exceptionally comfy - everything you need to hand There wasn't anything not to like about the apartment
- Elk (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is fab! Located very central, all the sights, great pubs and restaurants are in walking distance. Beds are really comfortable. Very clear access instructions provided. Can be noisy in the mornings due to central location.
- David (9/5): Great location in comfortable apartment for our family of 4 (adults) to enjoy our first visit to Bath! - Fantastic location—easy walking to many sights, dining spots and train station! Lovely light bright space, comfortable, clean and secure. WiFi could be better.
- Sally (10/5): Exceptional - Very centrally located.
- John (8/5): This property provides very nice accommodations in a convenient location. - I liked the location, furnishing, and security of the property. The property had low water pressure, the old windows were difficult to operate, and the building was not well isolated from outside noise.
- Marisa (9/5): Superb -
- Bridget (10/5): A perfect three days, had a great stay in a lovely apartment. Very satisfied - Loved the location. Loved the soft comfy bed. Loved everything !! The key code needs looking at on the Red front door. It is brass, and the code numbers shines out where the other numbers are dull.
The shower corners need cleaning
- Saif (9/5): Superb -
- Charlotte (10/5): Fantastic location stunning apartment x - Stunning apartment fantastic location! Really easy to find great communication. We had everything we needed. Perfect stay x
- Simon (8/5): Very good - Great location Poor hot water supply, lukewarm shower, drain blocked in shower. Greasy oven.
- Jeanette (10/5): Great location - Apartment was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and ot is located centrally near bars, shops, restaurants. I would definitely recommend You get a lot of noisy people when the bars close, but then quietens down. wasnf really an issue though.
- Jeanette (8/5): An ideal place to stay for sightseeing in and around the city of Bath. - Its in an ideal situation for getting around Bath It would have been nice, having just travelled across the world, not to have to go out to buy milk for a much needed cup of tea, so some complimentary items would have been appreciated.
Also, being asked to strip the bed before we left after paying a fifty pound cleaning fee, was a little cheeky!
- Poh-ling (6/5): Location is 4 star but needs improvement in some areas - The location is great. Wonderful view, very quiet, and handy to car park. Kitchen is good even though we did not cook. Good instructions for entering apartment. Basics were not available. No soap or shampoo in bathrooms, only hand soap. Also no dishwasher tablets, not even one which I discovered only upon doing a single wash before leaving the flat. Maintenance needed in main bathroom - bathroom basin appears stuck and did not drain properly. Toilet seat is wobbly.
I compare this to the house we took in St Ives for 3 nights where every effort was made for our comfort. Similar cost per person per night.
- Louise (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful flat, airy and light! It had everything we needed. Great place to stay as a base for a visit to Bath and beyond. Close to bus and train station. Easy check in (2 door codes then a lock box). Friendly hosts. Better than being in a hotel especially at the price! Nothing. We will be back!
- Carla (9/5): City break - Lovely apartment, good communication from the hosts allowing us to check in a little early. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Perfect location, close to the train station and Bath City Centre. Would definitely return. Not the fault of the hosts, but It is quite noisy, purely due to the location and single glazed windows. However, they provide ear plugs which worked a treat and it didn't spoil our stay at all.
- Gareth (10/5): perfect for a short stay - Everything. Beautiful old building right in the middle of bath. Spotlessly clean and well decorated. Relaxing lounge with fabulous views Nothing
- Charlie (10/5): Exceptional - Location is perfect, beautiful view and very comfortable beds.
Beautiful decor with all kitchen facilities you could need.
- Suni (8/5): A room with a view - The location was perfect for us. Its central to everything with the train station only a couple of minutes walk away. The apartment is right opposite the car park which makes loading stuff very easy especially with all of our child's stuff we had with us. It has a lovely view of the church in the living room and also a snippet of Bath cathedral on the other side of the apartment. It was clean and the rooms are generous for that area. We will definitely be staying there again when we next visit. As its an old building the windows aren't well insulated so it can get cold. It can also get noisy when people are coming out of bars/clubs nearby but thats what you'd get if you're staying in the centre of a city. As it's an apartment complex, you can hear other occupants in the other flats when they're talking in the hallway. But it's not a big problem if you're only staying for a couple of nights.
- Annette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (10/5): Something a bit special! - Central location. car park adjacent. Fab rooms, high ceilings, stylishly appointed, spotless, well equipped. shower water pressure could have been better!
- Melanie (5/5): Passable - Location was perfect. The apartment was elegant and beautifully decorated. The en-suite smelled of blocked drains, there was food (popcorn) down the back of the sofa - the cushions should have been moved and hoovered. Corkscrew was cheap and didn’t work, Bluetooth speaker didn’t work. Very few glasses, and chipped crockery
- Angela (10/5): Perfect for a getaway with friends. - Great central location. Clean and comfortable. Ideal for a get away. Facilities to cook own meals if required. Nothing.
- Knapp (9/5): Lovely Bath - Beautiful apartment, ideal location. Due to no double glazing and being on the route to the train station. There was a lot of noise with revellers walking past.
- Anthony (9/5): Superb -
- Victoria (8/5): Gorgeous apartment in excellent location for Bath weekend. - Could have been soap or body wash available in the bathrooms.
- Kowalke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Beth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Noland (8/5): A lovely stay in a beautiful apartment perfectly located from a lot of the attractions in Bath - Perfect location, nice open living spaces Shower pressure wasn’t great but not a deal breaker
- Kathrene (8/5): Great location, neat apartment with amenities - Great location, spacious apartment
- Dimitrios (8/5): Very good - good location and well kept I a found it puzzling that an apartment with such a large bedroom had no draws to store your clothes in
- Oddny (9/5): Wonderful - The location is excellent, a short walk from the train station and the city center. The apartment is really comfortable, clean and beautiful. We liked that it has two bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen.
- Chew8acca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Judith (10/5): A fab few days in gorgeous Bath in a fantastic flat - The property was beautifully furnished, perfectly located and the owner extremely accommodating
- Penelope (9/5): Great location, lovely light apartment, very handy for the carpark - would stay again. - A lovely bright apartment. Carpark opposite. A really great location as just round the corner from the Abbey and Roman Baths and lots of restaurants. Very comfortable. I think the cleaner might have let the owners down a bit but when we pointed out the problem, we heard straight back from them. Such tall ceilings and the weight of the curtains made them rather difficult to pull.
- Jenny (9/5): very enjoyable if we ever come to bath again would rebook the appartment - location was perfect there were chips in the crockery
- John (8/5): Swift communication with host on check-in arrangement. - Host was accommodating. Cleaned the place first thing on their list. Walking distance to city centre.
- Norizah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (8/5): Lovely flat - wrong location for sleep - Woken every night ( Mon and Tues) from midnight til 4am with noisy clients of nightclub at 10 Manvers st . No double glazing to stop outside noise - horrendous!!
- Cajiten (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gemma (9/5): Perfect accommodation, ideal location - Had a perfect stay here celebrating my mums special birthday.
It was a gorge property with everything we neeeded right in the centre of bath . A little noisy with people walking past but didn’t really bother us .
- Ray (9/5): Superb - Nice unit, very clean and comfortable. Great location. All good
- Louise (8/5): Very good - Great location. Easy access. Good towels and bedding. It was extremely hot and required air conditioning. No lift for heavy cases.
- Sue (9/5): Superb apartment in a fantastic location, would definitely recommend - Fantastic location walking distance to restaurants, attractions
Well equipped, comfortable and spacious
- Eleanor (10/5): Wonderful, comfy apartment - This is such a beautiful and comfortable apartment, and set in a fantastic location. It was clean and tidy on arrival, and the information provided by the owners was really useful. It was hot in Bath when we were there, but the apartment stayed lovely and cool. Being city centre, there was some noise from roads and people on nights out, but it was by no means bothersome, and we were visiting from our home in the countryside where it's much quieter!
- Eleanor (10/5): Elegant apartment in the city centre. Great access to the sights and to transport links. - Beautifully appointed flat in the centre of Bath. 5 minutes from the Roman Baths. Round the corner from M&S Food Hall. Parking is just across the road, but it was so central that we did not move the car for all three days. Great value, too. Absolutely nothing. Well, mirrors and blind pulls are a little high if you’re shorter. That’s all.
- Yiye (10/5): Exceptional - Unexpected amazing!
- Rachael (8/5): This is a quality property. Well done -
- Irina (10/5): Gorgeous apartment in amazing location. - This location is central enough to easily walk to all attractions in Bath and train station, yet quiet in the evening allowing for complete relaxation.
Apartment is gorgeous with beautiful view of a cathedral in Bath. The hosts were very gracious and responsive to all our questions. There was nothing negative. We loved it here and would stay again.
