• Karyn (9/5): Old Town Charm - The location Spacious The host could provide a sheet of paper with WiFi Network and Password information, how to lock the door and where to leave rubbish at the end rather than quite a few texts. They were happy to answer questions but it would be more efficient. They should have said it was 85 steps up to the apartment. My husband is 84! It said top flat but that isn't enough The bathroom needs painting, thr grouting is nasty That said it was OK and we liked it these are things that can be fixed.

• Joao (7/5): - L’emplacement du logement est parfait ! L’accessibilité est simple et les espaces sont grands ce qui est très agréable. La cuisine manque d’équipements surtout avec la présence d’un lave vaisselle. Il n’y avait qu’un seul verre .. il pourrait également y avoir une deuxième assiette à soupe ! De plus, il serait agréable de mettre des rideaux à la fenêtre de la cuisine afin d’avoir main de lumière dans la chambre le matin (ou avoir une séparation qui se ferme entre les deux pièces).

• Nataliya (8/5): - I was traveling as a historical fiction writer with my main purpose of visiting local sights, so the location of the apartment was perfect. Most of the sights are within walking distance. Great views and convenient city transport stops- from bus and T-trains to ferry. The apartment is simple ( the photos are very accurate ) but you have everything for convenient stay. The apartment is perfect for the money. P.S. the apartment is under the roof and my neighbor 's name was Carlson:) The pillows were my only trouble. Too small, yet it's my personal preference.

• Alla (8/5): Great location, comfortable apartment. - Great location, comfortable apartment. Shower with toilet are very small. Apartments are located on the last floor without elevator. One issue that caused unnecessary stress was related to the garbage disposal requirement. We were instructed by information on the wall of apartment to take out the trash, and there was a code written on the wall inside the apartment for the trash door. Unfortunately, this code did not work. We were left standing downstairs with the garbage, unable to open the door and unsure what to do. Later, we found out that a different, correct code had been sent by email. It would be highly recommended to ensure that the information provided inside the apartment matches the actual valid code, or at least to clearly highlight that the correct code is only available via email.

• Αγγελική (7/5): I'd being in Gamla stan enough? - The location is great! also, the fact that the building is quite old adds this vintage character to the flat,which is nice! Other than that, the flat offers the bare minimum. The owners depend on the location and in the fact that because of that, they'll always have customers. We stayed for one night, so for us, it was just fine. But everything was just enough made so it won't be a problem. Cleaness average- Amenities average - etc. Communication was clear, only through text. In general, the flat needs a little bit more love.

• stephan (5/5): 4. Stock ohne Aufzug! Rest lieblos - Lage und Preis sind gut, wenn eng, laut, mäßig ausgerüstet und im 4. Stock Altbau ohne Aufzug ok ist. Das wird ne längere Liste und vieles wurde bei anderen Bewertungen geschrieben. Vierter Stock ohne Aufzug. Das hätte man erwähnen können. Das geht gar nicht!! Nur mit Rucksack ok. mit zwei 23kg Koffern, nicht machbar! Der Zugangscode zum Müllraum ist falsch, denn richtigen bekommt man bei Abreise (entspricht dem Zugangscode der Aussentür). Die Wohnunstür schließt, von aussen, über das Tastenfeld (Pfeiltaste drücken). Eine Anleitung dafür gibt es aber nicht, das muss man ausprobieren andere Gäste haben die Wohnung offen gelassen weil sie es nicht gefunden haben. Die Küchenausrüstung ist ein Desaster. Ein Glas, ein tiefer Teller, bei zwei Gästen! Nee. Alle anderen Teller angeschlagen. Kein Flaschenöffner, Spühlmaschine defekt. Keine Zwischentüren aber der Kühlschrank so laut, dass man im Schlafzimmer nicht schlafen kann. Toilette super eng, Küchenfenster ohne Vorhang, jedoch muss man durch die Küche, um in die Dusche zu kommen. Teilweise fehlen Fliesen im Bad. Alles sehr lieblos und für wenig Geld zu verbessern. Auch ein korrektes Manuel in der Wohnung wäre gut. Es gibt zwar ein Zettel aber Abreisezeiten, Codes, etc. darauf sind falsch und Angaben unvollständig. Die Lage ist super, aber zu unsere Glück hat es die Nächte geregnet, da man ansonsten wegen des Lärmes aus den Kneipen unten nicht hätte schlafen können. Der Geruch nach altem Bratfett, im Treppenhaus im EG, war so ekelhaft, dass wir auf ein Essen in den Restaurants verzichtet haben und nur mit angehalten Luft durch das Treppenhaus gekommen sind. Man merkt der Vermieter braucht Gäste kein Zweites mal.

• Michael (3/5): Good location with drawbacks, needs a functioning kitchen - The location of the property was good, but that had some drawbacks mainly around noise from the bars very near to the property. It is amazing Stockholm allows this level of noise well into the morning. The host was prompt when we raised the issue of the garbage smell downstairs. We booked the property earlier this year and we were dismayed to see - several days before our arrival - a steep decline in recent positive reviews specifically around the amenities. We have never seen a unit so poorly equipped. We are not advocating a professional kitchen, but there should be enough equipment to make decent breakfast for two people or the occasional lunch or dinner. Existing Kitchen Equipment : - 1 drinking glass - 1 wine glass - 2 champagne glasses - 1 shallow bowl -1 Several pots, the largest one with one of the handles that had broken off which was sitting in the drawer - 5-6 plates (several of which were severely chipped) - An adequate number of mugs for coffee/tea - A small number of kitchen utensils (spatula, etc.) Missing: - drinking glasses - full set of dishes including bowls - teapot - serving dishes or serving bowls - working set of pots - trivets - drying rack for a small number of dishes - no drawer tray for the cutlery - no colander - toaster Some other comments: - no clothes drying rack (we understand there is no washer, but it would be a benefit) - no loo roll holder - no shampoo or body wash when we arrived (a nice to have) Also, as you enter the building on the main floor there is an overwhelming smell of rotting garbage. We did mention this to the owner who appears to have done something to get the area cleaned, but even after that, the smell was overwhelming. With the exception of the noise (not the owner's fault), this property has the possibility to be * very good * - make the kitchen functional and possibly add a washer and drying rack. We understand the place was not advertised to have a washer and that it is on the 3rd floor so we cannot be critical of this, but spending 100 € at IKEA would solve a lot of the kitchen issues listed above.
• Long (8/5): Great location! Don’t expect a modern day location. Very clean and well taken care of! - The location is fantastic. If you have heavy luggage you will be carrying up narrow steps. No elevator. Window curtain doesn’t fully block window.

• Magnús Dagur (8/5): Very nice, would be superb if some facilities would be a bit better! - The location was brilliant and the host was helpful. Cozy apartment! I didn’t like the bed being two single beds made into a double bed. Also the kitchen facilities were not good. Only one bowl for example, don’t think there was a cutting board as well. Could be nicer in that department but the location of the apartment made it all worth it.

• Jovana (1/5): The Worst experience ever. - The location. This is the first time I’ve ever left a negative review on Booking.com, despite having completed 26 bookings over the past two years. Unfortunately, this stay was beyond disappointing. We arrived at the apartment at 3:55 PM, just before the check-in time, only to find the cleaner still inside. He left a few minutes later, but once we entered, it was clear the place was far from clean. The floors, toilet, kitchen, and even the fridge were filthy—it was absolutely disgusting. We immediately contacted Booking.com support to request a different apartment, as this one was completely unacceptable. Instead of helping us relocate, they said they would send cleaners again. Two men arrived and cleaned for about an hour. To be fair, the cleaners were very polite and tried their best—but the condition of the apartment was beyond what a simple cleaning could fix. There was human hair on the toilet seat, in the fridge, and all over the floor. The kitchen sink was greasy and dirty, the bed was broken, and the headboard was stained. The curtains and furniture were also heavily stained, and worst of all, there was a strong and unpleasant odor coming from the kitchen sink. The main issue is not with the cleaning staff, but with the apartment itself. The owner needs to invest in replacing the bed, curtains, and several other items. Some parts of the apartment are simply too old and dirty to ever be properly cleaned again. We were stuck. With no availability in nearby hotels, we had no choice but to stay for four nights. To make matters worse, it was my husband’s birthday, and the experience completely ruined it. We even had to borrow clean sheets and towels from friends who were staying in a different apartment. This was, without question, the worst experience we've ever had with a rental. I honestly don’t understand how this property is still allowed to be listed on Booking.com. It was a nightmare from start to finish.

• Silver (6/5): Nice location, but the apartment has its several annoying problems and shortcomings. - Great location, easy to find and not extremely expensive. Great to have a dishwasher available. The curtain was improperly placed, broken, rickety and didn’t block the light at all, the shower caused the entire bathroom floor to get wet and slippery due to the absence of a threshold. And on the last day of my stay the code lock stopped working so i couldn’t lock the apartment from the outside, which in turn urged me to rent a luggage locker in central station for 135 SEK. I tried to communicate with the host about this problem and a possible solution, but it was really hard to get a serious response from them.

• Johnathon (6/5): Very good location - It’s in a very good location, especially from the ferry terminal. I think this is usually an Air BnB, there were instructions in bold in the kitchen telling me to take out the rubbish. The bedroom was quite dusty.

• Jolita (7/5): Overall, for the price, it's definitely not bad. - Overall, everything was good. The location is excellent, the apartment is clean and spacious enough. It's very convenient that the entrance has a code lock, especially since we had a late flight. The apartment had everything we needed. Although it was mentioned that there are many bars on the ground floor and that noise might be heard in the apartment, we could hear not only parties but also every passing train. The bed could be more comfortable, and the pillows were very poor. It was a bit complicated to find the apartment, and better communication from the host would be appreciated. Also, keep in mind that the apartment is on the fourth floor with no elevator.
